"Are you okay, A-Yuan?"

A soft voice rang in Xiao Xing's ear as a lullaby sang for a baby by his mother. His heartbeats increased and it became heavy even to take a single breath. His mind heard the echoes of that sound calling him A-Yuan again and again.

The fragments of his memory showed a very vague but touching memoir of a different time just like he used to see a few things in his wild dreams that came in the wee hours of the morning.

What was happening with Xiao Xing?

"Why? Other than his face his voice is also feeling so familiar like I have heard him calling me like thousands of times. Have I met him before somewhere but that is just not possi?le. My name is Xing, not Yuan."

Xiao Xing's thought process was immediately thwarted when he heard another voice that was mocking Xie Jayden, he looked at the chocolate orbs and lost himself again, his eyes fluttering everywhere.

"Jay gege, we should ask you if you are okay or not? It was you who fell on the floor not otherwise. Aren't you hurt somewhere?"

Mo Lin asked Xie Jayden without realizing what effect it was going to do on Xiao Xing's mind,

"Isn't it the truth that he should ask Xie Jayden if he is hurt or not? Why is Xie Jayden asking me if I am okay or not? Does he care for me?" He thought and again locked his eyes on Xie Jayden's chocolate orbs.

"But stop thinking, Xing. Xie Jayden is asking Mo Yuan whether he is okay or not, not Xiao Xing. It's not you who he is asking about. Rein your thinking horses right here and be the Mo Yuan first, it is your first task to do." He scolded himself in his mind and taking a grab of his heart opened his lips to speak.

"Are you all right, Xie Jayden? Are you hurt somewhere?"

He asked, looking directly into Xie Jayden's eyes, in Mo Yuan's passive voice, that he had trained for many days.

"A-Yuan, I am all right….but are you not injured..."

And bang…

Ba-dum...Ba-dum...Ba-dum…

Xiao Xing's heart started to beat like big drums in his ears. His ears turned red, that colour spread all over his cheeks. He looked down hearing Xie Jayden but then Xie Jayden's voice got interrupted by the new voice whose owner just entered the house with a lot of new joy and excitement of the environment.

"A-Yuan, please tell Xie Jayden that you are perfectly alright, otherwise, it will get hard for Mr Xie to take a breath."

The voice said mockingly and everyone present at the table looked at the source of the voice,

"Zhang Kai, Why are you speaking nonsense? Is this the way you should talk?"

Xie Jayden said in fable anger, looking directly at his business partner.

Apart from his business partner, Zhang Kai was also a very close friend that knew all his secrets. A secret keeper that was more than heart to him.

Zhang Kai was Xie Jayden's father's best friend and business partner's son. Who became the best friend of Xie's best friend too. Right after their birth Zhang Kai and Xie Jayden met day and night with each other, soon Mo Yuan joined the gang and the rest was history. Zhang Kai and Xie Jayden were schoolmates, college mates and then business partners just like their fathers.

"Zhang Kai, sweet child you came, that's great. Come and sit with us for lunch. It's really good you must drop by sometimes. You know how it has become difficult for this old lady to deplete her days without you kids."

The said words immediately pricked Xiao Xing's mind. Xie Jayden loves Mo Yuan so much, those words stabbed his heart like a knife. Xie Jayden cares for Mo Yuan so much. Even if Xiao Xing fell on Xie Jayden's body he only thought about Mo Yuan's safety.

Xiao Xing's thoughts haven't left his side for the whole time knowing it was useless to think about anything now. He got to know the truth from the first he signed the contract. He said it was very clear that he can't fall in love with Xie Jayden and his heart broke at first sight.

Xiao Xing fell in love with Xie Jayden at first sight.

Though Xiao Xing sat near his grandma, his mind remained in the thought of Mo Nuwa's words that she said sometime before. His whole heart blade but he sat passively without letting anyone know what he was thinking.

When everyone around sat at the table maids served everyone on the table. The menu was specially dedicated to Mo Yuan as he came back after a long time.

"Grandma, everything is of Yuan gege's choice. Why? Have you forgotten about me?"

Mo Lin said with little mockery on their face,

"Yes, everything is of my Yuan's choice. He came back home after a long time. How can I not make anything special for him?"

"Granny, it is not anything but everything is Mo Yuan's choice. What is left for us to eat."

Zhang Kai interfere in between,

"Then why don't you go home and eat what you want, Zhang Kai?"

Xie Jayden said to his best friend without giving him any thought,

"Oh my god, just see that now. Mo Yuan has just arrived and people are already starting to throw me out of the house. Aye, can you see someone once used to call me his best friend but now he wants me to go away just because someone so special came back to his life?"

When Zhang Kai answered Xie Jayden in his style everyone started to giggle other than the two people who were at his target. The crimson roused around both of their faces like that colour got poured on both of their faces. The colour rose on their faces because one was out of love and the other was out of falling in love with the wrong person at first sight.

"Are you that desperate to get kicked out of the house, Zhang Kai?"

Anger was all that was sounded in Xie Jayden's voice when Zhang Kai stopped his antics to play and everyone around followed suit.
