19 Chapter 19 - The Dream

Wake up in her own room, it was like a normal thing for her.

"I'll back, to reality," She said to herself.

She did her routine: Go to work and went home after work.

There was nothing new for 3 days that had past. Not until she realized who was the one spending rumors about her.

He never thought it was her close friend at work. At first, she hates that girl but then she realized it was not worth it. Instead, she pitted her for a life she chooses.

And finally, she decided to apply to resignation and render 1 month turned over.

"Ah finally I'm gonna be free from this work of mine," She said.

And now she is planning that will she do from now on. After a month she will be jobless. But maybe it was just something she needs a break from stress.

She knows there are many opportunities out there. But she was put into a dilemma; to choose between where she can earn stable but she would hate it or do something money is not a guaranty.

She really wants to manage her own business. Anything will do for her. But her mother advised her to look to something called her niche.

"WTF do I really need a Niche, I can just find any product will do or what if service," she said to her self.

Then she realized that today is the day off of Renze her partner. She knows she loved him so much. She declared it already that he was her soulmate.

The one that understands her the most and the one she can't live without. She was an independent woman but there is a saying even the strongest person needs someone to support them in life.

It was late at night she was still waiting for the arrival of her partner. So she just read her favorite light novel.

While she was reading, she realized that name Martin was sound like to Marvin her favorite main character in her current favorite Light novel.

"Martin was a King and father of Prince Mix, And while Prince Xyl world Martin was the judge that trail him" she wondered.

"Don't tell me in my next dream there will a person will have the same name Martin, Hehe I wonder if is there even had the same name as me ?" she asks herself.

Lost on her thoughts, suddenly she noticed someone is approaching her at her blind spot and touch her feet.

"Ahhh!" she involuntarily screams and almost jumps over the bed.

"Hehe" Renze laughs so hard.

"Love you are so bad?" She roared

Renze continued to laugh but when he noticed that Patricia was silent, then he stops laughing and welcome himself to the bed and hugged Patricia from behind.

And Patricia clam down and said " You are so unfair, you know how to make yourself so irresistible"

"Hehe, you can't resist me" He replied.

Both of them was a cute and weird couple. They both respect their own privacy but value trust and honesty in their relationship.

Their choices of spending time together were reading and cuddling in the same bed. They are both silents when there are together in person but loud in calls or video chats.

There are both indoor and outdoor persons but they are thrifty so they only spend more on food then material things.

And if a value of exchange of money was important in terms of survival in this world they are not tempted by money or even motivated to earn them. To them what matters was enjoying the present while preparing for their future family.

"What is our plans for tomorrow? Love?" she asked.

"You have still work tomorrow right?" he asked

"Yes, Hehe I still have 1 month to render service before I'm free from this company" she replied.

"Then we will meet after you work, and we will go for a food trip after" he answered

"Ok love" she replied

Next morning, She was so busy during the hiring process so that someone will fill her position after her resignation will be effective.

She set an interview with the online applicant to set them in an interview.

"Ma'am Pat, Sir Dennis ask if what was the update on the hiring," A middle-aged woman asks.

Her name was Marilyn Brown. She was still 2 months in the company. Patricia had a good impression of this woman.

She had 2 kids, one 8 years old daughter and a baby boy 2 years old. Sometimes both of them talks about the kids and responsibilities of at home.

"Yes Ma'am Mar, I'm done setting the interviews it will be a new week, Monday"

Lunch break

"Ma'am Pat we gonna miss you when you left," Marilyn said.

"Hehe don't worry we have a month to go before my resignation will be effective" She replied

"May I ask, I know you are new here in the company how was it? she asked.

"Well it's not that bad, but I can't stay longer" Marilyn replied.

"Why?" she asked

Then Marilyn explained that she was accepted to a bigger and had a more stable company and she may start by August. She will resign by next month.

The girls' talks whole break. From negative topics related to work to a positive outlook in life. She knows that she loves to talk a lot with other people. But she just seems in a different world of her own that most people thought she is untouchable or unsociable.

To experience as HR sub officer, she already knows that not just the compensation will make an employee stay and loyal to the company; Work environment also mattered a lot.

After work, she decided to go to Oro Supermarket to buy some stuff.

"It's been long since I date myself, but Lovely dovey is here" She declared

So she went window shopping while waiting for Renze to arrived.

She was tried to running around the Supermarket so she decided to read her favorite light novel. So she decided to take a set at the corner of the benches.

Suddenly she felt someone touch her back. She was so startled she jumped at her sit.

"Ahh" she screamed softly

"Hehe" Renze laugh so hard

"Love Love, You are so mean!" she complains

"Hehehe You are so serious when you are reading, You so easy to startled" He replied.

"You already knew I easy startled why you always teasing me?" She replied

"Hehe, you are my cutie potato" He replied.

Renze ignore Patricia complains and just kiss her and hold her hand and ask " Are hungry? where do you want to eat?"

She remained silent. Trying to be mad, but she knows she can't resist her partner. She just wants to tease him.

They are so comfortable towards each other. They sometimes prank each other. What was the best part they had similar hobbies reading or food trip?

" hmm…, I know spicy chicken? " he asked

"No, buffalo wings," she replied

"Ok then, let's go" He answered

They arrived at the restaurant. While waiting for their orders. The cute couple teases each other.

"Do you want spoilers? love?" she asks

The atmosphere around Renze turned gloomy. And frowned while staring at her.

Patricia knows she had more time to read than him, he hates someone to spoil him.

He was so silent and then their food arrives.

"Hehe save by the food, love is so evil," She said

He just smiles and said " I have a recommendation, this novel try to read this"

"Ok, maybe later, Let's eat," she answered.
