5 Aqua King

Meanwhile, when the bell rang, Prof. Pan Xue sighed inwardly thinking of having a good conversation with Mo Hua in later sessions. For now, she wanted to know the reason of certain someone's attendance in her lecture today.

She started winding up her papers waiting for Yan Xuan to come talk to her. But when she realized that even after few minutes her son was nowhere in her sight, she started walking towards the exit.

Her steps came to halt when she saw her son standing at the corner near hall's exit. She was even more surprised when she saw him with a smile pasted on his face.

She turned her gaze towards the direction his eyes wondering what he was looking at.

The papers in her hand almost slipped when she saw Yan Xuan was looking at Mo Hua. He had a gentle smile on his face.

This was again another blow to her delicate heart. Prof. Pan Xue was hoping that this one will be the last blow of the day she had to bear.

She knew that Xuan was introvert. He hardly spoke to random people even if it were his relatives. But today he was staring at a girl affectionately.

'No…. No… No… this is impossible' she thought while walking suspiciously and with mixed emotions towards Yan Xuan.

Just as she was about two few steps away from him, Xuan started walking hurriedly towards the opposite direction with Rong Chi rambling about random things pissing him off.

Due to his long legs, he started taking longer strides with increasing pace which Prof. Pan failed to match up with.

With angered face, she directed herself towards the staff room for a quick break before another session and decided to ask him when they go back home.

Mo Hua was half-dragged by XiXi towards the Sports Building. She was very excited as today there was a Swim Contest held by Sports department for charity purpose.

Many rich family members were attending the tournament event to bid on the best swimmers and the money earned from that was going to be donated to DisabledNow Swimmers Club.

It was a non-profit organization supporting the swimmers who professionally achieved many medals in past but now are facing disability due to accidents caused during any swimming tournaments or contests. Majority of the patients were suffering from Hypothermia.

Mo Hua took a deep breath knowing that she had no escape from here, so she decided to better be a part of this noble cause by adding some donation from her behalf as well...

"XiXi stop." Mo Hua pulled her hand from XiXi's grasp and said, "I want to go to donation booth first. Let's go do some donations as well before we head in there."

XiXi squinted her eyes again to confirm if her friend was not lying but seeing Mo Hua's sincere face, she decided to go along with her.

She said, "Sure let's make it quick though, the contest is starting in few mins from now."

After making some donations, both walked towards the swimming pool arena where the contest was organised. Soon they reached the spectators stand and grabbed seats not too far from the pool area. They had a good view of contestants from there.

XiXi excitedly pulled Mo Hua's hand saying, "MoMo!! Soon we will get treat for our eyes."

Mo Hua confusingly asked, "And why would you be saying that?"

XiXi exclaimed in half anger half surprised tone, "What?? You don't know who is going to participate today?"

Mo Hua nodded her head in denial.

Seeing her dumb friend, XiXi sighed inwardly. With disappointed voice she said, "MoMo, what should I do about you. You are so busy with your studies and game that you don't even have any updates about the hottest topic of University."

Looking at Hua Mo's blank expression, XiXi nodded her head helplessly and continued, "Xuan… Yan Xuan is participating in today's contest. Every single girl here is to catch a glimpse of him in action today."

Mo Hua was even more confused, "Yan Xuan... Who is he? And why would one want to desperately catch a glimpse of him?"

XiXi facepalmed herself in frustration and said, "MoMo, He is the best swimmer in entire University with lot of medals and trophies on his name. He has never lost any contest till date and is also acknowledged as Fastest Swimmer by International Swimming Association. And if we add his looks in his bio, he is called as Aqua King."

Mo Hua was listening patiently when suddenly crowd started roaring in unison.

"Xuan"

"XXXuan"

"Xuaan"

Mo Hua was bewildered to see the commotion and gradually stood up to see who was arriving in the swim arena.

She tried hard to catch a glimpse of the person causing so much havoc just with his arrival. This was the first time she was attending the swim contest since she joined University 4 months ago.

Due to people jumping and shouting she was not able to hear the name announced or see the person who arrived.

After some time, the commotion came to an end and then she saw the back a person with strong build and sleek body.

Every move from him was describing extreme agility his body has. His skin tone was flawless white. Mo Hua was left amazed just by his glimpse. Unfortunately, Mo Hua can only see his retrieving figure with wide back moving towards the locker room.

XiXi nudge her by her shoulders and asked excitingly, "Did you see? Isn't Yan Xuan amazing?"

Mo Hua was still in daze and nodded her head in approval. But then she realized what she had done and quickly sat down blushing and hiding her face in her palms.

"Ooohhh. Has Miss Heroine taken a fantasy for Aqua King?" XiXi asked teasingly when she saw Mo Hua blushing.

This was first time for Mo Hua to see her face blushed red and she knew her friend would not take liking for random person.

XiXi then with serious face said," MoMo I think you are a good match for him as he is also from scholarly background with High IQ. He is also a Computer Science student now in Senior class. And his grades are as good as his swimming and soon he will graduate with extremely wonderful job in his hand. You should think about this?"

Mo Hua was even more interested after getting more details of him. But not raising her hopes high, she said, "XiXi, why would he take liking for me? I am a normal girl with a slightly more than average looks. And moreover, he is a heartthrob of this University."

Pausing for a moment she scanned the crown around them and continued "Look how many beauties are here to seek his attention. I don't even stand a chance."

XiXi was shocked by Mo Hua's self-mockery and she almost yelled at Mo Hua, "Are you crazy?"

After noticing the stares from the people around them, she lowered her voice and said, "MoMo, what's with 'slightly more than average looks.' Are you forgetting that you are the Beauty Queen of our University? And for your information I think Aqua King might have already taken liking for you."

Mo Hua was drinking orange juice while listening to XiXi's explanation. She started coughing violently after hearing her last sentence.

She repeated the sentence in her mind, 'And for your information I think Aqua King might have already taken liking for you.'

'How is that possible??'

She started having a conversation inside her mind when XiXi suddenly flicked on her forehead. "Stop overthinking MoMo, I said he might have but I am not sure about it."

XiXi recalled the previous incident that took place in Archaeology Lecture. Yan Xuan was looking at Mo Hua with affection for long time and when her idiot friend didn't respond, he retreated with sullen face.

But she had ignored the possibility just like Rong Chi thought initially. But now rethinking over it, she has a feeling that it might be possible that Yan Xuan likes Mo Hua.

She decided to confirm first about the incident and then only tell Mo Hua about it. She didn't want her friend to high hopes only to be crashed later. She then smiled at Mo Hua and said, "Now let's focus on contest and ogle and drool over the hot guys in swimsuits. Can we?"

Mo Hua nodded her head blankly but was lost in deep thought.
