4 years later, after all the commotion that happened, the family of 3 is now peaceful. Tigro, after the birth of his son, who is past his prime showed a youthful performance and still playing at the top level of the J1 League. He won his 3rd MVP last year and cemented his name as a local Legend for the Vissel Kobe. Akaya, now 33 years old, still performs her duty as the Ace of Japan despite the naysayers saying she lost her potential due to her pregnancy and has shown dominancy after she came back. After giving birth to Shai Tigro, she won many individual awards such as MVP, Best Hitter, and Best Server of the V League. This made many people shut up and grumble, the couple proved that their decision is not wrong.

A big household which is located in the city of Kobe now shows a 2m tall man trying to force a toddler to play football. "Come on Shai baby, try football, you know dad is very good at it I'll teach you." said the tall man.

"I don't wanna, I don't like football" said the toddler. Devastated, the man asked why. "The is game is long and I don't get it, I always get sleepy when I watch you Dad" said by toddler while sticking his tongue out.

"Why don't you like football Shai? Daddy always wins and I'm always in the highlight section. Don't you want to show your friends at pre-school what Daddy will teach you?"

"We're still small Daddy, everybody at my school only draws and takes naps, why football?" grumbled by the toddler, Shai now is getting annoyed so he shouted at his mom, "MOOOOOM! Daddy is being weird again"

The man tried to stop the toddler but alas it's too late. *pak* He got a smack in the head which almost made him fall.

"Honey shut the fuck up, you're being obsessed again, how many times is it this week?"

Yeah, this did not just happen once but as soon as his son started to walk, Gerard being the football maniac he is, he tried everything to make his son love football. All of Shai's things are one way or another related to football since birth. And when Shai become aware of his surroundings he did not think much of it but when his dad noticed his disinterest in the sport he tried to play with him and which Shai agreed. His dad was ecstatic with the thought his son is starting to have interest in football, which is true but all it took was one kick to seal football out of Shai's life. Due to his dad being overly excited, he accidentally kicked the football with a lot of power towards Shai's face. And what do you know Shai's nose bled and when Shai notices it, he thought he's gonna die, which after he faints. Well, who is in the right mind to do that against a 3-year-old.

Starting from that day Shai's hate for football took root and football always reminded him of that incident so now he always finds fault in the game which leads his dad to feel despondent about his son's prospects towards football.

"But Honey, he hates football"

"SO? Stop harassing your kid, soon he will hate you if you keep that up"

"*sound of his heart breaking* how hurtful, I just want him to know how amazing it is to play football"

This enraged Akaya at how dumb his husband is "Come on Honey, HE. IS. JUST. 4. YEARS. OLD.! There's still a lot of time if you want him to like football but DON'T YOU DARE FORCE IT ON HIM! GOT IT?!"

"Y-yes Ma'am!" Gerard replied stiffly

Gerard stopped forcing his kid and remember that his wife is not a typical Japanese. She grew up in the Philippines where she got her roughness. Gerard didn't mind it. Actually, he liked it when they were dating but one time he witnessed his wife slapping some pervert in the street and got knocked out. The dude was 180 cm tall and buffed compared to normal standard but both of them were athletes, him being 200cm tall and his wife 185 cm tall. Still, it scared him shitless, it was a casual swing but hooo down he goes. That day he vowed not to test his wife to the limit just to avoid some beating.

Shai, who is now alone, watches the fish in their pond absent-mindedly. He thought "Why does Dad keep forcing football on me? It's boring not like volleyball. When Mom play, it's always full of action and so fast but in football, they just kick around the ball and it's hard to score, so dumb" then an idea hit him which made him grin "What if I watch volleyball and tease Dad I want to play volleyball hehe i bet he'll cry hihihi"

Shai Tigro is now 4 years old, he is living the perfect life. He doesn't have any worries except his Dad and his outbursts. They are rich because both of his parents are top-level athletes in the country, they have a beautiful 2 story home with a lawn and pond, they don't lack food, so pretty much he is very spoiled. Shai is also cute due to his parents being attractive, he has a sharp nose and deep green eyes add to that his brown hair and fair skin, you'll know when you see him that he's gonna make a lot of girls cry when he grows up. He is also popular in school because of his looks and cheerful personality but just like all humans, he is not perfect. Shai is cunning despite his age and his parents don't notice it because his Father tends to be a little bit of a maniac, he likes to play and prank anyone but just at the right amount where you're pissed but not that pissed where you want to smack him in the face.

Shai, now confident in his plans, calls his mom "Mom, I want to watch TV, can I?"

His mom, smiling softly, replied "Sure baby, just get ready dinner will be ready soon"

"Okay Mom, you're the best" beamed Shai

Shai went back inside their home, he found his Dad cooking, probably because he pissed off Mom. Shai opened the TV and changed the channel to ESPN. The TV shows basketball first so he got up and went to his Mom.

"Mom, what are you doing with all the tapes?" curiously asked by Shai

"Hmmm, it's for the game I sprained my finger"

"ew does it hurt?"

