Meeting the Hokage

Two people wearing mask come in through the window. The mask only seem to have eye holes and certain red markings around them but other than that it was all white. "What's going on?" One of them ask before looking towards where the others are pointing only to see two children one of which was Naruto who they were told to stay close by the other one they couldn't tell as there was a grey cover over his face like their mask only revealing ice like eyes.

Shortly after the intrusion of the two the mask began to crack and fall down towards the ground revealing another young child. Another special interest child from the Hidden Sand. But what was that thing on his face. One of the men signal to the other and the other vanishes heading to see the Hokage and inform him of this peculiar incident.

Marix had no idea what was going on until he heard clanking by his feet. Looking down he saw bits of metal, iron by the look of it, in broken pieces like a jigsaw puzzle "What is going on?" he mumbles to himself. Squatting down he picked up one of the pieces only to be stunned once more as that piece goes into his arm like a rock in water causing his eyes to go wide.

"Are you ok Marix?" Asked Naruto being concerned about his first friend "I'm alright Naruto... I think?" One of the man approaches and asked what was going on. Of course the bully began spewing out how he wanted to use the toilet when these two monsters attacked him. The other orphans who didn't like either Naruto or Marix began to testify as if they were watching it happen the whole time. "That's a lie!" Naruto shouts "You were the one who punched Marix for no reason and got hurt in the process!"

Marix smiled feeling a smile warmth in his heart as Naruto stood up for him and nodded. The man in the mask came up and asked them to tell their side. So Marix began to explain how he went to the bathroom and wasn't feeling well so Naruto accompanied him when the older child came in and started accusing them of plotting something and attacked without warning. Of course the orphans were shocked since everyone believed Marix was a mute, even the caretaker was speechless. When asked about the metal he only told them he didn't know.

Soon the other masked one returned with another person in a mask this mask though looked like a dog "The Hokage wants Marix to come to him with us" Marix looked at the other then to the orphans and the bully who was looking at him with hate. He was certain if he left now he would do something to Naruto "I can't leave without Naruto" He says and stares at the man. The air was tense for a few seconds "Fine he can come as well." Without even another second the man vanished and grabbed the two children before leaving leaving only awed children and a very worried woman.

Marix and Naruto were amazed as they were held by the man as he jumped from building to building 'Is this what ninja can do here?' Marix was amazed it seemed as if the man was just floating from building to building. After a while they arrived at a big red building being brought in they came face to face with an old man in a big funny hat, at least that was the first thought that came to Marix mind. The old man smiled at the two children.

"Wolf tell me what happened" The man in the dog mask began recounting what he heard. The old man nodded and then turned to Marix asking him to verify. Which Marix did. The old man got close to marix and put his hand on his head. Marix felt a strange energy invade his body. It wasn't hurtful in fact it felt pleasant like water "He might have a Kekkei Genkai, one that has never been seen before. Marix would you like to move out of the orphanage and train to be a shinobi?"

Marix was a bit stunned at the offer and glanced at Naruto before looking back at the old man "Who are you?" The man in the dog mask and the old man stumble. The old man has a look of embarrassment on his face as he coughs "I am Hiruzen Sarutobi, the 3rd Hokage." Marix was still looking at the old man "What is a Hokage?" once again the two stumble luckily naruto stepped in this time "The Hokage is the most powerful shinobi in the village and the leader of the village. The caretaker said so" the 3rd nods

"Oooh um... only if naruto comes with me. I fear he will be bullied more when I leave" When the 3rd heard Naruto was bullied he felt angry. Looking at wolf then to the children "Explain to me what has happened to you two at the orphanage" Marix explained how the two were bullied relentlessly, called monster, sometimes the caretaker would even skip giving them food saying there wasn't enough for everyone. He mentions that due to protecting him Naruto got hit a lot. The 3rd grew angrier and angrier with each word spoken. "I want this investigated entirely" He says to wolf who immediately leaves.

"Alright Marix and Naruto you two can both leave the orphanage and I will get you a place to stay together. I'll even give you both an allowance each month. I'm sorry you two had to suffer through all that" He seemed genuinely concerned. it wasn't that he wanted this to happen but he had too much on his plate to pay extra attention to these two. The Uzumaki house was destroyed by the Kyuubi in the attack so Naruto ended up in the orphanage. He was told that Naruto was getting along well with the other children by the caretaker and that Marix mainly kept to himself.

The 3rd smiles at the two of them "Come you two will stay at my house tonight. Tomorrow I will lead you to your new residence" The old man then leads the children out.
