3 Difficulties.

'This will work out' With shadow minions it will be easier to get stronger, and with now possible magic, I will just skyrocket in power, saying this but I'm not that strong yet, it had been 2 days after the fight, I've doing good, I drink the shiny water that now I know that it has mana essence in it, it seems that my race helps me in surviving drinking this.

I found a easy region in the forest with some rabbits and I'm living here, but it seems that the mana rich water keeps my hunger away, I still didn't got into another fight, but I plan to, can't just keep living on top of trees as I just discovered that there are some monkey monster swinging from tree to tree ready to eat some fresh 10 year old flesh in his sleep.

Just saying that it is indeed easy to climb trees, with a dagger at least, and when I'm above a tree I just see more trees, and this is a shiny forest, really magical with mana wandering everywhere, from what I got, everyplace in this world has mana, of course, with exceptions, but this forest is really rich in this mystical energy.

Something that I discovered is that even if the system can't measure my stats in numbers or even just explaining what would I be able to do with the said strength, agility, intelligence and such, after killing the wolf I became stronger, at least my senses got better, because now I can actually feel some strange fluctuations in a part of the forest, a dense pressure, probably a strong beast.

Maybe I did leveled up? And apart from that 'strong beast', I can feel another strange distorted mana near this place - 'Not like I'll go there now to explore, want to be strong first!' With a strong conviction, myself was prepared to train!

'After receiving the lore of magic, it seems that I now know about my second power and it is time to hunt!' Getting up from my sleeping position on the branch, I get down from the tree and start walking to a more dangerous place, with stronger monsters.

Not long after searching, I spot brown furred bear, it can be said to be a normal if not for his immense body, even in its four paws on the ground he already reaches 2 meters, if the bear gets straights it'll reach almost 4 and a half meters tall - 'It is fine, myself just need to use my shadow wolf and my shadow armor'.

Thinking about the Shadow Armor, my shadow started to crawl up from my feet to my head, making my body like a black fog, and even my eyes were a darker shade of purple, after this, from my shadow again the wolf emerged.

If somebody saw us like this, they would definitely think we are monsters. Seeing the bear eating some kind of a deer monster - "Wolf, go to the other side, and attack him from behind, I'll wait your attack". And without any delay, he went furtively to the other side of this open field through trees and bushes.

Seeing him there I activated Domain of the Monarch, making my own shadow expand around me reaching till the wolf, making him stronger, but that was not the only consequence. The bear seeing everything getting shaded by something, searched in place for the something. The wolf seeing the target get suspicious ran to the bear aiming his neck from the back.

Just in time to get the attack done, the bear turned around and shoved his elbow into the wolf, making it fly away. The bear already getting up went to the my minion, towering it with its own height. The wolf injured tried to get up, in this action I felt something leaving me, and like so the wolf regenerated in to his perfect state again.

I felt my mana leaving me to keep the wolf alive, knowing this I don't lose time to sprint towards the bear taking my dagger out of my inventory.

Appearing in my hand, I tried to jump and thrust my weapon into his neck - no way I can reach that high, but still I ran and nearing it I went for the attack.

"Wow" I felt faster with my armor, but still - "Sh-" I was sent flying, doing the same movement against the wolf, the bear tackled me away with its elbow, his senses are quite high to sense me in my shadow armor, was it a good idea to attack this monster?

This time the bear didn't stood still, he ran to me ready to smash my body's bones, the bear already sensing the wolf nearing him again decided to ignore my minion, he was ready to sacrifice some blood to kill me - "Shadow Exchange" Just like that I was gone.

The wolf near the bear's back jumped, and so I appeared in his place and at the same time the wolf got smashed in my old place. Not wasting this precious chance, I stabbed in the bear's neck, not just once, but multiple times as the first one didn't even go deep.

However the bear feeling this pain turned around and smashed his back on a nearby tree, making me lose my breath, my grip on my dagger and making me finally falling to the ground - *thud*. The loyal wolf got back up using what is left from my mana pool and leaped to the bear, biting his right side of the ribs.

Angered, the beast used his right claw to take the wolf from his right side and smashed into the ground, making it dissipate and entering my shadow once again defeated. Bleeding he looked at me with what seemed to have - a smug smile.

"I can't die again." I said, looking at the menacing bear covering me from the sun.

I was with a lot of bruises, broken bones, even from my mouth there was blood spilling out, I sent the dagger to my inventory.

In doing so, the place where the dagger was previously, the wound in the neck began to gush out blood, even so the bear didn't stop his steps and I think he would never stop, I don't even think he will die only with this stabs myself did.

But he did get a little dizzy, but yet, I have no mana! I have broken bones, and the adrenaline is cooling down making me feel all this problems in my body - Getting up I throw the dagger at him, my vision too like his probably blurred, but I can't die here, I still have a long way to go.

After receiving this ability, I knew what to do, controlling the dagger that was flying towards the beast's belly, I accelerate the dagger, and so with no time to react, the bear received a deep hole, that not even his tough hide could stop making through the other side. Now splashing blood from 2 wounds, the bear started to get weak, and could not keep himself on his legs.

As he started to fall, I notice that I was in a pickle, his body would smash all my insides if he fell on top of me like the wolf did in my first fight. I rolled to the side trying to escape the death as it was aiming for my life.

*BOOOM* - Making a loud sound and spreading dust everywhere, the bear fell on the shiny grass and bloomed flowers.

And... I am getting unconscious, maybe that last use of mana using my Ruler's Authority made my pool empty of mana.
