24 Galand pays a visit

General POV

Currently, the Ten Commandments were looking at a deep, dark hole that spanned an entire kingdom.

"What happened here? I don't think such a thing can appear like that." Dereire frowned, seeing such a massive crater.

Monspeet looked at Ender for information. The demon should know something like this.

"Ender, you lived the longest so can you tell us what happened here."

Ender looked down and examined the whole. His memories of that time were a bit cloudy, but he could remember Escanor evaporating the vampire king.

"Hmm, a large hole, made by strong magic power. Where do I remember this?"

Ender rubbed his head before snipping his fingers.

"Ah, I remember. It was Meliodas who did that. The reason for this is that a few years ago, vampires were spotted at this location. Meliodas came here and you see what happened, although I don't really know how he did it. Bottom line, he did it."

Ender could see Zeldris glaring to have a later chat with the demon. It was probably about a certain someone.

'I know that this is a lie. It was Escanor that went a bit overboard.'

"Ender for your good deeds I will place you under my command. You have done great," said Zeldris, making the demon grin.

"Now go and revive the albions. We will rest for a while to regain strength.

"I will fulfill your wish."

Ender glanced at Melascula, but he knew he could not go to her and embrace her with so many witnesses.

On the outside, both of them were just demons, and love, even between the same race, was prohibited and punished by death.

While Ender's commandment made him immune to any kind of attack, it proved to be useless when fighting for someone.

The Commandment of Cowardice was truly a selfish power. As long as you stayed away from trouble, you'd be invisible, but if you try to help someone it becomes useless.

Following Zeldris' command, Ender teleported to Camelot. His darkness spread out so everyone knew he was there.

"Ah, I can't wait to end this so I can be with Melascula."

Taking the megaphone out, the demon spoke.

"What's up, King of Camelot and citizens! I am the ambassador of the demon clan and, as a greeting, I have brought you a gift from them to show off their almighty power. Please welcome everyone, my good old friend, the Albion."

A giant monster appeared and seeing it standing, Ender teleported to the Fairy King Forest.

"What a nice day, my magical friends," Ender greeted the inhabitants in front of him.

Ender rolled his eyes because every greeting he had resulted in him getting attacked. This time with Chastifole to the chest only for the spear to bounce back.

From their time together, he should know that it was useless.

"Harlequin, to what do I own this move of hostility? I did nothing to you and you attack me?" asked Ender.

King glared at the demon.

"You betrayed us, Ender! I thought we were friends, and you used it to let the demon clan come back."

Ender could see that there wasn't much to do. He could talk much, but sometimes there were occasions where talking would prove to be counterproductive.

"I am sorry, but I have to do it. For the love."

Ender teleported inside the Forest as he met two familiar faces.

"Long time no see, Gerheade. Hello again, Ban," the Enderman greeted the two with the old fairy smiling at him.

"It is good to see you again, Ender. I am to assume that you did not come with good intentions?"

Ban looked at her.

"What do you mean?" asked Ban, only to receive a hit on his head by a stick.

"Fool, I have known Ender for over 3000 years. I can see if he comes to the forest by himself or they command him to come here."

She turned to Ender.

"The demon clan sent you here, am I right?"

Ender did not look into her eyes, confirming her theory.

"I am sorry, but orders are orders. Well, look at the bright side. You need to grow strong or the demons will kill you all. This one will be a reminder for you and Harlequin to grow stronger or you will all die. Face the Albion and come out victorious."

Before Ender teleported back, he went to Ban and whispered in his ears.

"I told you not to listen to the horn, and you did. As thanks, I will grant you your wish. It will probably not be the one you wanted, but I know how it feels to lose the one you love. I will revive Elaine in due time. I promise."

Raising the second Albion, Ender teleported back to the other demons.

"All done, Zeldris-sama. Unfortunately, the degradation hit hard, and I could only revive two Albions. Though, I have to say that they will not stand that long."

No demon commented until one of them moved. Galand cracked his neck before addressing the demon.

"And why do you think so, Ender? Please tell me The Truth."

The moment his words left his mouth Ender felt Galand's commandment counting his body and waiting to see if he lied. Yet not even this commandment was strong, so it was nullified.

"You know I could lie and nothing would happen, right?"

Galand laughed.

"And what would that give you? We have known each other for so long, Ender. Come please, I beg you to tell me."

Ender sighed. Galand was annoying.

