3 Chapter 3
"Dad, I'd like to take college in the US. I could also manage your cosmetics business there, come on dad please," Athena pleaded to her father.
"Yeah dad, don't you think it's good for Athena? I mean, she'd be managing a business there, it would be great for her exposure." Adam also tried to convince their dad.
"You kids are so stubborn, what if something happened to your sister?" he answered worriedly.
"Oh come on dad, it's not like Carson is not going with Athena," Sam answered.
Carson is Athena's trusted butler. The whole family trusts Carson. And that is why Stewart convinced, just one last thing,
"What about your boyfriend Alex?" He asked Athena with a smirk in his face.
Athena turned red just like a tomato, "Dad, we're only dating for three months, and LDR doesn't sound so bad," she answered embarrassed.
They all laughed, and they are now talking about the university she's entering.
Cleveland State University doesn't sound so bad, they're all sure that she'd fit in there, after all, she's a genius. They prepared all the things she'll need, her house, her things, and all her papers. She's very excited but she knows that her excitement would change once she arrives in the US. She knows that she'll miss her dad and her crazy brothers, but she also wanted something new, and she wants a new experience.
She took her last glance to their mansion, the place where she grew up, where she grew up as Athena, the place where her brother taught her how to play the piano, where she used to be a princess. And now she's moving to a strange place that is full of strange things and strange people. Not to mention that she's leaving her boyfriend Alex, they've talked about it already. And Alex reacted angrily at first but he was convinced, he also wants what's best for Athena, and there would be lots of good opportunities waiting for Athena in The US. But for Alex, LDR is quite hard and most of them do not end well. He just hopes that separation is not their end. And that feeling is also felt by Athena. She loves him. She doesn't want to lose him or rather be apart from him. No one wants that to happen but in her case, she's doing a good thing, something to make her better. And so he has to let her go, support her for whatever happens.
She is now on her way to the airport, Carson is driving for her with her brothers in the car. They were talking, laughing, and saying their goodbyes. It was a hard time for the two brothers. They feel sad about Athena leaving but they also don't want Athena to have some sad last moments with them. They are trying to be happy in front of her, to make her happy as well. They want to show her that they fully support her though they want to stop her from going.
At last, they've arrived the airport. Alex was there waiting, to at least see her go. He's holding a cup of bubble tea and wearing casual clothes with a scarf, and beside him is a small paper bag for Athena. They've all met and waiting for Athena's departure. In the meantime, Alex is having a conversation with Athena,
"You take care, ok?" Alex told Athena in a worried tone of voice.
"Of course I will," Athena answered him
"I love you, and I'll miss you," he said
"I love you too Alex, I'll miss you too," she answered and they hugged.
Carson approached Athena,
"Miss, we're leaving," he told her, as soon as Alex heard him, he handed the tiny paper bag to Athena.
"Athena, we'll miss you!" Sam shouted hoping that Athena would hear him. But nothing to worry, she did hear him. Adam is holding back his tears, but not his sad and long face as well as Sam, and of course Stewart, he's feeling the same feeling that he felt the night he lost his wife. It felt like as if she's gone to another world, but the difference is, she'll come back but not soon. He then felt a little bit of sadness, wishing that the situation is the same as his wife, that she'll come back. But no, she won't and that's a sad fact that he already accepted a long time ago.
Meanwhile, Athena is enjoying the view she's seeing from a first-class seat. Then she remembered that Alex gave her something. She took the bag and opened it, the moment she saw it, she's melted. It's a beautiful snow globe, a woman playing her violin is the design. It is so beautiful. She shook it and she smiled. In her head, she's saying that she'll miss him so much.

The plane landed and she's on her way out the airport, while she's walking, she saw a bubble tea store, she bought some, it's one of her most favorite things. She entered the car and Carson drove off to her house. Everything inside the house is already fixed, and she took a quick tour around the house. Until she decided to go inside her room and take a quick nap.
She woke up around 3 pm and she took a quick shower and decided to go shopping with Carson. They drove off to the mall and walked around for a bit then went to a bookstore and bought some school supplies. While she's looking around for pens, a guy suddenly fell in the aisle, it was pretty obvious that the guy was having fun with his friends but the problem is his eyeglass flew off right beside Athena's foot. They looked at each other and felt an awkward vibe in the air. Then Athena went back to her senses and picked up his eyeglass. The guy just took his eyeglass, smiled, and thanked her. Well, Athena's face turned red, is she feeling an embarrassment or something else? That thought lingered around her almost the whole time she's shopping. She then asked Carson to drive back home, it's late already anyway, and she has to go back home for dinner. But the thought of the stranger is still lingering around her, then she asked this to her self, "Will I see him again?" she would like to meet him again, and the reason is simple, she has no friends. She sat down the couch still thinking until her phone rang,
"Hi there Athena, how are you? Are you ok? Did you already ate?" the owner of the voice is Alex,
And in Athena's thoughts, she's asking why would he facetime with her, "Really Alex? I just got home from the mall. What are you so worried about?" she asked him.
"Well, it's better to know how you are doing anyways. Did you ate already?" he asked her again,
"I just said that I've been to the mall," she said wondering
"And?" he asked like as if he knows nothing,
"umm, means no, I haven't eaten yet," she said with a blank face,
"Oh, sure. You should eat ok? No one wants an unhealthy Athena," he tried saying it in a joking way. Athena has no more words to say but in her thoughts, she's laughing hard. Their conversation lasted long until Carson said that dinner's ready. They bid their goodbyes and goodnight.
Meanwhile, Athena's meal is very delicious. Carson cooked her a very well made "Carbonara" and some good "Garlic bread"
She ate well and tomorrow, she'll be checking out her university. And she hopes that she'll have some good time tomorrow.
