57 Chapter Fifty Seven

Wang Minglan was staring at Huang Gou Heng with surprise and worry while following him passing the speechless staff who had attempted to stop the teen from walking inside the hall. The only one left behind after being heartlessly abandoned was Assistant Du who was close to having a heart attack from the ridiculous situation. Gou Heng not too fast but not too slowly turns a corner and out of sight from the many eyes looking at him with confusion and wariness. Wang Minglan follows him close by and tried to be discreet to no avail as everywhere they went people would do double takes and then separate themselves from Gou Heng like he was the plague. Seeing their unfriendly glares, before Gou Heng could even enter the main hall Wang Minglan took a deep breath and pulls his friend away by force towards the back garden instead.
