53 Mom, I am here on a date.

"Aunty, Xuan is here; I will call you back in sometime after discussing with him about our plan." Deng Tia disconnected the call with Pan Xue.

Her eyes were focused on Yan Xuan while her face was brimming in happiness.

'We will soon be engaged Xuan. Then I will teach this bitch a lesson.'

Mo Hua observed Deng Tia for a few seconds and realized that she was drooling over Yan Xuan. The possessive woman inside her woke up and her warm eyes were now turned into menacingly cod one.

"Miss Tia! We meet again." Mo Hua said unpleasantly.

"Why is it that every time I talk to Xuan, you are the one to respond? Are you his assistant or a lawyer?" Deng Tia showed arrogance on her face but deep inside she was raging in anger.

"Ha. Miss Tia. I was not aware that you have a weak memory. So sorry but no problem. From now on every time we meet, I will remind you who I am to Xuan, and it started from now – Mo Hua, Yan Xuan's girlfriend." Mo Hua said conceitedly, "But I am curious that you are always running behind and clinging to my boyfriend when you know that he already belongs to me. Do you have a habit of snatching things?"

"Mo Hua, mind what you say?" Deng Tia said with the angered face which she was hiding from the start.

"Sure Miss Tia. I will but only when You mind your steps and don't cross my path." Mo Hua replied to her in the same tone which Deng Tia used on her. A fiery one.

"You... Don't overestimate yourself. You are just his girlfriend and let me tell you that you better get ready to part your ways from Yan Xuan. Soon you will have your heartbroken." Deng Tia said venomously.

Yan Xuan who was observing from the time he saw Deng Tia in the morning. He was not going to take part in this fight as he knew Mo Hua is way more capable and special than Deng Tia and there is no need for him to help her.

But right now, when he heard about Mo Hua having a heartbreak, his heart trembled. His eyes flashed frosty look and he said with a detached tone, "Tia. Don't take our friendship for granted. Men from the Yan family are very protective and possessive when it comes to their woman. Who would know this better than you? Hmm?" He smirked while Deng Tia was completely stunned.

'Is he insulting me in front of this nobody?'

Just as she was about to say something, Yan Xuan's eyes turned soft for a moment but then again turned icy as he continued, "Mo Hua is my woman. You better mind your boundaries so that it won't impact our friendship."

'Savage…' Mo Hua thought.

'Indeed Savage.'

Yan Xuan was famous not only for his unrivalled handsome looks and brain but also for his extremely cold demeanour.

"What did you say just now?" Deng Tia was in utter shock. "You insulted me for this sly woman."

"This is the last time I am saying, Tia. Please mind your language. I don't.." Yan Xuan was irritated with her behaviour and was ready to sort things out with her when Deng Tia's cell phone started ringing.

Deng Tia who was still in shock recovered immediately and a smiled appeared on her face when she saw the caller's name on the screen.

She swiped right to received the call and said, " Aunty Yan. I was about to call you."

"Ummm Aunty, Xuan... I don't know. Why don't you ask him directly? He is here right beside me. Wait I will pass on the phone." Deng Tia said craftily. She was trying to make Mo Hua jealous and aware of her place in Yan family.

"Xuan, MOM wants to talk to you." She purposely stressed more on the word mom to see Mo Hua's reaction.

Another side Yan Xuan and Mo Hua had no expressions until they heard Deng Tia mentioning Pan Xue.

Yan Xuan furrowed his brows thinking, 'Why would mom call on her number?'

Brushing his thoughts away, he took the cellphone from Deng Tia's hand and said, "Mom, Is my cellphone not reachable?"

Mo Hua was not surprised at all as she knew how scheming this Deng Tia is. So her face remained calm and poised not giving her enemy the satisfaction they wanted to see.

"Son, I was waiting for Tia's call. She said she will give me a call back to let me know about tonight's and tomorrow's plans. It was getting late and I still need to arrange things for tomorrow's brunch so though to call first." Pan Xue said plainly but certain someone was already burning in anger.

'This Tia. I truly underestimated her…' He thought before replying to his mom,

"What brunch? How come I am not aware of it?" He shot a glare at Deng Tia which she completely ignored.

"Deng family is visiting us tomorrow. Didn't Tia mention it to you? She said you both will head back together so I asked her to stay here tonight." Pan Xue was confused as she noticed her son was not aware of anything but she immediately let the suspicion go thinking it was a trivial matter. "So by what time will both of you come back?"

"I am staying overnight." Yan Xuan replied to his mom.

"Oh! No problem. Take care of Tia then. But both of you remember to come back early tomorrow. Hmm?" Pan Xue replied casually after knowing her son's plan. It was not new for her as Yan Xuan liked to spend most of the time studying or working in his dormitory or uncle's place.

"Mom, Tia will be heading home or maybe staying with her friend Mia. I am not sure about it." Yan Xuan wanted his Mom to know about Mo Hua but he was not sure if Mo Hua was ready for it.

"What do you mean?" Pan Xue asked dubiously, "Xuan what's going on? Why are you not staying around Tia? It's not safe for a girl to be alone in woods. And you took her there so be responsible and take care of her before you bring her back."

The surrounding was very calm so the sound from other end was audible to the rest of the two people standing close to Yan Xuan.

After hearing Pan Xue's words, Deng Tia's heart jumped in happiness while Mo Hua's expressions were a bit complex.

Pan Xue was a bit angry and disappointed as she thought Yan Xuan was behaving irresponsibly right now.

"Mom, I am here on a date. Do you think I will bring Tia along with me on my date? She came here with her friends, not me." Yan Xuan paused and glared at Deng Tia first and then smiled at Mo Hua and said,

" Also Mom do you want me to leave my girlfriend alone to take care of a mere friend?"

After hearing Yan Xuan, all three women – Pan Xue, Deng Tia and Mo Hua were in shock.

Mo Hua was happy as he didn't leave her alone but shocked as he revealed the secret that he has a girlfriend to his Mom. Although he didn't mention her name; that day was very close when she would be meeting Prof. Pan Xue soon.

Deng Tia's face was blanched completely. She never in her dreams imagined Yan Xuan to be so honest and blunt even n front of his Mom. She always thought that Aunty Yan was his weakness so she can control him using Aunty Yan. Her dreams came crashing down when she heard him mention about his girlfriend.

The most shocked person was Pan Xue. It was unbelievable for her to trust that Yan Xuan has a girlfriend and he was on a date that too at such a terrific location.

'Ah! When did my son become so romantic? No wonder his EQ increased suddenly… Wait why am I proud. He said girlfriend.. why was I not aware of this... This son of mine... Does he really …'

"Mom.."After not getting any response for a while, Yan Xuan got a bit restless. He knew this abrupt information would have made chaos in his mom's mind but he had to let this news out to avoid further incidents like today.

"You have a girlfriend? How? When?" A shaky voice came from another end.
