7 Chapter 7

From Alex:

"Love, I'm on my way there, I'm leaving tomorrow morning, expect my arrival the day after tomorrow. I love you and take care,"

Athena woke up from such a message from her boyfriend Alex, then she received a call from Harith,

"Goodmorning beautiful, are you coming now? I'm at the park you know, just waiting for 'ya," says the sexy voice from the other line,

"Well, I just woke up," 

"Then come on, waiting is killing me,"

"Haha, don't die," she answered joking,

She bounced off her bed and brushed her teeth and washed her face. She changed into her sweat pants and oversized shirt and oversized sweaters. She wore her vans, took her skateboard, and went on. She didn't even bother eating breakfast, it seems that she's changing, she felt free and happy. She stepped on her Skateboard and she went to the park. She arrived and the first person to see was Harith and he came to her to say hi, and to Athena's surprise, she saw Angelica riding Steve's Skateboard, they seem to be having fun, and Harith spoke,

"Now come on, I've been envying them for minutes now,"  

"What's that supposed to mean?"  she asked,

He chuckled and answered, "Nothing," 

Athena stepped on her board and rode for a bit. Right after that, Harith called her to come to him 'cause he's teaching her her first trick. 

"Ok, this trick is called 'Ollie', the first thing you wanna do is your 'pop', you gotta practice your 'pop' first then 'slide' you gotta make sure that the side of your shoe will slide to the grip, now you'll have to practice this motion first then we can go to the real thing"



And just ass Harith instructed her, she practice the motion first. She continued for several hours and Harith decided to see if she can do it, they tried and she was able to do some jumps. I'm laughing inside of me but Athena, she's almost like me when I was a beginner too. She continued and continued. Well, of course, she's never gonna make it without a fall, she did fell several times, she and Harith laughed until she gets it. They continued until she decided to sit down.

"I gotta tell you something very serious,"  she said with a serious face

"Well, let's hear it," he answered her,

"My boyfriend Alex is coming here," and as soon as Harith heard this, he was shocked, he doesn't know what to say, all he knows is that he's angry, jealous, and sad at the same time. He wasn't able to handle it, and so he left again just like what he did last Friday. 

In his mind, he remembered how happy they were the whole week, he thought that they are already having something, he thought that Athena is feeling the same feeling he's feeling for her. But no. This whole week, he forgot that she has a boyfriend, this whole week he was assuming. And now he's leaving again. But this time he's able to tell Steve everything, everything, like his feelings and the thing she told him. But for now, Athena just went back to her place with Angelica. And of course, Angelica is bombarding her with her questions. Athena was able to tell her everything,

"What were you thinking?!" 

"I just told him the truth you know, and it's not like he doesn't know that I have a boyfriend. And also, I'd still continue practicing, but the difference is that have Alex around," Athena answered her like a meek little lamb,

"That's the point! Athena, don't you see?  He's jealous,"  Angelica told her and Athena is in total shock,

"He's what???"  She asked her,

"JEALOUS" she answered her slowly

"That's ridiculous,"  Athena denied, of course, She just can't imagine it, that sweet and sometimes mean Harith is jealous, she just can't picture it. 

"Then what am I gonna do? We still have a rehearsal to go to," Athena asked,

"You better know what's his true feeling for you and choose, Alex or Harith?" Angelica answered,

"You know what, we should go to the rehearsal," trying to swing away from their topic and try to forget about it even for a little bit. She took her violin and went to school.

Meanwhile at Steve's place, 

"So, are you gonna tell me?" Steve asked him worriedly

"Definitely," he answered, and he was able to tell Steve the whole story, even the story from last week.

"Dude, you're definitely jealous, I'm sure,"

"So what if I am? There is a low probability that she'll choose me. I mean look at me, I'm just a guy, a guy who can't even handle his feelings in front of the girl he likes, no, love. I'm too ordinary for her, it's just, I'm just not right," Harith answered him in a 'sad-mad' manner,

"And so what if you are just an ordinary guy? You know what,you've made a pretty bad habit of looking down on yourself. I mean, aren't you the guy who taught her how to skate? What if that's already an extraordinary thing for her? What if she likes you back but something or rather someone is holding her back from admitting?" Steve told Harith and Harith's face brightened up for a bit. And for a few seconds, he stood up,

"What if she chooses Alex? What if I get broken again, huh?" Harith answered him and Steve was only able to say this,

"Then you gotta tell her and confirm it, it's the only way you're gonna have peace of mind," Steve answered him. Quite silly tho, for Harith, it seems like this is the first time that Steve was able to say things with sense.

Back to the studio, Athena was given a piece and she is to practice that, it is called 'Ode to Joy' it is a classical music piece that if you Googled it, it will say,

"A tune about peace; represents the triumph of universal brotherhood against war and desperation," 

But to be honest, Athena already played this piece and the only thing left for her to practice is how she's gonna play it with the whole group. And as for Angelica, she's one of the choirs to sing.

I'm kind of thinking if I should make Harith confess to her in the next chapter, but then I thought of making him do it in a few next chapter... So... nope... Absolutely not in the next chapter. But to be honest,I kinda want to get rid of Alex fast, but.... I wanna keep this lovetriangle going on. HAHA... Expect for the next chapter soon...
