4 Chapter Four: A Journey Has Started Part III

The pretty boy was walking towards the bus stop when suddenly a woman wearing a uniform that he was not familiar with poked his arm.

He looked at her questioningly, "May I help you ma'am?" He politely asked.

the woman gave him a paper with some written words in it, "Become one of our upcoming boy groups to debut, kid, you're perfect for our visual. You're very handsome."

He thanked the woman and accepted the paper and continued walking to where he was heading.

He looked at the paper and shrugged his shoulders, "Must've been some kind of scam or something." He just folded the paper and put it inside his pocket.

He was about to greet his mother when he realized that she was talking with their neighbors. He didn't mean to eavesdrop but he suddenly heard what they were talking about.

"My son got accepted on one of the amazing universities! Great isn't it!" One of their neighbors said.

"Oh! that's daebak! My son successfully became a doctor." the other said.

His mother was just there, listening to their conversations and nodding her head when she has to.

He wanted to tell her that "Mom! Someone scouted me to debut as an idol." But for him it's not something that would amaze everyone even his mother.

He sighed and walked back to where he came from. He wanted to get lost for a bit, he might find something, something that will make his mother proud of him.

While he was walking, he noticed a building with a pasted tarpaulin on the wall.

He began to read it, "Do you want to become an idol?.. Wait..do I? Audtions are open for males only ranging from ages 15 and above..hmm, should I give it a try? But I can't sing, hell I can't even rap."

He sighed and was about to walk away when he was called by one of the workers.

'not again..' he said to himself and sighed. He smiled and turned to the worker.

"Yes Ma'am?" He politely said.

"I'm Adora. A music producer. Can you sing? Your normal voice sounds okay." She said and gave him a small card. "Here, I work at Bighit Entertainment. If you think that I might be scamming you. This building over here is the company that I work for. Hope you'll show up at the audtions, I'll be one of the judges." She added and went away.

Jin stared at the card and sighed, "I've been scouted twice for today. Guess it's really meant for me to sign up an audition. I should give it a try."

Little did he know that this audtion will change his life and will someday make his mom more than proud that she already is.
