3 Chapter 3: The Battle Of A Lifetime

Ren walked through the streets on the way to his parents house while talking to Sen. "Hey so Sen what would happened if we got defeated  like what happened to Seryu back there?" Sen would think about the question for a bit before coming to an answer.

"From my knowledge since we were able to end her life her shadow began to disappear because it no longer had a host and couldn't sustain itself. And it seems that we were able to absorb Seryus shadow which allowed us to gain its abilities and heal your wounds. It also gave me a fragment of my memories back." Ren then asked the million dollar question, of what would happen if they were defeated.

Sen stayed silent for a moment before responding. "If we ever happen to be defeated you would survive the encounter as long as your wounds aren't fatal but.....I wouldn't get that treatment I would be separated and killed because I would no longer have a way to stay alive since or he I will  be assimilated and become apart of someone else's shadow." Ren and Sen stay quiet for a minute Ren because he doesn't know how to feel about what Sen just said and Sen because he doesn't know what to say that wouldn't make the situation worse

The two continued walking for a while before they start talking again Ren being the first to say something. "My god why is this taking so long the walk home usually isn't this long. It's like we're in a bad anime and the pacing is slow because the writers have to pad out the episode. Just then another Shadow caster dropped down from a building his was sitting on, his name was Diva Soya. He had the ability to increase his own strength by ten times with his shadow and his shadow could make itself into weapons. 

Ren looks up at him a bit confused as to why he had multiple abilities. "Hey what's your deal!? I thought people like me are only supposed to have one ability." Diva chuckled at this remark before putting up one finger. "I have already defeated one Shadow caster in this area before I got here." He realized that Seryu wasn't around a lightly sighed. "So I see you killed that crazy bitch Seryu good work she scared the hell out of me. But since you were able to beat her you must be pretty strong. But now I have to kill you.

"W-w-Wait! Can't we talk this out instead of." Before he could finish Diva dashed at him and aimed a punch for his gut which Yami wasn't able to dodge which sent him flying back into a nearby car, although most of the damage was sustained by Sen in an effort to protect Rem. As he slowly got up he made Sen transform.Sen grew larger in size now having 6 eyes, a giant jaw and spikes coming out of his back. He looked very similar to what Poyo looked like it looked down at Diva.

 Sen brought its paw up above its head before slamming it down on Diva thinking that was the end of him. Unfortunately for Sen its paw wasn't caught by Diva using one hand.Diva smiled before making Sen topple over before kicking it into a nearby car and finally jumping on top of its side. Diva picked up Ren and tossed it into the ground before turning his attention to ren slowly walking towards him since he was just standing there dumbfounded.

 "God dammit even with Seryu's power I'm still weak. Too weak, why the hell did it have to be me, why the hell do I have this power,why the hell am I being hunted, and why the hell does Sen have to get hurt for protecting me!!!!!" Ren then gained some new found confidence and called called Sen back who looked worse for wear because of the beating it just took.. "Sen I want you to cloak me with yourself." Sen asked why which Ren only responded in a deep almost demonic voice that "It should allow us to teach this son of a bitch why he shouldn't mess with us."

 Sen did as it was told and cloaked Ren with itself but warned him that he could only do it for 10 seconds anymore would kill Ren. Ren nodded before saying "I only need 5." He then got into a runner's pose and dashed at  Diva at blinding speeds landing a punch that knocked him back a bit. '10" They clashed first both getting knocked back by the collision. "9" Ren kicked Diva up into the air before jumping up and kicking him to the ground. "8" Ren was grabbed by Diva and slammed on the ground repeatedly like he was a ragdoll. "7" Ren got out of the grab before punching Diva in the Ribs breaking them. "6" Diva created a sword from his shadow and stabbed Ren  through the stomach with it before tossing him to the ground. "5" Ren grabbed Diva by the leg and knocked him to the ground before getting up and putting his foot in Divas ribs. "4" He readied his hand above Divas heart. "3" He slammed his foot into Divas chest knocking the wind out of him. "2" After catching his breath Divas pitched Ren had in the stomach.

Ren looked down at Diva with his hand pierced and said in a demonic voice. "It was nice meeting you tell Seryu I said hi in hell for me." Ren then yelled out with sen  "Shadoukyasutā shūryō" As he pierced Divas heart killing him before uncloaking himself with Sen absorbing Divas shadows powers and healing his wounds. Though he was almost out of stamina he continued walking towards his parents house. Both him and sen congratulated each other and spiritually fist bumped.