"Because the first is next to Meliodas and the other one is in the Fairy King Forest. Although the current King of the Fairies is rather weak, he can grow stronger."

Ender turned to Gloxinia, coughed slightly, and apologized.

"I did not mean to insult your former race. I am sorry if I did."

Gloxinia yawned, shaking his head, dismissing the words.

"No harm done. Since we are still recovering, why don't you tell us some stories since you have been alive for the past 3000 years? I bet you have done some amazing stuff while walking the planet."

Ender smiled at the help the former fairy king gave him and sat beside Merascula.

"Let me tell you a story."

Unfortunately, Fraudrin interrupted in the middle of the story-time as he felt the Albions getting destroyed.

"All right. Time's up to have some fun," said Galand, standing up.

"Where do you think you are going?" asked Zeldris.

"It's getting boring. Ender's stories are good, but after such a long time of sleeping, I want to stretch. I want to have my muscle memories back. So I am going out."

Galand turned to Ender. "You said that Meliodas fought against one of the Albion?"

Ender nodded, but something told him the smile on Galand's face wasn't nice. More like creepy.

"So in which direction do I have to go?" Gloxinia pointed her tentacle to one side.

"I think he means this direction."

Galand nodded as he moved closer to Ender.

"W-w-what are you doing, Galand?" Ender panicked, not expecting the metallic demon to move towards him.

"Don't you remember the time we first met? You will come with me."

Before Ender could do something, Galand took him over his shoulder. Ender panicked, feeling no resistance from his commandment.

"No, please. Don't do this Galand. You don't have to do it. I can telePOOOOOOOORT!" Ender cried as he remembered the first time he was with Galand as the latter jumped with him.

"LET ME GO YOU STUPID DEMON!" Galand just laughed as he jumped towards Camelot.

Meliodas and the others saw as something fell inside Camelot. As they ran towards the hit point, they saw Galand standing, looking around. Underneath him laid something long and black with his eyes swinging from side to side.

Ender quickly stood up. His eyes gloved in fury as his face almost pressed against the other demon.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT. I SHOULD HAVE TELEPORTED YOU TO PURGATORY. NOW YOU HAVE COMPANY AND I WON'T HELP YOU."

The Enderman looked towards Meliodas.

"I am sorry for the inconvenience, but this idiot wanted to see you again, so here you go," explained Ender before Galand petted Ender on the head and moved him to the side.

"It's all right. You can sit and watch me getting a little workout."

The Enderman just glared at him but waked towards Elizabeth.

"Hi, long time no see."

Elizabeth was quiet. Maybe she was confused by everything going on. She knew Ender was with the enemy now, but she still wanted him to be his friend.

Suddenly Ender enveloped her in a hug.

"Hey, it's all right. I told you and Meliodas that no matter what happens, I will protect you. Even if I have to go against the demon clan."

The fight started between the two demons with Meliodas attacking Galand, but he was no match for him. Even without magic, Galand's brutal force was not to be underestimated. He wasn't even being serious and rather was playing with Meliodas.

Then came Merlin's speech and Ender wondered if Merlin had just forgotten what Galand's Commandment was because she lived for a long time to know. Though his memory was also not the best. Seeing her getting turned into stone, Ender could just sigh in frustration.

Not that she was dead. She would eventually come back and show everyone just how overpowered she was, thanks to her ability. Broken ass ability.

Meliodas tried to use more of his demon mark but even that had no effect and it even enraged Galand seeing just how weak Meliodas became.

Strength was how demons showed others who was the boss. Ender was an exception because many tried to kill him and failed.

Thinking he killed Meliodas, Galand tried to attack the Perfect Cube, but after a few slashes, he shrugged and retrieved.

"Hey, Ender? Why did Galand not ask you to dispel the cube?" asked Arthur, confused, knowing that Ender had the power to do so to which Ende replied when a shrug.

"Even if he asked, I would have said no. Bastard took me with him on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Also, it was Gowther's fault."

Seeing how Meliodas laid the ground, Elizabeth grief while hugging his body.

"Please, Ender, help him."

Ender patted her head as a small smile appeared on his face.

"Everything is all right. He is not dead. Just give him some time."

That was a lie as Ender looked down. He could feel the absence of a pulse. His heart or hearts weren't beating, meaning he was dead. Thought that wasn't a problem.

'He will come back from Purgatory.'
