3 A Stinky Situation

Samantha half-jogged her way out of the hotel. 'Nope! Not happening! Tonight's not the night that my vajayjay loses its virginal identity. Nah-uh, not to Andrew Park!'

She was fine dating Andrew but she just didn't want to go all the way and run home with him. He was quite infamous for being a ladies' man but he was always nice to Samantha so she didn't mind having his company. And losing her virginity to him was too much for her. Even third base was too much for her.

As she was waiting for her car from the valet, her brother called her again. "Hey, brother~" she answered, sounding sweet knowing that he must have been so confused earlier.

"Don't you hello me, young lady!" he replied with an irritated tone.

Samantha chuckled and teased. "Oh, is that you, dad?"

"Very funny, Sammy! What just happened?"

"I was in a sticky situation and I had to get out. Thanks for calling, by the way, your timing was superb!"

Breathing out a sigh of relief, her brother probed, "You're safe, right? Where are you?"

"Yep! I'm at The Meridian Hotel."

"Good, you're nearby. Come over at the club."

Her eyebrow raised, wondering why he wanted her to go to his club. "Why?"

"Just come over. Hurry up. I'll wait for you." Seo Joon hung up the call before she could even respond.

...

Zero Gravity

Samantha's brother co-owned the club apart from being the current Vice President of Kimsun Electronics. Zero Gravity was one of the top clubs in Mayne where socialites gather and party.

Stepping out of her car, Samantha's mouth hung open when her eyes landed on her brother's Metallic Gray Porsche 911. The once-neat-looking car was now wrecked—its windows, windshield, lights, and hood were all damaged.

Not far from the car stood her older brother, Seo Joon who was two years her senior. He was six foot, a few inches taller than her. They shared the same color of eyes and his hair was darker than hers—it was almost black. "Sammy," he called his sister and saw the expression on her face.

"Oh my god, Joon. What the hell happened?" Samantha was still shocked upon seeing the wrecked car. Her gaze flitted to her brother by instinct and she scanned him from head to toe, anxious and wishing he wasn't hurt. "Are you okay?" She hurried over to him.

"I'm fine, Sammy. Don't worry about me. But my car though…" He sighed, running a tired hand down his face in frustration. He was worried that this would reach his father.

"Who did this to you?!" She snapped.

Scratching his head, he began to explain as he took out a cigarette and smoked, "It was Holden. Chairman Xuan's son. He's a friend of Andrew's."

"Okay... and? Why did he do this to you?"

"He is Rea's ex-boyfriend."

"Rea? Your new girlfriend Rea? What about them?" Samantha subconsciously rubbed her hands together in an attempt to warm herself up.

Without thinking twice, her brother removed his suit coat and placed it over his sister's shoulders. "Holden was drunk when he saw me and Rea together entering Zero Gravity earlier. I guess he got pissed that she dumped him for me. I only found out when an acquaintance entered the club and told me about it. When I came out, it was already like this."

"You do know she's just after your money, right? I already told you about girls like her. And it's been a month... Why are you still dating her?"

"I'm a guy, Sam and she's a babe. We like to date. It's that simple. Besides, I should ask you the same. Why are you still dating that prick?"

"Moot point." Samantha retorted. She couldn't argue with her brother like this as she wasn't really a good example.

Seo Joon snorted, shaking his head. His attention went back to his car and another sigh escaped from his lips. "What the hell am I going to do? I'm thinking whether I should just call the cops—"

"I don't think that's a good idea, Joon. That would just attract attention. If this blows up, the media's gonna make a big deal out of it. Who knows what kinda twisted story they're gonna cook up? Forget the car damage, the situation and the people involved... this is not good. You know how dad feels about scandals."

"I know that. This is why I haven't called them yet. Fûck I'm screwed!"

"Let's just deal with this discreetly. As for Holden… Well, I might have a plan. But I don't know if you're going to like it." A wicked smile broke Samantha's face causing her brother to narrow his eyes at her.

...

A week later — Samantha's birthday.

The Kim family was having lunch at their mansion, enjoying their meal while a television in the background ran a news report.

"Holden, the son of Chairman Xuan of Xuan Enterprises had a "stinky situation" last night right after attending the birthday party of the famous celebrity, Serena Lawrence—" the female reporter went on and on with her spiel.

