92 Jealousy

Waking up early in the morning, Sora and Mai felt a little reluctant to leave the hotel room because once outside they would no longer be able to behave the same way.

But, since they had no choice to do so, they reluctantly left the room after kissing each other for almost a minute.

Not even being able to hold each other hands outside the room felt a little disappointing but that was what they needed to do.

Going to the airport and then boarding the flight, Sora and Mai were once again given the front most seats which faced the flight attendant to sat opposite to them.

This time however Sora didn't bother trying to flirt with the flight attendant in the least.

With Mai who seemed to be tired resting her head on his shoulder, Sora chose to brag to the flight attendant about Mai instead of trying to flirt with her.

The flight attendant turned out to be a very cool person as well because she pinched her thumb finger and the index finger to make an O while the rest three were straight to say that Mai was beautiful.

Mouthing thank you, Sora smiled happily and closed his eyes until the flight finally touched down back in Tokyo.

Going back home, Sora was instantly surrounded by the women who were confused and shocked from the obvious injury on his face, hand, and leg.

"What the hell happened to you?"

"Are you okay?"

"Why bother travelling when you were so injured?"

"How come you didn't say anything about being injured when I called you?"

Unable to answer even one of the questions due to how quickly the next question arrived, Sora found himself awkwardly standing there until Yuki pulled his inside their room leaving others with no option but to question Mai about what had actually happened.

While Mai told everyone about what had actually happened, Yuki who had a little experience with performing basic first aid quickly bot out the box of various medicines and other items she kept inside her room.

Removing the awkwardly done first aid by Mai who did it for the first time, Yuki quickly changed both the bandage on his hand and the crepe bandage around his ankle.

"Calm down Yuki. This is nothing serious, I'm all right."

"Shut up and lay down. If I knew such a thing would've happened I never would have let you gone on this trip."

Chuckling and hugging the anxious Yuki, Sora said, "I know how much you love me, Yuki. That's why I made sure that nothing bad happened to my body."

"Stop joking the entire time, Sora. I can easily guess that you got into some stupid fight. What would you have done if something bad had happened to you?"

Moving away from his embrace, Yuki applied some aloe vera gel on the bruise on his face and told him to get some rest while she got him an ice pack.

Ignoring those words, Sora stood up and left the room because his leg didn't really hurt so much that he couldn't even walk.

But, while Yuki didn't really think much of this and let him do as he wanted, she didn't allow him to try and have sex during the night like they always did.

Following a two day rest which fell on Saturday and Sunday, Sora went back to school while being lauded as a hero who stepped up and saved Mai.

Hearing all of this, Mai who found Sora walking around the school during lunchtime pulled him aside and said, "Someone has become the talk of the school."

"Yup. All because of saving you."

"In that case, shouldn't you thank me for helping you turn famous?"

Smiling mysteriously, Sora asked, "How do you want me to thank you?"

"I had something which you are very fond of in my mind. It... "

Stopping suddenly, Mai asked Sora to remain silent as she left the room due to having suddenly heard the sound of footsteps approaching them.

"There you are, Ms Mai. The handsome man is here to see you."

Hearing those words, Mai excitedly squealed before running away causing Sora who was left behind to frown deeply as an ugly emotion filled him on the inside.

Not bothering about the fact that the other woman who had spoken, who was most likely a teacher still not having left, Sora left the room and quickly chased after Mai.

Following her whom he never really saw so excited, Sora saw her entering the staff room where there was a tall and handsome man whom he had never seen until now.

That's when she did something which made Sora feel as if his heart had been broken into multiple pieces, Mai who had entered the staff room hugged the man in front of everyone else.

And guessing from the reaction of the other teachers, it looked like they had seen what was happening sometime in the past as well because not even one of them looked surprised in the least.

"They look so beautiful together, don't they? If they weren't... "

Leaving immediately after hearing just the first half of whatever it was that the teacher near him was saying, Sora who never felt like this until now found himself struggling to even breathe.

Quickly moving to the roof, Sora even in this wide-open area felt unable to breathe properly.

With tears filling his eyes, even though Sora knew that he and Mai weren't any kind of an exclusive couple, he couldn't help but feel betrayed and... And jealous of that man.

What did he have that Sora didn't?

Sure he was handsome, tall, and looked successful in life, but Sora didn't lack any one of them.

Well, maybe he wasn't successful due to still being in high school, but.... But.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
