3 Chapter Three: A Journey Has Started Part II

"No." the stern answer felt like a slap in the face.

"But Appa.. this is my dream.." the young boy said and plead in front of his father to join a dance battle.

"you're just confused, son. that dream of yours won't make you successful." his father said and continued reading his favorite book.

He tried to make another reason but he couldn't find one so he decided to go back to his room and cry it out.

He locked his door and slumped his body on his bed and cry out all of his sadness.

"he will never support me. nothing new." he cried.

"Dancing is my dream..." he whispered softly.

He faced the ceiling and spread out his arms and legs and heaved a deep sigh.

"What should I do..I wanna prove to him that my dream will make me successful."

He stood up and grabbed his favorite shoes and sneaked out of his room. His father isn't in the living room anymore and he decided that this is the best opportunity for him to sneak out of the house.

He was about to go out when he suddenly heard his name being called by non other than his 'Noona'.

"Hoseok-ah, where are you going?" she called.

He gulped and slowly faced her, "To the cafeteria n-nearby.." he excused.

His sister thought about what he said and laughed. "That's a good lie, bro but you do know we don't have a cafeteria n-nearby." she playfully stuttered just the way how he stuttered a while ago.

"Noona, please don't tell Appa.." he cried and plead, hoping that his sister won't oppose.

She smiled, "I won't. You're always passionate about your dream of becoming a dancer someday and I won't stop you from that. Now go and win that competition that you're gonna join into."

He nodded fastly and smiled back, "I love you, Noona." he said and hugged her before closing the door and ran fast to catch up with the competition.

It's not too late to follow your dream..

"You're doing good, Jimin-ah! That's amazing!" the dance teacher clapped out of joy while seeing the wonderful job of the young boy.

"Really teacher? I'm doing great?" he charmingly asked.

The teacher nodded, "Yes. Now I want to give you something." she showed a small, blue envelope.

Jimin's eyes widened, "What's that teacher?" he curiously asked.

"See it for yourself..oh but not here. You can go open it when you get home as for now, you need to attend your next subject. Your teacher might get mad at you." She said.

He nodded and ran out of the room to proceed to his next class.

The next subject might not be one of his favorites but he believed that if you want to learn, you gotta learn hard and believe that you will pass and that you will be able to do it.

Jimin opened the room's door and realize that the teacher isn't there yet so he quietly sat down on his chair and waited for his next teacher.

When the teacher arrived, they all greeted her and bowed. Jimin listened carefully to the lesson and was careful not to miss any part of the formulas. Jimin was listening carefully and he listed out all of the formulas.

The teacher decided to give a short quiz to test everyone if they really learned something.

Jimin smiled to himself when he realized that the quiz isn't that hard. He answered the equations properly and passed it in front.

The bell rang and it means it's time for dismissal. Jimin fixed all of his things and skipped out of the room happily.

He was clutching the envelope and he surely can't wait to open it once he gets home.

As soon as he arrived, he placed down his backpack and greeted his parents. They all responded to him and he noticed the envelope that he was holding.

"What's that, Jimin-ah?" his mother asked.

Jimin smiled and looked at the envelope, "I'm about to know what's inside this."

He slowly opened the envelope and he noticed a folded paper inside it.

"Hmm.." he started. As soon as he unfolded the paper, his eyes widened from what we written in it.

It was an invitation for an audition that'll change his life.
