26 Marix Levels Up!

The man Akahoshi falls over I think he is dead since when I absorbed the star it came with all that weird chakra. Oddly enough nothing happens to me. The star and that chakra blend into my body perfectly achieving some kind of odd balance. The chakra melds with my own making it stronger while the stone seems to be upgrading my Kekkei Genkai. Feels like the metal I absorbed is a higher grade than Nin Metal as well as a presence that was inside the star but it was destroyed by my bloodline before I could make any sense of said presence. I have a feeling though it was this presence that was making Akahoshi so power hungry.

I can only guess the reason I am not having adverse effects like that Akahoshi is do to my Mujun bloodline. It does allow me to fuse different elements and chakras together easily so perhaps it did the same with this. "What happened to the star?" "Marix are you alright?!" Two voices speak to me at the same time. "uh yes I am fine Uncle and the star got absorbed by me due to my special bloodline." I respond to both "That is good then but you won't suddenly go crazy like that guy right?" I shake my head "How did you absorb the star? Wait better yet how are you supposed to cure our villagers now!"

"Well I have a special Kekkei Genkai that let's me absorb and control metal. The star had lots of metal elements in it so it got absorbed when I touched it. As for the cure I can do it quite easily now. But I have a question or two for you too. One are you Natsuhi and wasn't there supposed to be another with you called Hotarubi?" She expresses a sad look on her face "Yes I am her and my husband Hotarubi passed away a few months ago from the star chakra" 'That means it still eats away at them even if they aren't near it' "Then I have to treat you too. The chakra seems to slowly eat at your life force so long as it is in your body." I lead her to the other patients one of which seems to be her son. She cries when she sees him.

I began making my hand signs "Life Jutsu: Blessing of the Saint!" This jutsu is an upgrade of my previous threads of the saint since Life Jutsu is more powerful than medical ninjutsu. Thick threads that seem to glow with a vibrant green light land on all of the patients. Two strings connect to each one. One of which absorbs their chakra into my own body as the other pushes purified star chakra into them. The star chakra was automatically purified when I absorbed the stone. It takes awhile but finally I manage to purify all of them.

"There now you won't have to worry about your chakra corroding you anymore but... Due to the earlier effects the life span of all of you will be lesser than others and this may pass down into your children" Natsuhi looks at me "What do you mean?" I look at her and shake my head "Let's say an average person can live to be 70 years old before dying naturally. You all instead can live to be 55 instead" She shudders "Doesn't that mean our line will suffer for ever?!" I shrug "Maybe after a few generations your life span will become normal again all I can say is that right now your lifespan is decreased below average."

Uncle Asuma steps in "Rather than worrying about that right now shouldn't you be wondering who will lead your village now? From what I understand you all got your power from that star with it gone and with no Hoshikage to lead you what will you do now?" I look at them then to my uncle then back at them "I can't tell you what to do now but I can make a suggestion. One is you all stay here and still try to continue your village or two" I notice there are only about 50 of them in the village total "You can come with us back to Konoha and become the Hoshi Clan"

This seems to incite murmurs amongst them. Some don't want to go they want to continue the village but others think that their strongest ninjas are gone and they can't make more so it won't matter. At least in Konoha they can get more protection and a better future for the children. Oddly enough most of them look to Natsuhi to make the final decision leaving it all up to her. "We have lived here all our lives guarding and protecting the star. In return we got a shorter life span and many of us died. I think we should follow what the boy said and join the Hidden Leaf village" All the villagers seem to nod their heads but we have to wait a while til the patients wake up

Walking away "Uncle Asuma can you do me a favor?" I say looking at him "Yea Marix?" Taking a deep breath "I feel my Kekkei Genkai got more powerful soo... could you attack me?" Asuma blinks not expecting such a request "If you insist I guess" He takes out a shuriken and puts forth killing intent, he knows if he doesn't my defense won't work right since I trust him. Throwing the Shuriken at me it clanks against my hand which I held up and falls down.

Looking at my hand the change is unexpected. The metal seems thinner like a second skin but it is much darker almost a blackish purple but the weirdest thing is it looks like liquid with moving lines all around the metal kinda like ripples in water when it rains "What is this" Both me, guy and asuma say at the same time as we stare at my hand "Uncle try it with chakra this time" He shrugs and infuses one with chakra throwing it too this time it clangs as well but all the chakra seems to be sucked into the metal "THE HELL?!" All three of us can't help but shout.

"W-well at least one of my weaknesses is gone I guess." Chuckling sheepishly 'Isn't this a little too op?!' I shout in my mind. 'My f*ck*ng hand absorbed chakra?!' Asuma and guy seem to be in disbelief to this outcome as well but soon they shake off the stun and congratulate me on this 'Level Up' I seem to have received.

Two days later the villagers are ready to go and we got word back from Grandpa who approved of letting the new Hoshi Clan move into the village. They had buried their dead and we had a ceremony for those who died due to Akahoshis craziness. A thing to note is that the bald guy who lead us here and one other guy, who I am told was called Shisō, vanished shortly after the fight with Akahoshi. I guess they were both really close to him. We all put on our mask and cross the ropes before cutting them so no one can go over and raid the graves. I look down at the poisonous valley 'I'll be back one day to collect you' I had the means to collect it now but it would be hard to explain to everyone why I need all that poison. I am sure 'I want to study it' wouldn't be an acceptable answer. Well now back to the village this time Uncle is carrying me!
