1 prologue "Yuna Nadira"

A waft bitter smell of instant coffee filled the tiny apartment, big steps heard along the chapped rusty brown bedroom door, slurping heard from across the tiny room, and the mirror across the table showed the reflection of a woman in her 20's, her ashy brown hair tied to a messy yet kept pony tail, her dark eyes showed a little tiredness just showed the busy life she led in the big ashy town of Jakarta.

Crumpled cream dress shirt with a stain of coffee on the little collar covered the top of her body, a tired smile showed on her face while reaching her hand towards the tiny creature on the cream tiled floor.

"Dani, you better behave for another day, I'm going to work"

The creature purred into the inside of her legs, and ran into the kitchen where a red bowl filled with animal cereal can be seen in the corner of the kitchen sink.

the woman walked to the front door, her worn out leather shoes made noises every time she takes a step into the main busy and ashy city of her beautiful country.

She loves this country, though not including this particular city, she loves the green, the mountains, the aura, and even with her lone personality, the people. Her love was big, and yet she was here, a tired smile shown on her face, matching with her equally tired body riding the subway to her not so lovable work.

She was tired, she felt useless, her depression got worse, her work never goes well, her ashy eyes became droopier as she looked out the bus window in the middle of the crowded bus.

"well, I guess DAY6 were right on point when they wrote that song"

Her hands began to reach her faded leather handbag that was filled with documents and stamps except for the white colored small box that she picked up from it, an air pods. It was a gift she bought for herself on her 25th birthday, the most expensive thing she had in her possession, and the most meaningful.

She placed them in her ears and played "zombie" a song by DAY6, yes, she was a fan of K-pop and still is, her only salvation was music, maybe she liked K-pop not because of their handsome appearances, not because of their dancing, not because of their visuals, but because of their meaningful lyrics and she was satisfied with that, a bitter laugh came as a whisper between her mouth as she closed her tired eyes listening to the melody and words that she herself may not understand.

Her hands moved as the songs played on her ears, the typing sounds played loud around the secluded space of a worn-out office, the sounds of phones ringing included. as the day goes by, her stomach fought the hunger as she skips over the scheduled lunch time.

As the day became dark, her body stretched at the sounds of emails being sent from her computer, her overly tired face showed an oily yet paled face, her dry fingers from the air con showed the opposite.

She steps out to the still busy city from the small secluded office that she had spent most of her time in, comparing it to the big skyscrapers opposite of it really doesn't help, after all she knew that the life of the people inside it, was not that different.

The cold yet stuffy air at night was a blessing to her in this hot polluted city, her eyes focused on the bus stop at the opposite road and the red light indicated her to walk again.

She looked again as the city lights shone bright polluting the lights of stars that are nowhere to be found in this scene, her ears still listening to music.

BTS, a currently worldwide known boyband from south Korea. She loves them with all her heart, from the moment she came to know them they were already rising, it was one of her biggest regrets not to know them sooner, they were always her inspiration, her motivation and her healers from this bitter mess of a world she was in, her greatest wish was to meet them at least once in her life, although she had already expected not able to meet them anymore due to her financial problems and the problems she currently faced in her life.

Yuna quietly stepped her feet off the blue bus that led to her rundown apartment, seeing it made her realized of how much different her life was from them, she was fine with that but not with her current cycle of not going anywhere was, she again smiled bitterly through her ashy dark almost black green eyes, it was ironic it was the only thing that sets her apart from her mother and yet it gave her some sort of relieve that she was different from her.

The only prove that she was as her father's daughter, the father that she never got to know but made her glad, the littering mess on her head subsided as she entered her supposed living quarters, she was greeted by a small calico cat that she picked up called Dani.

The smell of instant coffee filled the apartment once again as she sipped down the coffee she sat at the small brown sofa and picked up her phone.

Reading, it was one of the hobbies she picked up in school, it was her way of escaping reality, escaping the scars that she doesn't want to face, and of course maybe made her grades better than average.

She was never rich, she wasn't able to afford many books that had taken her interests and made do with online books that was free, her escapes were wattpad, novel reading sites and the likes, fanfictions was her way of living since it was the only thing she had besides the many anime and drama that she had watched she opened wattpad to continue reading a novel she had found interesting "soulmate Bonds"

The idea of meeting someone predestined with you was intriguing, it was exciting knowing that there was a person made just for you, a person that is going to love you for who you are and shared everything with you, even your pain and sorrow.

"if I ever had one, would he or she be fine with me?"

A sigh came from her mouth and a bitter laugh came once again

"even if that's the case this world isn't so kind to give me that"

Yuna continued her book scrolling through wattpad for more stories until she fell asleep.
