6 Chapter Six: A Journey Has Started Part V

Another phone call woke the young kid and his parents. They keep receiving phone calls nonstop wanting their son to be a trainee of their company to become an idol someday.

"Hello?" the mother answered despite being sleepy.

"Good morning, Mrs. Jeon! This is Bighit Entertainment, we heard about your son's angelic voice from an audition. We would like to inform you that we will have an audition in our company and is gonna debut a boy group." the woman on the other line said.

"An audition? We'll think about it." his mother answered and ended the call.

"What's that, Eomma?" the fifteen-year-old kid asked.

His mother sighed, "Another audition." she said and stood up to prepare their breakfast.

"Another one? But there are a lot of companies that are calling me to be one of their trainees.. should I give it a try to this one?" he asks and blinked his doe eyes.

His mother smiled and hugged him, "My talented son, it's all up to you." she kissed his forehead and went out of the room and head towards the kitchen.

The young boy sighed and began to think about it.

While the family is having their breakfast, his mother suddenly brought up the thing about the audition.

"Oh. that's great son." his father complimented.

"So are you gonna go for it?" his older brother asked.

He shrugged and sighed, "I don't know.."

Moments later, the phone began ringing again and he immediately answered it.

"H-hello..?" he stammered.

"Good morning, this is from Bighit Entertainment, the company that called earlier. Are you Jeon Jungkook?" the other line answered.

He doesn't know what to answer knowing that it was his mother that answers the call all the time. He began shaking and got nervous.

"Y-yes.." he couldn't stop himself from stammering.

"Oh good! I would like to ask if you're gonna sign up for an audition?"

He remembered a while ago when he was thinking about the audition and he already made his decision, "Yes." he replied.

"Oh, wonderful! See you at the audition. Goodbye." the other line said and ended the call.

He sat on the chair and rethinks his decision. Will this be the perfect company for him to join? To be honest, he doesn't really know. He's too young to make decisions for himself but his mother told him that it's his choice of what company he'll join.

Besides, he's still going to audition for this company and he doesn't know if he'll get accepted or not.

He just wants to do something that doesn't involve school and mathematics except physical education, his all-time favorite.

Will this be the right company for him?
