A Certain Someone Noticed You

The next morning Sephiroth got up early making sure not to wake Eri up to get some morning training in. On his way out he happened to see Momo up as well and by her outfit she was on her way out for morning training too.

As they made their way outside to the training area outside they had a small conversation "Good morning Sephiroth, how did you sleep and how is Eri doing?" she asked

"Good morning as well Momo. Fine and Eri is still sleeping in my room right now and I'll wake her after I'm done training. She had a big day yesterday so letting her sleep is for the best right now considering. Since you're here I'll check your progress with your training." Sephiroth said while Momo nodded in agreement, happy that she gets to get some training with Sephiroth.

Getting into position to start Momo used her quirk to make a bo-staff while Sephiroth just decided to use his bare hands against her. "Now I want you to come at me with the intent to kill."

Once Momo heard this she faltered for a moment "But I can't do that Sephiroth, I want to be a hero remember and heroes don't kill anyone." Momo yelled in a righteous tone at Sephiroth, making him sigh hearing this.

"Momo what have me and Sombra been teaching you these past couple months since we have been training you?" questioned Sephiroth "To never hesitate and show no mercy"

"That's right so do what you have been taught." Sephiroth then got into a defensive stance waiting for Momo to make her move. Sephiroth could clearly see that Momo was still hesitant.

'If only she could change her mindset she could be that much stronger and if she still wants to be a hero she is going to need it' Sephiroth thought.

After thinking for a bit "Fine Sephiroth I'll try it your way, prepare yourself." Momo then leaped into the air to deliver an overhead strike at Sephiroth. Sephiroth simply side-stepped her attack. "Don't over commit with your attacks, always think ahead and try to predict what your opponent will do next." Sephiroth said while he kept dodging her strikes at him.

"Remember what you have been taught Momo always thinks 3 steps ahead" He says while dodging a leg sweep combo. "Good but how good is your defense." Sephiroth then started to go on the attack with simple attack combos putting just enough pressure on Momo.

This goes on for a few minutes of Sephiroth attacking Momo but he would purposely leave himself open for Momo to counterattack, training her on spotting weak points in her opponents and taking advantage of them.

Breathing hard and taking in big breaths "You are a monster" Momo said leaning on her bo-staff which is the only thing keeping her standing right now. "You have gotten better but there is much for you to improve on, keep at it. I'm going to go check on Eri." While Sephiroth was walking away 'I'll beat you someday Sephiroth just you wait' Momo thought.

So while Sephiroth went to spend some time with Eri, at UA in the principal's office we can see Nezu the principal and one of the teachers/underground hero Shota Aizawa.

While drinking some tea and seating behind his desk "Shota it's good to see you this morning so why don't you tell me what you found out yesterday." Nezu says while taking another sip of his tea.

Sighing to himself "When I finally arrived at the scene, I first looked for survivors but when I was looking for them I found something strange: a black feather mounted on the rubble. My instincts told me that it was important which is why I took the black feather. I figured that you might know something given your connections." Shota says while fishing out the black feather from his clothing and handing it to Nezu.

Nezu grabs a magnifying glass from a drawer in his desk and closely examines the black feather to see if he notices anything special about it. After a few minutes of examining it, Nezu puts it down on his desk and looks to Shota "While I don't see anything special about this black feather, but I might know who this might belong to. Tell me Shota how much do you know about the angel of death?"

"Do you mean the S-ranked mercenary based in the United States underworld, but Nezu why do you think that he is currently here in Japan and if so for what?" Shota asked

Nezu doesn't answer right away but starts playing with the black feather in his hands/paws by twirling it back and forth. "I believe that someone of his skill level is here because of a job but I can't imagine what that job is. But I have no doubt that he was involved in that incident yesterday given what you found. So while he isn't your typical villain we run into here that doesn't mean that he isn't dangerous either." Nezu said in a serious tone.

"So what do we do about him, Nezu if he really is here in Japan?" Shota asked

While taking another sip of tea "Simple we hire him for ourselves and before you say anything Shota listen to me, he is a mercenary meaning that he will do anything as long as the money is right and the budget that UA has is more than enough to buy his services. If the rumors about the man are true he is a master for combat in all forms and that is something that we could use this year coming up for the students. You know that All Might will be starting this year as a teacher for heroics but we both know that the man is a great hero but a horrible teacher."

"I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice this, especially considering the man doesn't even have a teaching license, technically something I'm sure you know Nezu." Shota says while giving Nezu a mild glare.

Giving a small chuckle "Yes, yes I'm aware but given his special circumstance I have allowed him to teach this year. Going back to what I was saying, what All Might really needs is a teaching assistant don't you think." Nezu said while giving an evil smile on his face making Shota shudder for a moment because any kind of smile on Nezu's face is just plain creepy.

"I don't believe that is a great idea at all, you're trying to hire a known killer to teach students. What is going to be stopping him from killing everyone around him or taking them hostage if the need arises."

"Simple Shota, the man has never failed a contract before and if my instincts about him are correct then he will honor the contracts he is given. Meaning that as long as we clearly state what he can and can't do he will follow it and if it helps I'll assign some extra security measures in place to protect the students." Shota could only shake his head at his bosses crazy ideas.

"While all this is nice and all it doesn't matter because you don't even know if he is here for sure and even if he was getting near him will be extremely difficult."

"You don't have to worry about that as long as we confirm that he is here in Japan, I will have a way to contact him. So Shota just be on the lookout for him and let me know if you hear anything about him and keep me posted on what you find out about the incident yesterday okay."

"I just want to take a nap but fine. If there is nothing left I'm leaving then ''Shota then pulls out a jelly pack and walks out of Nezu's office leaving the dog/bear/mouse chimera alone to his thoughts.

'Hehehe a new player has joined the game. I can't wait to meet him, I have been rather bored and a new toy is always welcome.' Nezu thought while showing an evil smile on his face.

Nezu and Shota weren't the only ones talking about Sephiroth and his actions yesterday. Somewhere else in an underground room we can see a scarred man sitting in a chair connected to several machines that look to be keeping him alive. "Kurogiri" the man said and all of a sudden a dark portal like thing came nearby the man and out stepped he was a man in a bartender like outfit but all of his exposed skin was black mist with glowing yellow eyes.

"Yes, master you called for me." Kurogiri said while giving a bow to his master All for One the big bad villain. "I have a task for you and Tomura, there was a building that got destroyed yesterday and I want you to investigate it for me. I have a feeling that there is more to this incident." All for One says.

"It shall be done master, me and Tomura Shigaraki will not fail you and find out everything that we can about the incident." Kurogiri bows one more time and then creates a portal and steps through it, leaving All for One alone again in the room.

'I have a feeling that a new player has entered the field. Maybe if I'm lucky I can get him/her to join the league of villains to help out Tomura. The boy needs all the help that he can get. I can sense that whoever caused this event is someone that I want to meet.' All for One thought giving off a big evil smile on his scarred face.
