17 Chapter 15

"Are you sure you are OK? You have been just sitting here like this since you came here." "Jimin I am worried about you. Did something happen? Fight with your brother?" "Why are you not saying anything Chim? Just please say something. I am worried. "Taemin, I am.....fine. Just need some alone time. I am sorry that I just came here without informing." "It's fine dude. We are friends after all." Silence fell in the room after that. Taemin sighs seeing his friend sitting on the bed sadly while staring in the space without uttering a word. "Are you sure you don't want to eat anything? I know you haven't had your breakfast." "I am not hungry." Taemin sighs and looks at his friend who has been acting so weird. He was sleeping when he heard his doorbell and as he opened the door he saw Jimin standing there and crying so without asking anything he took the boy inside. Jimin refused to tell anything so he made the latter sleep in his guest room but even after waking up, Jimin is so silent. He even refused to take any bite and is just sitting on the bed in the same position. "OK buddy I will leave you alone. Call me if you need anything." Jimin didn't reply and with that the older left him alone with his own thoughts.

Taehyung quickly reached the hospital and saw Namjoon sitting on one of the bench outside Jin's room and crying while Mrs. Kim sitting close to him also crying. The sight alarmed him and he immediately rushed to them. "Hyung? What happened? Is everything OK? Why are you guys crying?" He asked worried. Namjoon looked up at him with his teary eyes and explained him everything. It was that Mrs. Kim was alone taking care of Jin when the boy suddenly started hyperventilating. The lady got scared and immediately called the doctor. The doctor told her to wait outside and that was when she decided to call Namjoon. She couldn't call anyone else because she doesn't have their numbers. As soon as Namjoon heard about it he quickly rushed to the hospital and saw Mrs. Kim crying. He was so lost in the situation that he forgot to call any of his friend. Taehyung decided to not ask about Yunki yet as this is not the right time and sat on the benches parallel to them praying for his friend.

Half an hour has passed and still there is no sign of the doctor. All three of them started getting anxious with the passing seconds. Namjoon is feeling dead from inside. Bad things are happening one after the other draining all of his energy. He may seem calm from outside but from inside he is crying. His baby. His hyung is fighting for his life inside and he cannot do anything for him. He still wishes to be in the place of Jin because he thinks he is the one who deserves this not the older. Why this is happening to him? All he wanted was a happy life with his boyfriend but seems like life wants to play this game of torture with him. He is tired now. He cannot do this. What wrong did he do that universe is punishing him like this? He just wants his hyung safe and back to him. He just wants his boyfriend healthy and smiling his beautiful smile while saying his name in his sweet voice. He just wants his Jin back.

Taehyung was sitting on the bench silently waiting for the doctor when his phone started ringing. He took out is phone and checked the caller's id. A bright smile took it's place over his face when he saw Yunki's name flashing on the screen. He quickly stood up and walks near a window to talk to the other properly. "Hyung? Where are you? You know how scared I got? Please tell me you are safe." He heard a heavy sigh from the other end. "Tae, I messaged you that I am safe and probably won't be back for few days." "I know. But I was worried." Replied the younger while pouting. "I am safe Taehyung. Don't worry." "When will you be back?" "Not sure but soon." "I will miss you." Pouted the younger. "I will call you." "Promise?" "Mmm." "I love you hyung." "Mmm." "Are you OK. You doesn't sound like usual." "I told you already Taehyung I am fine. OK I am hanging up. I am busy." Before Taehyung could say anything he heard the beep indicating that the latter has hanged up. He pouted even more knowing that he won't see Yunki for a while.

"Calling your boyfriend?" Came a deep voice from behind making Yunki a little bit startled. "I don't have any boyfriend." "I see." smirked the elder man who sat on an armchair in front of the boy intimidating him with his dominant aura. "So have you decided?" "I already told you dad I don't wanna come back. I have my own life now and I am happy and I have already broke all of my ties with you that day." The man chuckled humorlessly sending shivers down the younger's spine with his dark aura. "That was not even an option my dear son. Either you do as I say or face the consequence" "I don't care about your baseless threats dad. I am not a kid anymore who will get scared of you. I am not scared of you." Yunki glared at the man sitting in front of him whose smirk didn't falter even after Yunki's refusal. "You sure wanna do it the hard way then." Smirked the elder of the two. "Kim Taehyung. Age 20. Freshman in your university. Majoring in music and acting. Lives with you. Is cousin of your friend Jung Hoseok." Yunki's eyes widen and his face became paler hearing Taehyung's name "Do I need to tell anymore or you know your dad very well?" "Da.. You.. You can't do this. He doesn't have anything to do with this. IT'S JUST BETWEEN YOU AND ME!" "Calm down Yunki. What I taught you before? You should remain calm in situations like this. But if I was in your place I would have really worried about that boy's life. Sure for me it would be some another person I will take the life of.... but for you?" The smirk on his father's face is creeping him out. Yunki very well knows that underestimating his father would be the biggest mistake now. He doesn't need to be told what the man in front is capable of. "I will give you a week Yunki. Only a week. And at the end of the week I want to hear the answer which I like." Yunki gulped and looked away. Clenching his fists in frustration of not being able to do anything. "You can go back today if you want. Although....You have to come back after a week." with that the man left leaving Yunki alone and worried. He is not scared for himself but for the younger. He doesn't want anything to happen to that boy and if he has to sacrifice himself for the other's safety then he will.

