Marix Gets a Cousin?

Marix gets up and stretches before brushing his teeth and getting dressed. Marix clothes were in the modern world be considered emo or gothic. He wore a black T-Shirt that had a chain mail vest over it. He also put on a jacket with fur around the neck area, but this was because it was currently winter. He wore blue jeans, a belt with pyramid like studs on it and a chain on both sides hanging from his pockets. He thought he looked pretty good in these.

((A/N open to suggestions on his clothes as he gets older. I just want it to match his Metal Release. Just picture gaara in whatever clothes. Gaara has that Sand Gourd and Marix will have metal accessories or a chain mail vest.

He steps outside and sees naruto already eating some breakfast which caused a tick mark to form on Marix head. I hits narutos head with his knuckle "What did I tell you about eating ramen for breakfast?!" Naruto yelped and rubbed his head and tries to whistle innocently "I-i have no idea what you are talking about" I hit his head again "Naruto if you are going to lie at least hide the evidence" Points to the bowel of noodles on the table "Seriously try to eat cereal or something" I shake my head.

Sigh I get myself a bowl of cereal and eat at the table. When I go to wash the dishes I look out the window "it snowed a lot" Naruto beams "Yea we can have a snowball fight or make a snowman" I think that sounds fun "Alright we can do that but I have to go visit Grandpa first. Don't forget to put on your jacket okay?" I give him warning before I head out after zipping up.

I finally arrive at Grandpas place only to find it a bit chaotic "Quick get hot water." "Ah we need to more towels!" it was very confusing I tried to stop people but they were in a hurry so no one answered me so I decided to try and follow I approach a door and hear crying coming from inside "Is that a baby" I push inside, not like anyone stopped me anyway. I finally saw Grandpa he was holding something wrapped in a towel

"Ah Marix you are just in time come greet your little cousin Konohamaru" Cousin?! I-I have a cousin. I timidly approach to see a small boy wrapped in a towel "He is tiny" It was the first thing that came to mind. The hokage chuckles "Well he was just born after all but hhe will grow up just like you." Grandpa hands the boy to his mother and ruffles my hair "I am counting on you too look after him later in life ok Marix" I nod my head. He is my family I will give my all to protect him.

"Marix we aren't going to have classes today and I already sent word to Tetsu and the Hospital for you to have the day off. We are going to celebrate your cousins birth. How about you go out and invite your friends to come join us hm?" I smile "Ok grandpa" I then rush out the house. It seems the hokage has put Marix reward to the back of his mind for now.

First things first. Marix rushed home "Naruto we may not be able to make a snowman today" He says to naruto who immediately showed despair "because~ I got permission to invite my friend sto attend a feast! You are my best friend so I want you to come with me" Naruto cheers up "Will there be ramen?" I shrug "Not sure but it is a feast so it should have tasty food. Let's go get Shikamaru and Choji" Grandpa's face when he sees Choji should be priceless!

I chuckle as we rush off to the Nara residence when I see the silhouette of two black haired people. one looks to be a young teen the other one seems my age "Sasuke!" I yell out and wave. Sasuke turns around "Oh hey Marix. Um why are you yelling?" I chuckle "Ah I wanted to get your attention. Are you going to the feast?" Sasuke has a confused look "My cousin, Grandpas new grandson, was just born. He is holding a feast" I smile "he can't. We have business today and can't attend" the older male said "Sorry Marix I have to go with my brother" the two then leave well it doesn't bother me as I head back to shikamarus.

I knock on their door and Shikamarus mother answers it "Oh Marix what are you doing here?" I explain to her about the feast and how I wanted to invite shikamaru "Oh that. My husband is going to that I guess it will be fine for you to take Shikamaru with you oh and Choji is here too" She leads me and naruto inside. This is the first Naruto has been invited into someone elses house so he is a bit nervous. We see Shikamaru playing chess, he seems to like it. I explain once again to him and choji. Choji of course says yes quickly "Alright" Shikamaru gets up and puts on a jacket before heading out with me.

Soon we arrive back at Grandpas place where they are preparing for things so we head out back to play in the snow. It isn't as fun having a snowball fight with Shikamaru. Since he has great chakra control he can use that Shadow Binding jutsu for a small amount of time. Just enough time for Choji to hit me with a snowball. "Hey no fair!" Naruto is off to the side laughing as he sees my face covered in snow only to be hit in the face with a snowball too. "Oui!" Naruto began wildly throwing snow while laughing.

After the snowball fight we began making snowmen. We decide to make one of each of us. I think mine turned out the best as I put in the details for mine. I can't even begin to describe what Naruto made. It looked like a bunch of mash potatoes with coal eyes and a carrot. Shikamarus was the second best or at least it would have been if he didn't give up halfway! Geez he is lazy. Chojis though looked like an average snowman only without the carrot.

Soon we are called inside there were so many foods around us and of course when Grandpa so choji he got black line son his face as he despaired over the cost of the food. It caused me to laugh at least. You know I have noticed but this world is a lot like old Japan... 'Hm what's Japan?' I ponder over it but I can't seem to remember. It seems very hazy so I shrug it off. Shikamaru eats very little but Naruto and Choji seem to get in a small argument over the pork. me I was just enjoying the atmosphere. It was nice to have family and friends around me. Even Uncle Asuma came over and gave me a hug while lifting me in the air. His beard tickled.

But all good things must come to an end. The feast was over and we had to say our goodbyes. Grandpa let me take some of the leftovers home with me. Looks like I will have to make the chicken soup another day. It's been about two years since I came to this world but I can't remember a time I was happier. Here I have family and friends. Life is good "Thank you Janist" I mumble under my breath as me and Naruto head home. I am very thankful for this new life.
