"Professor, we found the perfect prisoner to experiment on" one of the doctors announced upon my arrival.

The old man around his 70s looked at me under his rounded glasses. "What's your name young man?" He asked looking a little bit concerned.

I just looked at him without saying anything.

The professor threw a bored glance at me and continued talking, "we are medical doctors working towards the salvation of the world and we want you to be a part of human evolution" he patiently waited for me to understand.

I could barely process what the was saying, since, I had a lot running in my mind. one option is that, I would be free from my life imprisonment sentence, if this experiment was going to work and the second option is that, I would become famous for being the key to "human salvation" at least that what they had promised.

I looked around the modern lab trying to calculate my exits or even understand the apparatus laid in front of me on the table.

One female doctor took a huge silver suit case and fished out three different liquids and started mixing the fluids.

A thin sweat started falling from my back as I glanced that the syrage she held and I spoke for the first time " what're you doing to me?" I tried to inquire but no one heard me. "Is this even legal? Don't do this to me please." I pleased as the professor come an injected the now red liquid in me.

Everything was turning blur and my world into darkness as I was pulled into deep calmness. Then the storm started, my body felt hot as my heart beat increased, everyone in the room was panicking now. "It's killing him professor!" The female doctor tried to plead guilty. "Let him die after all he's serving a lifetime sentence " the professor replied. The monitors went silent but I was not dead since I was aware of my environment. My eyes then flew open.

"No way this can't be, you should be dead" said the professor. "But am not" I said as I snapped his neck terminating him. I turned to his team they were all into fear. "Kill then all" a inner voice said and without blinking I obeyed it. The room was in a pool of blood. I exited running to unknown destination. What have I done? I beat myself up. I had actually killed, I was not that good since I was serving a life sentence in prison but I never had killed so many people at once.

I had to leave the premises since the alarm and gone off and the military would be here soon. I headed to the woods with zero knowledge of what was going to happen to me. I just ran, trees seemed to be running against my direction. I had incredibly inhuman speed speed but I just thought it was my Adrenaline kicking in. This all felt like a nightmare.

I was running killing everything that came my way. It was almost dawn when I came into my senses I had to look for a place to hide or spend the day but nowhere was safe for me. A tall buildings came to my view it was a old ruin of a church, it looked abandoned with no evidence of life, I thanked the heavens for the gift. Mama always said that no matter what you had done God always would forgive you, my mistakes were so bad I didn't thing the big man above would waste his time listening to me.

Entering the building I settled on one room and rested for the day. I tried to replay what had happened the previous night, how comes I was alive?, where could I go from here.? Where would I go since on the outside world I was I convicted criminal and the killing of the scientist could never make my life any better.

The scientists had created a devil they had turned me into a monster. "We got this Cliff I will lead the way just trust me" a voice said inside my head but I could not know who had said them to me. Flighted, I looked around trying to look for any intruder around my vicinity.

My heart was running out, "who are you?" I asked out loud, trying not to panic.

"Am here damn head, am in your head and you and I will do great things" the voice said again. I then saw darkness.

I was standing in a dark empty place, the ground was dry with no vegetation or anything that that could be associated with life. The skies were dark no stars the atmosphere looked sad, sadder than my dark soul. "Where am I?" I panicked as fear started to kick in. I tried to walk but I could not move from the place I was standing. I was not alone since I felt something move around me, turning I saw a dark figure, it was tall I could not see it face over the black cloak it was wearing, I was only able to see it ocean blue eyes that looked at me with adoration.

Who are you? I whispered with fear.

"I am karani the only friend you have" it stated. The scientists put me in your system the moment they put that blood in you, I will taking over your body soon Clifford. We will destroy the human civilization, we will make them pay for what the did to me and the way they took your life" it explained

" above all we need to create an army so that we will take over the world, I will make you strong and the most powerful that man ever walked . I will give you all the riches and with me you will achieve true freedom and power, but in return I will reside in your body since I cannot survive alone, do you accept? It finally asked.

At this point fear was consuming me but I needed freedom, money and I had no place go. I agreed to the deal and then I felt pain as the figure turned into mist and entered my mouth.

I quickly opened my eyes looking at my surrounding, then it came to my senses that I was still in the church and the night was falling. I quickly stood up ending to unknown destination but something inside knew where I was going.
