75 [Chapter 75] The Truth Is Spilled

As we were walking down the hall, someone was acting very rationally in his office.

"Holy fucking shit!" Is heard from behind a door, the secretary is shocked by this as she hurriedly ran into the office, "Executive manager! Are you okay?"

She enters to see a turquoise haired man standing in front of a hologram which is being projected from his table currently. He quickly raises a hand and motions her to go away, showing he is alright. The secretary, although seemingly reluctant, leaves the room and shuts the door behind her soundlessly.

The manager stares at the hologram in disbelief, replaying two scenes over and over again, the massacre, and the hundreds of soldiers have black counterparts crawl out of them. His shock grows with each replay of the video, unable to comprehend what he is witnessing.

327 soldiers? Gone in what felt like an instant. He pulls back his chair and flops down in it, replaying the two scenes over and over again, beginning to analyze them. But after a few replays, he notices something. "During this moment, all of the dead soldiers come back to life, but nothing happens to the ones still alive, which shows he requires a dead body. Wait..." he says as he closes the feed and opens up a circle symbol, suddenly, a bar with a flashing line pops up. "I swear I have seen an ability like his before...."

Suddenly, a book pops up in his view, "Only I Level Up (Solo leveling)." He clicks on it and a description shows up beside an image of the cover while a few things related to it show up at the bottom. He clicks on a button and begins to read when his eyes go wide. "These-these are the same ability!" He says as he pulls up a feed beside the book.

"This is unbelievable, I can't believe this, why is a fictional ability in reality....okay, scratch that, what is an ability like this doing in reality. It should be impossible to resurrect the dead!

Even vampires have a heartbeat, no matter how slow!" He yells as he stares at the screen with a fire in his eyes.

"I need this ability, I need to know how he does it." He yells himself as he walks out the door of his office, the secretary turning to look at him.

"Clear my entire schedule, I am going to look at something." And suddenly, he is gone, as if he was never there. The secretary baffled, quickly regains her cool and immediately starts making changes and edits to many things while calling people at the same time.

After she is finished, she sighs and closes her eyes while rubbing her temples, "What was he in such a hurry for, I never saw him so gun-ho about something." She says as she remembers the fire in his eyes.

Meanwhile, Kurayami is patching up his wounds in their bathroom. I push mana through my suit and watch as it suddenly grows in size until it sags across my body, as if they were always that size. I carefully remove it which in turn shows the many wounds on my body. Immediately, I begin to wrap bandages around my wounds, causing me to look semi mummified. I have tried multiple times to transform back into a human but I always get an error saying I am wounded past %20.

'For now, I need to make sure my body is unseeable, if I showed them what my dragonborn form looked like, they would freak.' I think as I stare at my purple scales, shimmering in the light.

Suddenly, a black box pops up behind me and I take off my two elongated mask halves, causing them to shrink back to their normal look, but still being split. 'What the?' I stare at the two halves and put them under one another, seeing if they will merge and suddenly I watch as the two halves become one, molding together as if it was planned. 'That's interesting...' I think as I put my suit and my mask in my box before it suddenly disappears again. I throw on some regular clothes I brought with me and have my folded scythe in my hand before I cover myself in my shadow armor.

As the door shuts, I walk down the hallway and see Dreag sitting on the couch, a book open in his hands, the two ninjas sitting on each side of the resting Samantha, and Winter looking between the two very quickly, as if she was waiting for a conflict to break out.

She suddenly looks at my shadow form and waves at me with a smile on her face, although a hint of nervousness in it. I nod and sit down beside Dreag, causing him to close his book almost immediately and look at me.

He doesn't even wait a second before asking me one question as he looks me up and down. "How are you able to fight like that? Where did you learn that magic you cast to create the black soldiers? Where did you get the mana for that spell? How are you barely injured? And how did you become a berserker mage, a body mage, and a beast tamer?"

I am baffled at the amount of questions he asks, but I try not to laugh at the fact that the other two look lost. I hold up a finger and look over at Samantha, "Do you have a translator or something we can give to my Orc friend here, I don't want to have to repeat everything I say in two languages."

Samantha thinks for a moment before removing her wrist watch and placing it on the table, and a sound bar pops up, "Say the alphabet of your language and it will use that to automatically translate what you say to English."

I nod and recite the alphabet and when I finish I nod at her. She presses a button on the projection and it suddenly makes a Ping! sound. She turns hands me the watch and says, "Please tell him to rest this on his wrist so it can translate what he says."

I take the watch and immediately put it on Dreag's wrist without saying anything, I watch as it stretches and bends around his wrist. He panics slightly and tries to pull it off but to no avail. His hand begins to glow as he says in English, "What the heck is this thing?!"

Suddenly, he stops as he stares at the device with extreme interest, "What...how am I speaking a foreign language I don't even know so fluently?"

I sigh and explain to him it's like a translator, but a special one which puts him in shock. "Kurayami...this relic could be worth hundreds of gold, being able to speak any language this effortlessly is a game changer. Speaking of, where the heck did you learn to speak this language? It's one I have only seen on old metal ruins."

'So there are other places that could be like this?' I think as just shrug, when you can't come up with anything to say, say nothing.

"Anyway, let's answer their questions first, then I will explain myself." I say as I wave at the two werewolves. Dreag sighs and nods, knowing that I will tell him at some point anyway.

As I was going to ask them a few questions, suddenly, everything goes quiet. Before a loud blaring resounds in my ears making me cover them, trying to get it to stop, but it won't no matter what I try. I fall on the floor holding my ears in agony as I feel as if my head would explode. And I see a window a pop up in front of me.

The slime wakes up and immediately begins rubbing its head against my hands, trying its best to comfort me. Winter immediately stands up and runs over to my curled up figure on the floor, looking around us to see if anything is causing this but sees nothing. Dreag immediately stands up as if he sensed something and gains a fighting stance, staring at the door we walked in, showing whatever it was is more worrying than what is happening to me.
