When I awoke I found myself in a beautiful mine; the gems and ores embedded within the walls gave off a mystical glow in the darkness.
Next to my body was a pickaxe and a lantern, however, I didn't know what these where for other then mining the resources that lay in my gaze.
As I tried to recall why I was there my brain began to surge with information and white lines appeared in my sight.

Outside the dungeon, a group of novice adventurers are about to delve into the Gnoll Mines, along with their instructor.
"Hey guys let's hurry up it's getting dark soon and you know that the monster get a darkness boost!!" Said a young girl with red hair wielding a spear.
"I know they get a darkness boost, and that's the exact reason why I've decided on use going in now, if you survive the night your school ranks will rise greatly and so will my pay." Said a tall older gentleman with a short sword, and a shoulder badge that had a book and sword embroidered on it.
"But instructor, the others of our group have a bad feeling, what if something happens?" Said the red head young girl.
"You don't need to fret Mira, and the others shouldn't neither, because I am here and on top of that we aren't going past the first level today, tomorrow though we will go to the second." Said the instructor.
"Mmm ok if instructor says it's safe then I won't complain." Said Mira with a slightly playful tone.
"Very well shall we enter everyone?!" Yelled the instructor in an attempt to raise the moral of the students.

Back in the Mine Spots was leisurely filling up his (Water Pouch), while gazing at the faint glow of the gems and ores in the darkness.
"Mm what a pretty sight, however, I doubt it will last for long."
While Spots was collecting his water and staring at the glow his snout picked up the faint sent of a woman's perfume mixed with a variety of musty odors.
"Ah it seems they are getting closer, they entered at least 10 minutes ago and by the smell there is 7 of them, 2 are female and the rest are male; and one of the males is older then the rest."
"Hmph, an obvious cliche; it seems that this world is really a lot like the anime's and webnovels I mentioned before, so much that my fist encounter will be with a school group."
Spots was able to define the amount and characteristics of the 7 individuals due to his canine like sense of smell, even though his hearing was top grade as well, he wanted to know the current limits of his abilities singularly.
"Mm all I have is a crude rusty dagger that I doubt will inflect any major harm to these humans, and I can cast out the idea of talking with them sense I can feel the bloodlust in the air."
"Not that I wanna talk to them anyways, I'm a monster now, better start acting like it right." Said Spots as his mouth bore a hideous beastly grin.

Back to the group, which where walking casually through the mine.
"So instructor what lives in these caves anyway?" Asked another student.
"Mostly Gnolls, But don't worry they are dumb creatures that only think about mining, some tales say that they where once dwarves, but do to their appearance they where cast out, to forever wonder the mines of the world." Taunted the instructor.
"Wow... they sound ugly, and brutish. Said a blonde hair girl with a short sword and shield.
"Yes Lana, they are disgusting creatures but to don't fear, there are all these young men to protect you, haha." Said the instructor with a laugh.
"Hey guys it's opening up, up here." Said a young man at the front of the party.
"Ok, that should be the water source the Gnolls use, if where lucky we can get some of them to come out of their mines, they are very protective of there loot." Said the instructor.
