10 King's Arcadia

King's Arcadia was a multi-storey mall filled with different Arcade games.

Ground floor was dedicated to kids play area with several plush toys, trampolines and Crane Machines to pick plush toys, candies and stationary items.

On first floor it had few simulator games like Motorcycle, Water Shooting, Horse Race and Sword Fight. It also had Bouncing Ball Turntables and Fishing slot machines.

Second Floor was filled with Crane Machines for adults to grab Soda cans, candy bars or plushies. There were also some Electronic shooting machines, few lottery tickets games and air hockey tables.

Third floor had Alien Invasion – adult shooting machine, Police 911 game and Multiplayer Car Race Simulator. This was the busiest floor than the rest as it had most challenging games present here.

While the fourth floor had Drum-mania, House of the dead and Mahjong, its fifth floor was occupied KTV rooms.

But the main attraction of this mall was its Top floor. It had half the floor covered by Laser Tag arena while other half was a perfectly designed Haunted House game.

Mo Hua was very fond of Laser Tag and very scared of Haunted House. All four of them had been to this mall multiple times but had visited haunted house only twice due to Mo Hua's fear for ghosts.

Mo Hua thought today was no exception as well. She never thought that her friends had already planned to drag her to the haunted house today.

Rubbing here palms as if getting ready for a war, Xi Mian said," Okay girls lets go separate ways and play what we like. We will meet after two hours at KTV floor. Is that okay?"

Mo Hua and Li Mei nodded their heads saying," Yes. Let's go have some fun tonight."

XiXi was already missing and they scanned the surroundings, they saw XiXi was already running towards elevator. She wanted to go on the floor where her favourite game was located so did not waste any time.

Sighing deeply, Mo Hua said," Looks like today again I will have to forcefully drag her to KTV floor."

Xi Mian and Li Mei nodded their head and left for the elevator.

Another deep sigh left Mo Hua's mouth. As she started walking towards the elevator, she was convincing her mind inwardly,' Don't think about him at all. This is your time. Have fun.'

After spending two hours on first and second floor playing almost all the simulator games and lottery ticket games Mo Hua was completely exhausted and ready to go back.

She reached near the Crane Machine area and searched for XiXi.

Suddenly she saw XiXi running towards her like a small kid excited to meet her mother after long time. She nodded her head helplessly and smiled at XiXi.

XiXi on other hand was extremely happy with the plush toys she grabbed with the Crane Machines. She wanted to show them to her best friend as soon as possible so she started running when she saw Mo Hua heading in her direction.

"MoMo, Look I won so many plushies… there is this unicorn and two pandas. I also got a Winnie and Simba. Look here in this bag there is Elsa, Anna and Olaf from Frozen."

She was pulling out each soft toy out to show Mo Hua a glimpse of each of them.

Mo Hua pushed all the soft toys back into the bag and said," That's wonderful XiXi. You have got so many plushies in there. So happy for you but now it's already two hours and Xi Mian and LiLi must be waiting for us on KTV floor. Let's head upstairs now."

XiXi shrugged Mo Hua's hand gently and said," No way I am leaving from here. It seems today my luck is on fire. I want to grab that super cute Penguin and Hanfu cat before my luck dies. So, you go upstairs, and I will come when I get those."

Just when XiXi turned to leave, Mo Hua clutched her hand again and said, "XiXi, please I don't like to drag you like this every time. Let's Go."

Seeing XiXi reluctant, she started dragging her to the elevators.

XiXi tried to free herself but between both, Mo Hua was stronger so XiXi was left with no choice but to follow her stupid best friend.

Li Mei and Xi Mian spent their time on third floor as both were interested in playing Multiplayer Car Race Simulator.

When all of them reached one after other on the KTV floor, Xi Mian went to the reception to book a KTV room for them. After having a brief discussion with the staff, Xi Mian returned back to her friends' side and said," Looks like all the rooms are pre-booked or occupied here today."

They had planned to go to KTV for some time before heading to the haunted house. But now they were disappointed to find that their plan needs a change.

Suddenly XiXi's face showed evil intention and she said, "Let's go to haunted house for some time and then we will go to KTV."

Mo Hua started laughing in dismissal," Hahaha... no way I am not going to a freaky place like that... Let's go and play for a while again until KTV room is available."

XiXi yelled in anger," No....that won't do. You already dragged me here when I wanted to play more. Now I want to go to haunted house. No more games now."

Xi Mian also tried to speak angrily, "MoMo, let's go to Haunted House this once please. We never go there because of your fear. But today please accompany us... pleassse…" She started begging with puppy eyes the moment she saw Mo Hua giving thought to their request.

She eyed LiLi to jump into the drama. They had planned this drama long back during their last visit to King's Arcadia. They had decided to make sure that Mo Hua visits the Haunted House next time. So that she can face her greatest fear. They know it nothing critical and was due to some childhood memory that she was scared of darkness.

After getting eye signal from Xi Mian, LiLi started making cute innocent cry baby faces. In her childish sweet tone, she said, "MoMo, please. I really really want to go please. Come with us… I won't drink your turmeric tea for next whole week. Please…"

With heavy heart, XiXi also said, "I promise I won't drag you to swim lessons for whole week."

Xi Mian also added," Yes yes I will make sure these two keep their words."

All three of them saw Mo Hua's expression softening, and together said, "Pretty please…" making a pouting face.

Mo Hua smiled at her childish friends and decided to give up on her stubbornness for this once.

She knew they were always very understanding and never forced her. She also knew that they wanted her to face her fear. So, she decided to give Haunted House a try this time again.

With a small laugh on her amused face, she said "Well if LiLi promises to not drink my turmeric milk, XiXi promises not to drag me to swim lessons and you Mian Mian promises to do my laundry for whole week then I am..."

"We promise." All three of her friends said in unison.

Mo Hua shook her head helplessly thinking about how much her friends wanted her to go with them.

She slightly nodded her head and said, "Seems like I don't have much option. Let's go inside then."

With a victorious face LiLi, XiXi and Mian dragged hesitant Mo Hua towards the Haunted House.
