4 Training Begins Part 1

My birthday was quite satisfying but I have things to do now. One I need to learn more about my devil fruit. Two find out what that Bloodline Lineage is. Three learn Haki. Four sort as much knowledge of the series as possible in my mind. After all I need to know events ahead of time to prepare for them.

"Dad?" I walk into my dads study "Hm Yes Sirus?" Nope still has that mask on. Jeez he never takes that thing off. "Dad I need your help with two things." He just listens "One I want help in studying my devil fruit ability, I have a feeling it is called Void Void Fruit. Two I found some writings about Bloodline lineage and would like to have access to more of this research." He is silent for awhile "Alright" He then began writing up some plans "We will begin tomorrow." Success.

Dad has studied devil fruits a lot so he is the best choice to learning more about my powers. Sentomaru is good for some martial arts and haki but I believe I can only learn Observation Haki from him. If some other people show up I can get them to teach me as well but the only one I know for certain is Kuma. I'll get him to tell me more about islands and places around the world. I mean he has to know these places to be able to 'smack' people to them right?

After that day I ended up becoming really busy. My schedule was filled with Devil Fruit training, helping dad with experiments, and my own bloodline. The first day of Devil Fruit training sentomaru joined in, since he could explain it better than my dad.

"There are three types of devil fruit users. Zoans who are able to change into or take the characteristics of animals. Some rare zoans can turn into prehistoric or even mythical animals. Logia who can use and turn their bodies into elements like fire or ice. These devil fruit users are near invincible on the four seas and the first half of the grand line. Lastly is your type, the Paramecia. The paramecia type is the most common and varied of the three. It can change the body, manipulate the environment, or produce substances" I was listening carefully despite knowing all this already "Some paramecia types allow you to take animalistic traits but unlike the Zoan will not lead to full animal transformation. Or they can allow you to control elements to a certain degree but not on the same level as a Logia as you can not turn your body into that element."

"But like all devil fruit users once in water they lose their strength as you may have already experienced yourself. The sea rejects devil fruit users. Thanks to Dr. Vegapunk and his study of Sea Stone we have learned that Sea Stone has the same effect as the sea on devil fruit users which is why we have special handcuffs for fruit users."

"Anyway when you were just a baby, that is shortly after the doctor found you, we discovered you had a devil fruit ability because you were snatched by a Logia user but while in contact with your body he couldn't use his powers. Even when I touched you my haki wouldn't activate but you were still affected by the sea stone."

I nod my head. Alright it is time for study now that they explained all this. A month passes by quickly and we learn a few things about my fruit. Dad says I have a space time type devil fruit, one of the most rare like a mythical beast zoan fruit. We discover how my fruit works. It doesn't neutralize all powers. If I can touch their body I can neutralize their powers and even when they are within a close distance I can prevent them from activating. But open testing we learned that if they have their powers active outside my range then enter it isn't neutralized.

For example a zoan fruit user who has already become half beast can enter my range and not turn back, a logia can send an attack at me and it won't just 'disappear' when it comes into my range, there was also one man who came who could turn into balls but when i touched one of his segments after he split my power didn't do anything. I still shudder when I think what could have happened if my fruit voided his power while he was split into segments like that.

Dad did research into bloodlines and devil fruits and confirmed that devil fruits cause changes into the Lineage Factor of the user. He also proved that devil fruit powers react by affecting the bloodstream. My fruit power prevents the user devil fruit power from affecting the bloodstream. I think it can do a lot more than neutralize but that will require more study.

After running some test we also discovered I had a bloodline lineage, though I already knew that. Still it took awhile before we found out any use of this lineage. All we have found so far is that my blood can mix with any other bloodtype and fuse with it without causing adverse affects. It seems to bond with any other blood type very easily without any case of rejection. I am not real sure how this is useful to me.

Now I am three years old. I have been soaking up dads knowledge everyday and have even helped him develop some things by offering some suggestions. Things that should have only been available later on like feeding objects a devil fruit or making artificial life forms such as dragons though this research is still not finished.

It isn't like I don't have my own experiments I have worked on. Such as I have modified my dog, who by the way I named Rex. Rex is more Robot than he is dog. He still has the instincts of dog but most of his body is cybernetic. So I gave him upgrades. First off I made him completely waterproof, in fact I put a hydro chamber inside him so that when he is submerged in water it can even serve as a power source by filtering. I added Sea Stone into his metallic lower jaw so that he can latch onto Devil Fruit users. He also has a machine gun that can be deployed from his back. And I gave his tail a rapid spin function that acts like a rotor so he can move faster in water. I wanted to give him transformation abilities too but WapoMetal hasn't been discovered yet.

Thinking of all the manga, anime, and novels I read in my past life I managed to think up a few uses for my Void Void Fruit. The void is a concept of nothingness and even the emptiness of space is called The Void. As it is a space time fruit I began to think of some uses from anime. The very first thing I made was an Item Box. I created a separate space with my devil fruit that I can put items in or out of. I'm not really sure how big that space is though. Second I worked on making my Void Void power give me a logia type ability which I thought of from Obito's Kamui. I can make my body become 'nothing'. Making it exist and not exist at the same time thus allowing me to phase through objects. Though unlike Mirio Togata I don't start sinking through the floor.

I have had some issues though since I am not quite able to control my power fully yet. Such as some of the items I put in my box will just vanish never to be seen again or I get stuck in walls. Still the possibilities I can have with this fruit make me very excited. Especially if I can master the one ability I have in mind. Sadly though I don't have enough control nor courage to test it out yet. After all I don't want to end up in the middle of the ocean if it goes wrong.
