10 Secret of the place that no one visits

The girl in front of Kara had fair snow-white skin and wore black, somewhat grey tight-fitting clothes that accentuated her voluptuous curves. Her hair was purely raven and her eyes were pitches of gracious black jewels.

This was the very girl that was said to be sealed inside the treasured book of the shadow clan, May.

Obviously, she had basically introduced herself as a "Shadow".

"A princess what?"

Had there ever been a shadow princess? Although this girl had developed quite well and certainly looked as beautiful as men's fantasies of princesses, Kara had read countless books as he grew up bored in the enchanted village of shadows.

"I had never heard of a shadow princess? Do you care to explain a little?"

Obviously, the girl added the phrase "Dark Princess of Silence" on her self-introduction on purpose. So there must be a reason.

Kara's attitude shocked the beautiful girl, as the reaction she expected to show in Kara's face did not come out.

"Could it be that my name don't mean nothing now?"

After a long period of silence, she felt awry and showed downcast.

When Kara saw this, she gave up on asking her. Maybe she could explain after some time.

"Unfortunately, I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't even know what it means, but you're the one inside the book. You are now free because it had been sealed?" Kara asked.

"That's right." May immediately said as if a bird poop fell on her head.

After shaking her head and biting her lip softly, she positively looked around the place and started talking, "I didn't know you're going here. You could have told me. Nothing has changed here I see," she said and there was a little pause, "Wait this is a perfect chance. I still could feel it."

"You…could feel what…?"

What could she mean when she said she can "feel it"?

Based on where their conversation was going, the girl was definitely strange. When did an "it" was in the Forest of the Darn?

According to rumors, since the beginning of time, the Forest of the Darn was one of the most mysterious unexplored places in the world. However, it was common sense what kind of place this place was. "The moment one comes inside, you might not even get out forever." If a normal person comes in, they could spend the rest of their lives walking without any direction and light.

And that was true even for the shadows. There were times the clan sent their forces to investigate this forest. But the rumors were true. There was no food and water, so it was dire and actually worthless. It was that very lifeless place that had been drained of radiance and vibrance.

For May to utter what she said…wasn't that the same as telling she knew the secret of this forest?

May heard Kara's question and understood the situation.

Looking at the place with nostalgia, she spoke, "This place is the place I was born. That's right. It's still here. Come with me I show you something interesting."

The beautiful girl grabbed Kara's hand, and god, it could not be smoother.

Suddenly, before he could even think, they suddenly appeared inside a classic western styled house with many rooms and stairs as if they just teleported!

Kara immediately remembered Chris. But fortunately, when he looked for him, he saw the young boy unconscious and sleeping in a sofa as though he had been inside the house all this time!

He glanced at the beautiful girl and asked, "Where are we?"

"I explain later, for now, follow me, as for the boy, let him sleep for now, he would not be awake until he goes out of this forest anyway." She simply replied, and started to walk to the path.

Kara followed her. "This" was strange, but at least he knew that they were still inside the forest.

The classic western house was very spacious and big. The stairs were long and curvy. Fancy orange twinkling chandeliers hanging in chains were on top. After a minute has passed, Kara followed May as she guided her to somewhere.

Soon, they entered the Master's Bedroom. She gently pushed the big doors opened and they came in.

As soon as they came in, the image of a queen-sized bed, study desk, dresser, closet, and a fancy chandelier on the top came into sight. As expected, the room was very spacious, comparable to a king's royal chamber!

Kara remembered May's introduction where she called herself "Dark Princess of Silence." When he thought about that, he couldn't unconnect the identity of a princess to the beautiful girl now.

It was still interesting though. Wasn't she a shadow? Did shadows ever had princesses? She never heard of something like that.

While he was looking at the spacious room, he could help but get confused and curious "where" this could possibly be inside the forest. While he was guessing, May had returned with jewelry on her neck laced with silver.

After a short period of silence, she pulled out the pendant of the necklace that had been peacefully resting between her ample snow-white curves of her chest.

"Is that the interesting thing?" Kara asked.

"Don't you think it's pretty?"

Kara certainly did not understand where this was going. Why would he be interested of a mere pendant on a necklace? But this was coming from the beautiful girl. So he studied the black pearl in the girl's hands curiously.

'It's so clear like a glass but it is clearly naturally formed.'

But the pearl was honestly underwhelming. He thought it was a weapon or something eye-catching or glamorously otherworldly item. 'I got my hopes up, but clearly, it's just a stone. She seems to like it though…for some reason. It's probably best if I don't say anything.'

"What now?"

"That look! I see you're looking down at my treasure just now. Let's see what your face will look like when we get out!" May suddenly said, with a sneaky smile.

In this short time, Kara had been learning what kind of girl May was.

Clink!

May snapped her fingers and "psh", they were back in the living room!

Clink!

"Carry the kid now, we leave." May said.

After a short sigh, Kara carried Chris on his back and glanced at May. He then followed May to the door and walked out.

"Ladies first."

"What do you mean?"

"Open the door for me."

"I know I have no pride at all, so I don't care but this is a little annoying. This side of you." Kara said, as he twisted the door, and pushed the door open.

Suddenly, a blinding white light screened Kara's sight!

"Huh?"

For some reason, he could now hear the chirping of the birds!

The sun beamed on his youthful face, and her crimson eyes! The trees that he remembered as dreary and dark had turned to vibrant greenie trees of summer!

Just then, the feminine smug voice of May sounded in his mind.

"This is the power of my treasure; I was able to create a domain of my own magic which could last forever."
