5 Future plans?

Despite his misgivings Marix found the futon to be quite comfortable. He never slept on a futon in his last life, though honestly he still wishes he had a proper bed. He slept great. The worries and stress from his last life were gone and he could begin anew here in this village. If there was only one complaint he had it was his dream. He dreamed he was in a place that was like a maze. There was sand all over the floor and many doors that couldn't be opened. There was a snoring sound echoing around all over but no matter where he went he couldn't find the source.

Despite the dream he woke up quite refreshed. He and Naruto got a bath and brushed their teeth even got fresh clothes. "Ah you two are ready. Come we will take a stroll as we head to your new place. Let me know if you see anything you like" The old man oh sorry the Hokage said to us as he lead us out.

Everything around me was new I couldn't help but get excited, or maybe this could be my new body. Despite my knowledge my actual age here is only two years old and that seems to be having an affect on me. Well it is still good being here. Me and Naruto were very excited. Naruto lead us to a little store selling a variety of items. I asked the Hokage for some books and naruto got some toy ninja gear and a frog wallet. I found it cute.

The 3rd smiled down at the two of them. He found their curiosity and excitement both amusing and pleasant. 'Ah when will I get some grandchildren' he thinks to himself. He didn't even mind buying them some novelties though he was very surprised that Marix didn't want any toys but instead wanted books. He also found Marix attitude strange since at times he was excited and bubbly like any other child but at other times he seems apathetic and distant as if he was a lonely adult.

Marix watched Naruto with amusement when naruto suddenly stopped and smelled the air "Gramps something smells great!" He exclaims as his stomach began to rumble. The 3rd grins a little "Ah I think you smell Teuchi's place. It is very close. How about we get something to eat." The two children nod and follow the hokage.

The enter into a building called Ichiraku Ramen where an old man stood behind a counter "Ah welcome welcome what can I get for y- Ah Hokage!" He stammers a bit causing the old man to chuckle "It's ok Teuchi I am just a normal customer today. I even brought you some new customers" Teuchi wipes his brow "You mean these two haha ok ok fine order whatever you want you two just for today I will let you have it free of charge just promise to come back in the future got it" The resturant owner seemed very vibrant and joyful at least that is what Marix got from this but he couldn't help admit the food smelt great. Him and Naruto were new and never had ramen before so they let the third order for them.

Heaven. That is the one word Marix would use to describe this. Once he started he just couldn't stop, though he didn't get as excited as Naruto about it who kept slurping it up like crazy while shouting how good it was. The 3rd ate calmly but on the inside he was angry 'Have these two not been getting decent meals either' he suddenly recalls how Marix said sometimes they wouldn't get feed so of course they might not have gotten enough to eat either. He couldn't help but feel pity. "So what do you two want to do in the future

Naruto was the first to answer "I want to be Hokage!" The 3rd found that amusing then looked at Marix who seemed to be deep in thought. 'Yes what do I want to do in the future here' By now he has remembered that Naruto was a very popular anime in his previous world, of course he never watched it as he busied himself with work all the time but that didn't mean he knew nothing about it just very very little from what he heard others discuss about it at times.

"I want..." He says looking at the books then sees one that read 'A Beginners Guide to Medical Ninjutsu' it then hit him. In his previous world other than developing technology he at the same time looked for cures to diseases. "I want to study science and medical ninjutsu" He says finally finding a goal. He wanted to make peoples lives better and help people. If he improves their way of living then maybe the orphans can decrease. Though he didn't care for the bullying but he still realizes that they are just kids lashing out.

The 3rd was a bit shocked by his words "Why do you want to do those Marix?" He couldn't help but ask. Marix looked at him "I want to be helpful to others. If I can make inventions that can improve every ones lives then won't everyone be happy?" The 3rd nods his head "Fine I will see if we can get you to apprentice under someone" They then go back to eating. By the end of their visit Marix finished off two bowls of Ramen while Naruto finished off four. 'Where does all that go' Marix wondered looking at Narutos small body.
