2 [First Mission!]

[First Mission: Beginning!

Even if you look weak and the wolf looks menacing don't give up! You're stronger than you look and the wolf even if stronger than you, it is possible to kill it.

Objective: Kill the grey wolf.

Reward: Unbreakable Dagger.

Reward: Get Healed.]

'Thanks?' Still looking at the wolf, I thought about what to do, it seems that even if I'm in a child body, I am indeed strong. But still, it will be a dangerous fight, I don't think a have an advantage in this open space.

Maybe this 'strength' is thanks to being a monarch and I don't even know how strong I'm, but if the system is saying this, I'll believe it, as this is my best shot! As I get optimistic, I start walking back the way I came from, so looking at the wolf I go to my right, entering the shiny forest again, not giving my back to the wolf, afraid that it could take as an opportunity to get attacked.

A little inside the sea of trees, I search for something that can be used as a weapon, in my sight was a lot of branches that can be used as a blunt weapon, but even with my strength I doubt that it will cause a deadly damage to the wolf.

But finally after a tense stare contest I found a branch that has a sharp end, continuing the 'contest' I follow up my steps to the sharp weapon.

Nearing the branch I stop but the wolf still keep going, I try to be slow, crouching and grabbing my hope-to-be-savior, my enemy seeing me grabbing something got frighten and started running towards me and when close enough he did a big leap aiming for my head with his maw - but I was not a dumb to just watch him come for me, taking the branch and thrusting from down to upwards successfully hitting his left side of the neck.

Sadly it's horn went to my left shoulder deep enough that almost reached my shoulder blade.

Apart from the huge amount of blood and whimpering from the wolf, its huge body fell on top of mine, making me fall on the ground with it thrusting the horn even more deep. The wolf not wasting his chance in his final breath used his front paw to scratch my abdomen through my clothes.

"Fuc- urgh" As I reacted to the pain the wolf tried to attack more, but it seems that the last attack was his last try to do something as he fell limp on me.

[You have slain a Ashy Wolf!]

That was anticlimactic, I got lucky and my superior strength didn't even got tested, but well - "System... What about my reward?" Saying as I remove the wolf's corpse and toss it to the side and expecting the 'Get Healed' as I was losing a lot of blood.

[Mission Complete: Beginning!

Objective: Complete (Kill the grey wolf)

Reward: 'Unbreakable Dagger'

Reward: Get Healed.

Hidden Reward: 'Magic for Beginners']

[Unbreakable Dagger:

In the middle of the swarm of enchanted weapons in this fantasy world, this dagger can not be the best, but will remain sharp and new even if you try to break it!]

[Unbreakable Dagger was sent to your inventory!]

[Get Healed:

As the name says, after your first fight you deserve a heal! Lose your fatigue and wounds!]

['Magic for Beginners':

Of course a world of fantasy will not exist without magic, so to help you kick off in this new concept, the system gave you this basic knowledge of magic, as this is your first mission, so you can start your training!]

'Wow' I feel some knowledge pouring down in my soul as I was in a soul state for a long time, and got to say this will help me, as my affinity to the shadow, or darkness is at his highest rank possible, and from what I know now, this is super rare, maybe this can only happened to heros, maybe even to just gods can have the highest affinity to a element.

So I'll have a easy time controlling the said element. Speaking of elements I now know that there is 7 elements, those being the fire, water, earth, wind, spirit, light and darkness. And it seems that apart from the spirit one, the rest is pretty standard if you know what you're expecting from magic world.

About the spirit affinity, it seems that you use it to strengthen your body and reflexes, but the book says that all the elements can do something about reinforcing your own body. It seems that there's more to the spirit affinity than what it is shown.

But enough of that! I learned some things about my own affinity and there is some cool magic I can already do! I mean, I can do if myself take time to train and get good, but it should not be hard as it says that the higher affinity the easier is to learn and manipulate the said element.

Though before that, my next step is to reanimate the wolfs body, as it seems not that strong I don't think I'll be able to name it, so with again steady steps I stop next to the grey wolfs body - 'Hmm, how was it?'

"Emerge!" immediately after saying that, a paw emerges from the body and using the ground it pushes itself out revealing the shadows full body, a wolf made of black fog with blue glowing eyes. The now shadow made wolf appears and uses its front paws to bow to me putting his head down, entering my shadow quickly after - "Huh, cool".
