19 First Class

We all walk into the class together. We are probably the last group since most of the seats are taken. Subconsciously I activate my Seishigan looking at the Life of everyone in the room. It has too be mentioned that after the Itachi incident I began seeing more than strings. I can see lights within every living creature from humans, to animals, to even insects. I look around and see many lights one even from a dog. Were dogs even allowed here? One light shocked me because I saw many little lights moving within his body.

I shake my head cancelling my Dojutsu before entering and taking my seat. I couldn't help but notice one girl kept stealing peeks at naruto while fiddling with a red scarf in her hand. Ah that must be the girl Naruto spoke about. Looks like she has developed a crush. Shikamaru lays down on the desk and falls asleep. Ugh how lazy can he be. Ino is chatting with her new friend Sakura. Naruto though not asleep is just laying there slumped, and Choji... is still eating. Black lines form on my face seeing what my friends are doing on the first day.

Soon our homeroom teacher shows up. He introduces himself as Iruka Sensei. "Now can anyone tell me what the Hokage is." Suddenly there was a murmuring around. One person even blurted out "One day I will be hokage!" I facepalm at this. Naruto can't you behave. "I need serious answers thank you." Sakura holds up her hand "The hokage is the elected individual who leads the entire leaf village. The current Hokage is of the Sarutobi Clan." Sakura fidgets a bit. It seems she doesn't have much confidence in herself "That is a very good Answer miss?" He questioned "Ah Sakura Haruno" she stammers a bit "You are quite smart Sakura."

The door opens and a boy in a blue outfit and black hair walks in. "Ah Sasuke!" I couldn't help but blurt out. He looks over and seems to have a confused expression before turning his head away and heading to a seat completely ignoring me. "You are late Sasuke" Iruka was irritated by the boys tardiness "Some people tried to stop me from entering. It took a few minutes to beat them up" He says coldly. Some of the girls began to blush. They seem to like his looks and cold attitude

"Whatever the reason you can stay after class and wipe the black board clean" Sasuke just grunts and class continues. Iruka began to explain chakra to us. "There are two components to chakra physical energy and spiritual energy. Physical energy is collected from each and every one of the body's cells and can be increased through training, stimulants, and exercise. Spiritual Energy is derived from the mind's consciousness and can be increased through studying, meditation, and experience. The more powerful those two are the more powerful your chakra will be. But if one is much higher than the other it can lead to adverse results. Like if your physical energy isn't enough your jutsu may very well hurt yourself while trying to cast your jutsu. On the other hand if your spiritual energy is much lower it can lead to your jutsu to be weak or unstable"

I nod my head memorizing each word. It is always good to keep things in balance. Too much of one thing could cause everything to be destroyed. Iruka continues "There are three main types of techniques we use. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu. Ninjutsu is the use of Chakra through hand seals, or other applications, that allows us to perform techniques such as" He makes a cross "Shadow Clone Jutsu" With a puff of smoke there are now two Iruka Senseis "Like this" One of the senseis puffs into smoke and vanishes.

I already knew these things but whatever. "Taijutsu is hand to hand combat. The use of your physical body in a fight and mostly doesn't require chakra. The Green Beast Guy sensei only uses Taijutsu but he is a very powerful shinobi. Lastly Genjutsu it is illusions. Unlike Ninjutsu the effects of Genjutsu are not real, being only sensory illusions experienced by those who fall victim to it." This is all stuff I learned from books years ago. I'm beginning to see why Shikamaru is sleeping

Class passes by slowly, mainly because I knew everything Iruka was talking about. But I got into some of the other classes. I was very good in the science and mathematics classes. Naruto didn't seem to get any of this stuff looks like I will have try and help him. Even though he can be a pain lately, such as putting a whoopee cushion in my bed, he is still my best friend after all. Well class is over now but I stay behind.

"Hey Sasuke" I say to the boy wiping the blackboard. He ignores me "Sasuke?" He puts down the eraser but still doesn't look at me "What?" He says coldly "I have been looking for you. I know what happened to you" He growled at me and snapped "What do you know! You can't understand how I feel! You will never know how I feel because you don't have a mother or father to lose!" His eyes held a trace of madness, hatred, and loathing but somehow I see that it isn't directed at me but more at himself. He loathes himself for being weak.

I sigh "You're right. I don't have a mother or father or brother. I didn't have anyone to lose to feel what you are going through. But now I do have people I care about. I have Naruto who is like a brother to me, The Hokage who took me in when I was an orphan, I got an uncle who never once looked down on me. You may not know it but I do know what you are going through Sasuke despite not losing anyone." I place my hand on the desk "And how would you know if you never lost anyone?!" He snarls at me. He seemed like a cornered animal

I look at him my eyes held tears "It's because I saw it and experienced it though you. That night in the hospital I used my secret technique to connect to your mind and I experienced everything from that night including everything you felt. At the end of it Itachi turned to me and he tortured me for three days inside his Genjutsu for 'Seeing what I shouldn't' He said. I felt the pain, the loathing, the complete despair." I walk up and I wrap my arms around the boy "You never should have gone through any of that." Sasuke began to tear up "It's ok to cry Sasuke. I won't look down on you" Sasuke leaned against me and began to sob. Right now he wasn't a proud Uchiha he was only a poor boy like me when I went through that possession by that sand monster. Just like then if Grandpa didn't reach out for me I wouldn't know what to do. Now it is my turn to reach out.
