45 What if he thinks I am dirty?

Yan Xuan's face turned black in anger. His eyes were menacing as if they would kill the culprit with just a single gaze.

He was listening to Mo Hua's every single word which pierced his heart every time.

She was sobbing beside him while recounting all the incidents of domestic violence and abuse she faced from Wang Xin.

Yan Xuan tightened his fist in immense anger when he heard her mention about the molestation and almost getting a raped incident.

"That son of a b*tch... I am going to hunt him down and beat the sh*t out of him till succumb to death dare he….." Yan Xuan expressed his anger. He was boiling in anger.

Seeing him seething in anger, she felt good as well as relieved.

She felt good because of the care she saw in his eyes towards her and relieved because she felt the burden getting lifted from her heart.

But suddenly another worry enveloped her heart.

'What if he doesn't want to be with me anymore?'

'What if he thinks I am dirty?'

'What if everything between us changes after today?'

'What if…'

"Stop overthinking" Cold voice echoed in her ears, "I know you have a habit to let your thoughts run haywire. They are as wild as wild cats so tame them soon else I will find out my way to control them. Hmm?"

He said forebodingly while caressing her face with a tender gaze.

"Whatever happened was not your fault. Or maybe it was…"

Mo Hua looked at him confusingly.

"You let him bully you. You didn't protest but suffered till it almost cost you your life." Yan Xuan replied to her questioning gaze.

"I know. Only if I was a bit strong at that time…" It was the greatest regret in her life which she can never erase no matter what.

Looking at her forlorn expression, Yan Xuan's heart melted. He pecked her lips and said,

"Sweetie, nothing will change between us. In fact, from now on I will be more attentive and caring towards you. I can't wipe out the past nor its memories but I will try to keep you happy for the rest of your life."

He then again kissed her forehead and said, "And don't get irritated if I get overprotective. I am going to dote on you as if there is no tomorrow and will be there in every step of your life no matter what. Bear with me. Hmmm?"

With that, a smile formed on Mo Hua's distraught face. Her face was brimming with happiness. She leaned for and initiated a kiss.

His lips were pressed with warm luscious lips. Fruity flavor spread ion his mouth sending him in a world of passion.

'Is it her lip balm? Or is it her natural taste?' He was thinking but then he felt the kiss getting intense and he groaned, 'ugggh! who cares what it is.. only thing matters is I am addicted to it…'

With that, he deepened the kiss and tried to invade her mouth with his tongue.

Mo Hua understood his intentions and clenched her teeth not letting him enter.

He saw through her mind and laughed, "You little fox. You initiated this intense kiss. Now when I am fully immersed in it, you want to tease me and break this kiss. No way.." with that he pressed his lips again and without giving her a chance to think, his tongue entered her mouth exploring every corner, devouring her mouth.

After a long long time, when Mo Hua was almost on the edge to collapse in his arms, he let her lips go. The kiss was so passionate as if he had sucked the soul out of her body.

Her lips were swollen and there was a stinging sensation when she tenderly touched her lips.

"Monster…" she said with a displeased voice.

Yan Xuan let out a hearty laugh looking at her childish behavior. She looked too cute when angry. Just like a wild cat.

"Is there anything you want to talk about?" Yan Xuan raised his eyebrows in hope that she understands the hidden meaning.

"Are you referring to Deng Tia?" Mo Hua asked looking at him in confusion.

"Hmm. What's up with you guys? She is my childhood friend and nothing more than that. So please don't feel hesitant to let me know if she bullies you in the future. Hmm?"

"Hmm. Okay." Mo Hua said, "Actually she was Chen Liam's girlfriend back then when he was in States. Chen Liam was visiting his parent in the summer break and Deng Tia accompanied him. Liam was busy with his father's business work for a few days and I had to help her settle down in an unknown city. That day coincidentally I found her having an affair with someone. That person had followed her and they were staying in the same room."

She inhaled deeply as if trying to shrug the bad memories and continued, "I warned Liam but he decided to trust her rather than me. Our friendship ended that day and recently I got to know that Liam caught her red hand with some boy having sex in the library. He was the same boy whom I had mentioned so now he regrets and feels guilty towards me."

Mo Hua smirked and continue, "Ironic thing is that Deng Tia blames me for everything. She thinks that Liam and I are having a secret relationship or friends with benefits kind of stuff. She even…" she paused looking at Yan Xuan who had his complete focus on her.

"She even.. what?" Yan Xuan asked her curiously.

"Previously when Liam had just moved to States, I visited him with Aunty Chen. It was the first time I met Deng Tia. We went to a party and got a little tipsy. When Liam was taking me to the hotel where Aunty Chen and I was staying in, she took some pictures of us. They were shot from an angle making us look intimate. When Liam broke off with her she posted those pictures shaming Liam and Me claiming that we were the one having affair and she was innocent. Liam had to ways to prove our innocence as the party we enjoyed had happened years ago." Mo Hua spoke everything she had in her heart today. She was ready to face the consequences.

"She later showed us the pictures and said that she is going to use them when the time comes. I am not sure what is she planning." She said this but her mind was still engrossed in the thought about what vicious plan Deng Tia is making.

"Don't worry about her. I will handle this as I know how to handle her. She is just a spoiled child by her family. You focus on me from now on. Hmm?"

Mo Hua felt her heart getting warm. She was in an extremely good mood and blushed hard when she heard his last sentence.

"Xuan... Shut up!" Mo Hua said shyly while slapping his arm gently, "Let's go now to meet your dad else we will be late."

Yan Xuan brushed the strands of hair from her face, "Mmmmm, let's go."

With that, they both stood up and entered the cemetery together hand in hand.
