15 Their First Kiss : Scarily Romantic

Yan Xuan unknowingly closed his eyes and slowly kissed her lips while Mo Hua shut her eyes tightly unknown to happenings in her surroundings.

His sleek fingers ran through her dark hair. She felt a tremor go through her body before she wrapped her arm around his neck. Due to the previous fall, his full weight was on Mo Hua's delicate body so he shifted his body to a more comfortable position.

Without breaking apart, he slightly opened his eyes to take a closer look to find any hesitation on Mo Hua's face. When he saw that she had relaxed expressions with eyes tightly shut as if forgetting all the worries, he closed his eyes again and continued to kiss her.

Just when he was going to deepen their kiss, they heard loud voices from distance.

" MoMo where are you girl. Please respond." XiXi was searching for Mo Hua.

"Yan Xuan, Bro where are you?" Shen Tao was also calling for Yan Xuan.

Coming back to senses and noticing their lips touching each other, Mo Hua pushed Yan Xuan away with brutal force. When Yan Xuan stumbled onto the other side of the net trap, the string holding them in the air loosened and they fell on the floor again.

"Thud!!" Loud voice echoed in the dark library room.

This time they fell in different directions. Fortunately the net trap was hanging only 2 feet above the floor for visitors safety reasons so they didn't get hurt at all.

Mo Hua winced in pain, "Ouch, my head."

She felt light-headed for a moment due to the fall. Yan Xuan quickly ran towards Mo Hua worried that she might have hurt herself.

But what he saw made him grin widely. Mo Hua's neck and ears were turned red and he realised that she was blushing. It was the aftermath of their first kiss.

He wanted to tease her but decided otherwise and stretched his arms to lift her up.

Just when he was about to lift her in his hand afraid that she might have got injured somewhere, they heard hurried footsteps coming from far in their direction.

Mo Hua quickly wiped her face for the invisible sweat she felt she have in the chilly room.

She also checked her dress and hair properly scared that someone will find out what deed they just did.

Yan Xuan who was observing her carefully chuckled and said, "Are you trying to hide any crime?" with that he kneeled down in front of her and was about to pick her up.

Mo Hua understood his intentions and slapped his hand irritatedly, "Thanks but i can stand on my own." with that she tried to pull herself up but lost the balance due to numbness in feet.

Yan Xuan quickly wrapped his arm around her shoulders to stop her from falling.

This was the nth time he had hold to stop her from falling but still everytime when they touch each other, there were sparks around them.

Remembering what happened few mins back, Mo Hua steadied herself and stood a little bit far from Yan Xuan to maintain a safe distance.

Yan Xuan understood the awkwardness and was about to say something but suddenly the door to library was pushed open and a figure came running towards them in high speed.

XiXi came running towards the duo and almost threw herself on Mo Hua when Yan Xuan dodged her, "Be careful. She is hurt. You will hurt her more."

Both Mo Hua and XiXi were looking at him surpirisngly. XiXi then turned towards her best friend and said, " I left you for few minutes and you still managed to get hurt. Where are you hurting?"

She started checking Mo Hua's hand and arms for any sign of wound but Mo Hua stopped worried XiXi and said, "XiXi, don't worry it's nothing."

Just as XiXi was about to pester her again, she noticed the reddish shade on her neck and ears. She took a sneak peek at Yan Xuan and noticed the same redness on his neck and ears.

She giggled before pointing towards Mo Hua's neck and said, "Girl, what did you do? Why are you so red?"

Sheng Tao who was observing his friends understood the teasing and joined in the fun, "Man, Yan Xuan you are red too. Should we go to doctor immediately? " All four of them broke into feat of laughter while Mo Hua and Yan Xuan stood there embarassed.

The lights in the room switched off and the room which was cool suddenly started getting hot. Just like someone had put the heater on.

As per mission rule, the rise in temperature was indication that they were running out of time and should hurry to collect the objects as per mentioned. The library will shut down automatically when the temperature reaches 50degrees locking individuals inside it. It is the dead end for those stucked visitors and would have to lose the deposit they paid while entering the haunted house.

Yan Xuan and Sheng Tao motioned the girls to follow them. They reached the balcony and saw that the cane chair was wrapped in rope and there was a letter with blood stains on the center table.

Yan Xuan took initiative to walk forward to pick up the objects. Mo Hua who was walking behind him grabbed his wrist nodded her head to not go.

Yan Xuan was very touched by her actions. He gently patted her head and said, "Don't worry I will be safe and will take you back soon. Let me go."

Mo Hua sighed and let his hand go but her eyes were glued to his back which was now slowly going far in opposite direction.

The fog around them suddenly increased blurring the vision completely. Yan Xuan was out of view right now and Mo Hua started panicking.

She grabbed Xi Mian's wrist and started pleading, "Sheng Tao please go and check on him. Is he okay?"

Sheng Tao replied to her, "Mo Hua, he will be okay. Let's wait for him here as the way to exit is on opposite side so he will have to come here only. "

Mo Hua reluctantly nodded her head,"Okay but we will wait for only 3 more mins else we will go search for him."

There was again a voice which echoed in the room, "One more will be gone. Who's next?" followed by evil laugh.
