Vanessa

Moving up to her face, her lips were succulent with the bottom one pouting a bit, her straight pert nose and her big black eyes staring at him with ferocity. Her skin was smooth and light brown in color. Her dark past shoulder length hair was falling over her face. The effect of this combination was beautiful. She was carrying a weird bag on her shoulder and two bigger bags on both hands tightly.

"Who are you" he asked again with more force than before.

Vanessa only saw his lips and his eyes because he was wearing a mask. It made him look even more mysterious and cold. His eyes were startling gray. She admitted it was probably the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen before. His lips were a bit thin but pretty even if it was drawn in a scowl. She almost rolled her eyes but she decided not to antagonize him as she was in a disadvantageous position.

"My name is Vanessa. I think I'm lost", she finally said."could you please tell me where I am because I need to go home". He had always been a perceptive man and his gut instincts always lead him right. His gut was telling him that she was telling the truth and she was not dangerous, so he came down from his horse and stalked towards her.

He was a lot more taller than she was at 5feet6". She guessed maybe 6 feet 2 inches as he towered over her. He didn't smile or say anything, he just looked at her carefully. Suddenly, he cocked his heard to the right as if he heard something. He quickly mounted his horse and said"white rain is coming, find shelter". " What white rain?". He didnt answer and started to move past her. She panicked as he was leaving and shouted"excuse me, please don't leave without at least telling me where i am and what the white rain is all about. I don't know anybody here or even where I can find shelter". She was scared. It was becoming dark too.

Looking at her, he realized she was scared. Her big eyes were wide with fright. He stopped moving and extended his hand for her to climb up behind him while telling her" quickly you have to hide your bags under the root of that big tree as we cannot ride fast while you are hanging on to it. You can come back for it after this wave of white rain has passed". She complied and held on to him as she climbed up. It was her first time on a horse though and she was unsteady as she sat.

The horse moved and she almost fell off only for him to drag her back. She tentatively held on to his waist wrapping her slim arms round him as the horse moved. He turned to look behind them, then urged the horse for go faster. Van had to admit, it would be exhilarating as they flew across the forest if she was not holding on to dear life and fighting the urge to throw up.

They ran for about 20 minutes when he steered them off the path into a clump of bushes. He came down and led the horse with Van on it into a little opening. Van was scared and unstable on the horse. She was having a bout of dizziness but she didn't want to complain so she just lay down on the horse and tried to wrap her hands round its middle. It didn't quite work so she held on to the hair gently.

He looked at her and his lips involuntarily curved into a slight smile at her actions. He was amused as he tried to imagine what she would do if he let the horse move fast on his own. "she would probably scream and faint" He was more than amused at the thought. Truthfully, he had never seen a woman who didn't know how to ride a horse. It was a means of transportation and everybody learns it from childhood as soon as they grow tall enough or old enough.

Van's face was pressed to the body of the horse so she didn't notice his amusement. They entered the opening and she could see the mouth of a cave. He led them inside and moved his hand in a weird manner. The torches round the cave came on immediately. Van guessed it came on because people walked in maybe it had some kind of sensor.
