You know for a samurai Asahi Talks A LOT! She hasn't shut up since I found her on the streets all the way back to Tazuna's home. I mean it isn't all bad, I at least could hold a conversation about swords, but she gets distracted so easily. One minute we were talking about swords the next she was complaining about how damp this place was. Then it switched straight to talk about armor polish. I just can't keep up with her!

"We're back" I say as I push open the door only to see Kakashi sensei was back "Ah hey Marix how was... why do you have a samurai following you?" I sigh "Well..." I proceed to tell him about how all this came about "That's surprising. Samurai don't usually like shinobi" Asahi goes wide eyed her face looking at us in horror "Y-you're a shinobi?!" Raising a brow at her extreme reaction "Yes? Is that a problem?" She shakes her head "Nope!" She said with a smile "Wait then why did you react like that?" She tilts her head a bit her eyes kinda looking confused "It was... fun?" She asked me making me almost fall 'Why is she asking me?!' I shout in my head

Deep breath. Deeeep breath. "So you are still going to follow me even knowing I am a shinobi?" She nods and I sigh "I'm going to go help Tsunami in making dinner" I pick up the bags and trudge to the kitchen. I'm not a bad person for wanting her to not follow me around right? She is more air headed than Naruto and that is saying something.

While helping cook, though Tsunami said it was alright but I insist on helping since I like to cook, I start thinking about this mission. You know Gato is definitely not an honorable man in any sense of the word, from what I hear. Let's put myself in his shoes. If I was him I would... I would set up an ambush when the two sides are fighting and reap the rewards along with holding a hostage to make sure everything goes as planned. Hm this information seems about right in that kinda mans thinking. Perhaps... "Marix why are you grinning?" Tsunami asked me "Oh nothing to worry about Miss Tsunami."

Later that night I pull out a special scroll from my Storage Bracelet. This is a scroll of my own invention see first off there are two of them both blood bound to two owners. Whenever one is written on the other will show the same thing. It makes a great communication tool so of course i have one and the other is linked to my Grandfathers scroll. I quickly write down my thoughts and my plan. Before putting the scroll away, I should get a reply later on. For now I should sleep.

[In Marix Mindscape]

I walked up to the bridge between me and my brother. "Oi Shukaku Sensei!" I yell over the bridge and then I can only wait "Mph what do you want Marix?" The old man responds. I began to tell him about the mission, the land of waves, the samurai I... Picked up? and my thoughts on gato and my plans. "Well do what you want I can't exactly stop you but... Hey Marix?" "Yes Shukaku Sensei?" I respond back "You say you are a Leaf ninja correct?" "Uh huh" There was no response for awhile "The chunin exams should be happening in the Leaf this year... Be careful" I have a feeling SHukaku wanted to say more but I couldn't get him to respond again. "Hm..."

Well since I can't get any more info I head to talk to the fox, unlike Shukaku I just yell everything I told shukaku over the bridge without waiting for the fox to repond back "OH WILL YOU SHUT UP ALREADY!" The fox growls over the connection causing me to chuckle "Oh I got you to talk." I hear a growl from the other side "What do you want Kit?" "Well I just wanted to talk to you. Rather than dream I prefer to 'dream' myself here talking with Shukaku sensei but he isn't around a lot so I talk to you. Maybe ease that loneliness" ANother growl "I AM NOT LONELY YOU BRAT!!" "Yea yea sure you aren't. Well you have been around a long time right" I can practically hear the fox sigh "Yes." I grin "Well perhaps you can teach me a few things." The fox growls "Why should I teach you anything brat?" I shrug, though I don't know why as the fox can't see me "Well think of it this way I am going to talk to you anyway so why not talk back?"

Of course the fox doesn't speak again but that doesn't stop me from pestering it. I mean I may act grown up but I am only 12 so hehe it is fun aggravating that big ol furball, especially since he can't do anything to me from the bridge link. Plus I need to relieve some 'stress' that my new... Companion has given me.

[Few days later]

"I'm telling you Marix there was a person out there collecting herbs. She was prettier than even Sakura" I nod "Oh she was was she?" I say with a grin "Yea she was except... It wasn't a she. Told me she was a boy" I chuckle "You know Naruto there is nothing wrong with thinking a boy was pretty. I mean I don't think it is common but there are boys who like other boys" Naruto seems shocked "W-what? No I like girls 100% Believe it!" I chuckle "Suuure you do Naruto. So how much girl interaction have you had other than Sakura, who pays more attention to Sasuke, and Ayame?" Naruto lowers his head and grumbles about how he likes girls not boys 'Oh naruto you are too easy'

Once Naruto leaves I check my scrolls again. It seems Grandpa supports my decision IF I can make it happen. I am just following up as I grin. If this all works out I will be able to gain great rewards but if it doesn't I won't lose nothing either. I began to write back to grandpa but this is about something else ~Hey Grandpa. Can I learn the Shadow Clone Jutsu? I have seen Naruto use it many times and I have noticed whenever he tires himself out with it he seems more mentally exhausted than physically. I would like to study it.~ It didn't take long to get a reply ~Marix that is a classified technique that requires a lot of chakra to use.~ I nod ~ Grandpa you and me both know I have even more chakra than a regular Jounin. Pleeease granpda~ It took a little while but soon the 'formula' for the technique appeared on my scroll. 'heh now let's see what makes this technique so special. Perhaps I can use it for my plan'
