1 Prologue:

I ran throughout the forest, seeking some sort of refuge, some sort of haven. A handful of scientists, had captured me to become an experiment when I had healed quickly from the scars, cuts and bruises from my skin.

I had refused to tell them about any information, concerning whether or not I was a werewolf, although they had witnessed that I had a 100% DNA showing that I was a human. They were the ones who were working with the rouges, the same ones who killed my parents.

My heart dropped at the sight that I had saw. They tortured them, took blood samples, gave them drugs to force them into carrying on with their plans, and they killed whoever were useless to them. When they saw my parents as useless, they wanted me. They were amazed that I had human DNA, yet I had the ability to heal faster like werewolves.

They were the real monsters and I needed to stop them. Not like this though, not when I was trapped in a metal cage. I knew I had to get out of here but I didn't know how. How could I as a thirteen year old get out of this kind of situation?

I was tortured everytime I refused to give them any information to about my pack. I couldn't risk their safety anymore so I kept quiet and I would do it over and over again.

"What's the coordinates of her pack?" I strained my ears to hear what they were saying.

"Longitude 53° W and 147° S... It's located in a forest..." I held my breath, frightened of how they got the information and where they were hidden. I swear, they always kept hidden ever since my father and godfather were kids.

"Stay here, watch the girl she might escape... I'll go with the others..." My breathing started to speed up, as I panicked.

I prayed for the Moon Goddess to get me out here and quick, knowing that if I was late, the pack that I love will shatter. I had to do something.

What happened next, felt like a dream. The man who was supposed to look after me had a knife through his throat as he choked on his own blood. I reached out to grab the keys to open my cell, freeing most rouges that were weakened from the silver drug.

"Micah, hurry we have to go!" I whispered out loud to him. He got out of his cell with speed and helped me with other rouges.

Micah, had been my company ever since I was captured, he was like another Justin which made my heart ache. Oh, Justin and Amber... I had to remind myself that I was doing this for them, for everyone.

We rushed everyone to a corridor that had a couple of guards. Adrenaline was pumping through my veins, feeling angry and the need to hurry out of here.

I stepped out, ready to challenge them.

One, laughed at me as if he were expecting someone else so I did what any girl would do. I kicked him in the nutsack, making him crumble down to the ground and grabbed a handful of his hair pulling it to block a punch that was heading at me. It hit the poor guy in the eye, knocking him out and I released his hair to hear a thump on the ground. The guy that threw the punch looked surprised, shocked even. I glared at him with so much hate.

"Please- Look I-I'll help you get out!" He pleaded, lifting his hands in surrender. I cocked my head to the side, to see if he was lying but he wasn't. He gave me his card and a map to help us escape.

I nodded to Micah and the others to be prepared, and I turned away from the guy. He breathed in relief, making me stop. I roundhouse kicked him, making him pass out. Micah looked at me, his eyebrows lifted, as if saying 'holy shit'. I shrugged it off and we headed out.

"So, I guess this means goodbye?–" he held up a finger indicating me to shut up.

"This isn't a goodbye Rens, it's just another chapter in our life, not the epilogue..." I chuckled at his comparison, tears begging to come out.

"Come here," he says in a gentle voice, opening his arms wide open for me to hug him.

"Thank you, for saving them... I will miss you, so goddamn much... Just remember what I taught you, okay?" I nodded, not trusting myself to say anything.

He pulled away, holding my face with his hands, "Just remember that if you need anything, then you know where to find me got that?" He said in a stern, soft voice.

"Okay," I whispered.

"I love you..." He whispered, forcing the tears to stay in his eyes, as he kissed my forehead.

"Love you, too..." I replied.

I continued my journey alone, keeping in mind that the scientists might be close.

There in a camping site, I saw the head scientists out of a tent talking to one of his companions. All I ever knew was that I wasn't going to let them live.
