Eileen's flashback

Eileen's flashback

Few weeks had passed since Eileen's Graduation from Hogwart's. She acquired only a few friends when she was in Hogwarts so she decided to go for supper with them in a Muggle restaurant. Eileen was not from a very wealthy family and neither were her friends whose families were of even less financial status than her, so they could not afford the fancy restaurants. Therefore they picked a bar cum restaurant named "Cats Eye". It was a small restaurant on the outskirts of Spinner's end.

They hired a car to take them to the restaurant. It was a bright night and their vehicle shone beneath the moon's radiance. Everyone was either singing or clapping to the beats of the song.

They arrived at their destination at sharp nine p.m.. They searched for a spot to park their car which wasn't such a difficult task for the parking place was mostly empty except for a few vehicles. They parked their car beside a blue bicycle and got down their ride. They walked towards the restaurant.

The restaurant had a run-down look about it and did not have any unique look. There was an old neon board hanging above it that displayed the restaurant's name. The light flickered at a constant interval which cast an uncanny glow over the whole place. A small cardboard board was hanging in the entrance of the door which said, "Happy hours from 9 to 12".

They entered the restaurant and took their seats in the nearly vacant restaurant. All the tables were empty except one in which a man sat sipping some wine and had a half-empty plate of food in front of him. He was sipping the wine dreamily and was staring at Eileen.

Eileen felt his stare at her and turned to look at him. He immediately turned away and stared at his plate. Eileen was flustered. She turned red at her cheeks and sat quietly in her table. No one paid attention to her as they were busy enjoying themselves.

He looked brawny and strong. He had a certain masculinity in him which intrigued Eileen. He was wearing a white shirt with his collar undone and the top two buttons unfastened. He had stubble on his face which many people would have found unattractive but for Eileen he was the perfect man.

The man kept stealing glances at her while sipping his wine. This made Eileen feel wanted and created the sensation of an aroused woman.

The man slowly rose from his seat and walked to the bar where he took a vacant seat. Eileen watched him from her table and sighed. She wanted him and how hard she tried she could not deny it. She looked at her drunk friends who were laughing for nothing. She asked them to excuse her and walked towards the bar as casually as she could. Her friends hardly paid any notice as they were too drunk to do so.

Eileen sat beside him and ordered a virgin mojito. The bartender nodded and turned around to prepare her drink. The man looked at her and gave a small smile. Eileen returned his smile. He then turned towards the bartender and started talking.

Eileen was frustrated by all this. She wanted him but she had no idea about his feelings. She thought of using a love potion but she did not have any and she could not make it at the moment for her womanly desires were too high. She decided to confront him.

" Hey." She said lightly. He turned towards her and smiled.

"Hey." He answered. He was looking at her from top to bottom. Eileen could sense it and smiled within herself. She was too tired for any other formalities and he was too intoxicated to think, so they kissed. It was a long passionate kiss and their lips refused to leave contact. He took her to his car from the back door where they lied together for a long time. Their bodies linked as if they were crafted for each other. They were like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. It was a long time until the end. At last, they both sat together with Eileen's head resting on his shoulder. They quickly covered themselves as it was getting cold from the midnight dew.

"I am Tobias." He said to her stiffly as he stared out of the window which was rolled down for some fresh air.

She laughed loudly at this, she did not know why but she did. Tobias looked at her amused.

"Well, I did not know my name was that funny," Tobias said amusedly. He looked her with raised eyebrows.

This only made her laugh louder.

"No, it was just that....Wasn't it a bit awkward time to say who you are." She said between her laughter. She rubbed her tears which rolled down her cheeks due to laughter.

The situation dawned on him. He also started smiling. She was happy, he was happy, everything seemed to be happy.

'The night went just perfect' Eileen thought.

As they were lying on the backseat of the car, Eileen heard the sound of her friends' laughter. She quickly dressed up and jumped out of the car. Tobias did not show any hurry to dress up and took his own time. Before Eileen went she decided to write down his address. She then ran behind her friends to join them. She quietly started walking behind them and hoped that no one would have noticed her absence and fortunately no one did. Everyone was too drunk to notice.

Eileen then sat on the driver's seat for she was the only person who was not drunk and was in a condition to drive. Just like the former journey Eileen did not talk much and drove quietly thinking about Tobias.

She dropped off everyone at their address and then finally went to her own home. It was an hour past midnight and her parents were asleep. She twisted the knob of the main door but the door was locked. She did not wish to disturb her parents so she took out her wand and pointed it towards the door.

"Alohomora," She chanted in a low voice. The door was unlocked and she quietly slipped inside and looked outside to make sure no one saw her doing it.

She then closed the door lightly and locked it. She then tiptoed to her room which was upstairs and she lied down on her bed. It was a tiring day but she was too excited to sleep. She could not forget those intimate moments with Tobias. It was not her first time but still, she could not forget it. She was dying to meet him again and hold him. It was a desire too strong to be called a one-night fling.

She knew that he was the one she wanted to spend her life with and she could have gone any limits to make him her own. After some time her eyes became too heavy to keep open and she fell asleep promising herself to meet him again.
