Ngayong tapos na kaso. Dinalaw ni Alex- C si Nick sa kanilang tahanan. Napansin ni Alex-C na bilang isang pulis, namuhay rin siya ng simple kasama ang kanyang pamilya.

"How long you're doing this mission?" tanong niya.

"Almost 4 years. I am doing this case because of my brother. He formerly handled this case. But, he got killed." he explained.

"It so nice meeting of you, Agent Thomas Saursmith."

"Hope to see you again. And good luck to you and your partner, Monique. I guess it is about time for you to check her situation."

"What about Monique?" taka ni Alex-C.

"You'd better see her."

At dinalaw nga ni Alex-C si Monique sa apartment niya. Ang sumalubong sa kanya ay ang kapatid ni Monique na si Melinda.

Paliwanag ni Melinda, "Monique is started to become alcoholic since her boyfriend died. When she handled this mission, she got a miscarriage. She didn't know that she is pregnant. She is in the rehabilitation right now. But, she is not yet ready to entertain visitors except her family."

"Oh, I see. I am so sorry about what happened to her. I didn't know about her situation."

"Alex, you really know Monique. She is kinda go – getter and wanted to do best in her job. She doesn't want to tell your boss about her situation. Until my mom got some death threats from Don Gaspar. Don Gaspar found out that she is an FBI agent. She is almost got killed." paliwanag pa ni Melinda.

Hindi makapaniwala si Alex-C sa impormasyon narinig niya kay Melinda. Nalulungkot sya sa naging sitwasyon ng kaibigan at partner niyang si Monique Allison.