Smacking his head, his mom replied "Just a little bit, don't ew me, you'll get used to this if you play volleyball"

Remembering his prank, Shai whispered to his Mom "Mom, I have something to tell you hihi"

Helpless at the cuteness of her son, his mom whispered back "What is it, baby?"

"I want to tease Dad, I will watch volleyball at the TV then say I want to play volleyball"

Shocked at the ingenuity of sin, she laughed then replied "You will make your father cry"

Shai pouting "I know, it's just he always annoys me with football"

His mother sighed, she knows his son is right but it will be too cruel for his fool of a dad "I know baby, but he loves football and just wants to show you that to you because he also loves you"

That made him guilty, he did not think of it like that, he just knows it's hassling him and irritating. Confusedly he asks his mom "I'm sorry Mom, but can I still tease Dad?

Not ready to hear his reply like that, his Mom laughed aloud which caused his Dad to look their way and shook his head "Sure, I will help you baby"

"YEAH, this is my revenge huehue" said Shai evilly while his Mom at his side sighing at what is becoming of his son because of his husband. "Well it's your damn fault your son thinking of revenge at 4 years old, I'll let you suffer a little bit Honey" she thought to herself.

After they ate dinner, the 3 of them goes to the living room to relax before going to bed. Shai, thinking of the prank, sends a signal to his mom which he earned a chuckle.

"Honey let's watch some volleyball, I have a game tomorrow just need to refuel"

"But it's Tokyo Classic today" Gerard protestingly replied

Akaya clapped back "Tokyo Classis my ass, they're at the bottom in the rankings and still a classic?"

Gerard gave up persuading his wife but still grumbled "But it's still Tokyo Classic"

Akaya shot him a look which prompts him to shut up and change the channel to a volleyball match. "It's a men's international match, that fine with you?"

"Yeah, I just need to hype myself up for tomorrow, it's nearing our playoffs and some in our team need some carrying so gotta to pull their weight up"

Exasperated at her wife's response, Gerard just closed his eyes and decided to take a nap.

Shai looks at his Mom fervently, ever since forever he knows his Dad can't beat his Mom, except when it's February don't know why though. Shai watches the match. It is the start of the fifth set between France and Russia and it's also the Championships. He remembers his Mom telling him there is a difference between Championship and a normal game because it decides who is the best. "This might be interesting hehe Dad will surely fall for it"

At first, Shai just watches it but as the set goes by, he looks at someone in the France team with some sparkles in his eyes. That guy always scores a point even if they gave him some bad sets. Shai doesn't know much about the technicality of the game but he knows greatness when he sees one. He's always around someone like that due to her parents and the guy he is seeing on the TV now is just wow for him.

It's a technical timeout, France leading by 8-7, Shai excitedly asks his mom "Mom, who is the one scoring for the blue team?"

His mom taught he is just acting and did not notice anything chuckled "He's Earvin Ngapeth, he sure is racking those points"

"Earving Apeth? What? It's hard to say his name"

Laughing at her cute son "Ngapeth baby, nga, n-g-a"

"Ohhh Ngapeth"

The game resumed after with still Ngapeth scoring from any position, no matter how many guys put them up against him, he always finds a way to score. Shai is becoming more and more enamored by Ngapeth as the end of the game nears.

14-13, the Russians manage to get a scoring run for their team, it is now Ngapeth serving. Unbeknownst to his parents, Shai is balling his fists making his knuckles turn white. He is feeling something that is pressing to him as he watches Ngapeth do his serving routine. Ngapeth tossed the ball, he jumps, he swings, and rip. He didn't give any chance to the receiver by placing it to the right corner of their court. Shai almost jumped up but he knows it's still not finished so he focused on watching the game, making sure not to miss any details. Ngapeth went again with his routine and served but this time it's not an ace, the libero of the Russian Team managed to up that beast of a serve but it's too powerful, it went back to the France Team's court, it's a chance for them to take advantage. The setter sets it up to middle, no it's a fake, it goes to Ngapeth, Ngapeth spikes, it got the blockers and he roars, they are match point now.

By this time Shai is sweating buckets due to the tension, he knows it's almost there. They are gonna be crowned the best if they got this point. He even forgot the reason why he first watched this game. Normally Shai will not have a reaction like this but this is his first time watching men play volleyball, he realized it was more stimulating compared to women because of the speed and power in men and how it's like do or die every point because men can score easily compared to women.

Ngapeth now serves for the match point, he tosses it real high and carefully watches it fall while doing his approach, he jumps. Shai feels this will be an absolute banger and the Russians too, but unexpectedly he just bumps it lightly to their frontcourt. Ngapeth caught the receivers flat-footed and they scrambled to get it. The libero manages to touch it but it kills the momentum, other players try to keep it alive but sadly for them the goddess of victory did not favor them today. The whole French Team went wild and roars.

While nervously watching Ngapeth serve, Shai is feeling restless and when he saw them win the game, he jumps up and roars.

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW WOOOOW WOOOOOOW THEY WON MOM, THEY WON"

This startled both of his parents, waking his father up from his nap.

"MOM I WANT TO BE LIKE HIM, I WANT TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL!"