Samantha and Seo Joon sat next to each other at the table. Upon hearing the news report, they looked at each other and snickered, reminded of their mischievous payback from last night. Secretly, they gave each other 'low fives' under the table, trying not to catch their parent's attention.

...

~Last night~

An inconspicuous car parked at a dark corner several meters away from a five-star hotel. Inside were Samantha, Seo Joon, and Alexander Li. They sat inside the car eating Chinese food like detectives on a stake-out.

Seo Joon filled-in Alexander about what happened to his car and that tonight, they were going to get even. There were tons of reporters at the front of the hotel, waiting for a scoop from a celebrity's birthday celebration. Some of these reporters were tipped by the Kim siblings, making sure their cover story will be centered at Holden.

Holden Xuan came out of the hotel an hour later and reporters flocked towards him as he walked to his car. He was famous as the heir of Xuan Enterprises, so the reporters were excited to gather around him and tried to get any information they could get. Loving the attention, Holden waved and smiled arrogantly at the media.

When he got inside his blue Lamborghini, a black van stopped in front of it. Then a masked man very casually walked towards the passenger's seat of the Lambo while carrying a medium-sized box. The masked man opened the door and placed the box on the seat saying, "Happy birthday."

Puzzled, Holden murmured, "It's not my—" But the masked man had already closed the car door, and left with the van.

Still confused, Holden lifted the lid of the box and was shocked to see what was inside. However, before he could do anything, a skunk jumped out of the box and sprayed all over the car's interior. He screamed his lungs out, panicking his way out of the car. He swore a thousand words in front of the cameras and burst in a fit of rage kicking his precious Lambo. "F*ck! F*cking piece of sh*t! Who the f*ck did this to me?" He was so mad 'f*cks' were flying everywhere.

Everything was caught on camera by the media and very quickly, the news spread online with the hashtag #HoldenInStinkySituation.

Samantha, Seo Joon, and Alexander cackled and guffawed inside the car as they watched the scene not far from them. Although they didn't do any physical damage to the car like what Holden did to Seo Joon's, the latter was pretty satisfied with the stink-bomb-surprise that her sister, Samantha, planned. The strong unpleasant smell of the skunk's spray would definitely last for weeks — on Holden and in the car.

"That was hilarious!" Alexander chortled.

"Sammy, remind me not to offend you." Seo Joon was proud of his sister but at the same time, he was quite frightened of her.

The memory of last night's incident and the TV news report put the Kim siblings in a good mood that noon.

"Kids these days," Mr. Kim clicked his tongue and shook his head.

Seo Joon and Samantha side-glanced each other and snickered. 'Oh dad, you have no idea.'

...

9 p.m. at The Crown Hotel — Mayne City

In a private room, Daniel Cho, along with Mr. Su and other business partners were discussing future projects. They had been there for more than an hour and were now just enjoying the night over some drinks.

"Let me just say how impressed I am with your success, President Cho. My son, Oliver… He's twenty-five now but…" Mr. Su sighed. "All he does is party here and there. I thought sending him abroad would straighten him up. He worries me."

Daniel softly chuckled. "I'm sure he's just going through a phase. Maybe he has yet to find what his passion is."

"I wish that's how it is! I'm just afraid that one day he'll come home and tell me he got a girl pregnant!" Hesitantly, Mr. Su lowered his tone as he asked, "What about you, President Cho? Do you have a girlfriend... Or are you married?"

Downing the rest of his whiskey, Daniel shook his head. "I'm always busy."

...

A few private rooms down the hall from where Daniel Cho was, a birthday party was in full swing.

Samantha had no idea where Hannah invited all the guests in the room. She could recognize a few but most of them were strangers. There were around thirty guests, and she could count the people she knew personally in one hand. The room was big enough to house fifty and soon, Andrew came with some of his friends—the room became instantly crowded.

"Hey, you promised me that you are going to have fun tonight. So... gimme your purse, forget about everything else and just let loose!" Hannah winked and handed her best friend a cocktail drink.

"Alright." Samantha received the glass and finished the drink in one shot. "There! Happy now?"

Hannah's jaw dropped at what she just saw. "Wow! Okay~ Take it easy on the drinks but, hell yeah~ Let's do this!"