The doctor finally arrived and Namjoon rushed to him begging him with eyes to say what his heart wants to hear. "He is safe and is awake." His eyes widen when he heard the last word. Awake? His Jin is awake? He is finally back! His eyes sparkled and a bright smile appeared on his face. "You guys can meet him but my advice is to go one at a time. Over crowd can put stress on the patient's brain." They all nodded and he was about to enter inside but stopped and turned around. He looks at Mrs. Kim who is giving him a smile. "I think the one he would like to see the most is you. Go." He smiled and walked inside the room where he saw his boyfriend laying on the hospital bed. The sound of the door made Jin open his eyes and finally met with Namjoon's. The boy smiled slightly making Namjoon's heart flutter. He quickly rushed to the other and grabbed his hand carefully in his own. "I.... I missed you." He choked making Jin smile again. "I-I missed you too." Jin tried to speak but only a whisper came out as his body is really tired. Still Namjoon heard him and he kissed the back of his hand. "I am sorry." He sobbed. "I am so sorry. I should have protect you. I shouldn't have called you that day. It's all my mistake. I am so sorry." He starts crying and held his head low not meeting the latter's eyes. Jin sighed sadly on seeing the younger this broke. "It was not your mistake Joonie." The name brought a smile on the younger's face and he looked up. His teary eyes meeting with Jin's smiling ones. "I love you." He said and kissed the latter's hand again. "I love you too." "Your mom and Taehyung is here. They cannot come inside because doctor has permitted only one person at a time. If you want..." Jin nodded smiling. Namjoon smiled and gave a brief peck on the latter's forehead before walking out to let others come.

It is finally the next day but Yunki didn't go back to Hoseok's house instead he stayed at Hans'. He needed to think a lot about what his father has told him to do. He didn't tell anything to Mr. and Mrs. Han even though they kept asking him and decided to keep the matter with himself. "Are you sure everything is OK son? I know you very well and I can tell when you are upset." "I am fine Mrs. Han. Don't worry." The lady sighed and walked away knowing very well that how stubborn the boy is. Yunki was sitting on a bed thinking about his father when his phone started ringing. He grabbed the device from the nightstand and answered it without looking at the caller's id. "Hello hyung?" Came Taehyung's voice from the other end. He doesn't know why but he started feeling a lot calm just by hearing the younger's deep voice. "Hey..." "Are you OK?" "Mmm." "I wanted to inform you that Jin hyung is finally awake and going to be discharged in an hour." "What!? Jin hyung is awake?" "Yes he had woken up yesterday. I wanted to inform you but thought that you would be busy." "OK I am coming to meet him then." "You coming? But you said that you won't be back for days." "Yeah. But I really need something to distract me. Something to make me less stressed." "Are you really OK?" "I am coming." Ignoring the younger's question he hanged up and got up to get ready.

"Are you OK?" Hoseok asked Taehyung who is staring at his cell phone while lost in his thoughts. "Huh? Ah yes.... I am fine." "Where is Namjoon hyung?" He asked further. "He is with the doctor." The younger replied while the other nodded and they both walked into Jin's room. "How are you feeling hyung?" asked Hoseok. "Fine. Just wanted to leave this boring place already." Taehyung chuckled. "You are soon going to." Someone knocked on the door and all three of them turned their heads and saw Namjoon, doctor and a police officer standing at the entrance. "Hyung, Mr. Park is here to take your statement. Are you fine to talk to him now? If not we can postpone it" Namjoon spoke walking to Jin. Taehyung and Hoseok moved aside to give Namjoon some space. "It's fine." Jin said. "Officer I request you to let me stay with him while you are asking questions." Namjoon asked to which Officer Park nodded. "Let me check him for a moment then you can carry on with your work officer." Doctor said and walked to Jin and started doing some normal checkups while Hoseok and Taehyung walked outside to not disturb them. When the doctor left, Officer Park walked inside and sat on the stool near Jin's bed while Namjoon took his place on Jin's bed beside him and hold his hand in his own. "So Mr. Kim how are you feeling now?" "Better than before. Thank you." "Do you remember what happened that day?" Jin nodded. "Did you see anyone's face?" "I-I saw the person's face who was driving that SUV in the rearview mirror. "Can you identify the person now?" "I am not sure officer. I think I was able to see her face only for few seconds." "Her? You mean it was female?" Jin nodded. "Though I have never seen her before. I don't know why she did it." Namjoon gulped listening to all of this. Just by imaging that Jin is in danger he shivered. By now he knows that the person can go to any extent to harm his boyfriend. He has already seen his baby in danger and he doesn't want to repeat anything. "From what I believe Mr. Kim it is that the person which we were already suspecting to be a female and now you have proved it, is involved with your that psychic stalker." Jin's eyes widen just by hearing this. "Either she is helping that man or she is the one behind all of this." "B-but why? I haven't done anything. I..." Namjoon wrapped his arm around the scared boy's shoulder to calm him down. "Why she is doing this will only be answered after she will get caught. And I promise you guys that I will find her no matter what." "Thank you Officer Park. We trust you please just take this person away from our lives already." Namjoon said. "I will do my best Mr. Kim. Although I suggest you to stay under high protection. I will send many of my officers. They will be with you when you will go home and will be guarding around your house." Both Namjoon and Jin nodded before Officer park left from there.
