9 Decisions

Inside a secret location in Konoha sat the top figures of each main household, the council of elders, the hokage, and a few more key figures of konoha. This emergency meeting was called due to the sudden outbreak of Marix who despite not being a jinchūriki managed to due a partial transformation into the Ichibi.

"This is impossible! How can he have the Ichibis chakra without being a jinchūriki?!" Demanded one of the elders now classified as elder 1 due to their insignificance in this fanfic

The hokage checked over his files "According to what we know is that Marix twin brother Gaara is the jinchūriki of the Hidden Sand. Gaara had the Ichibi sealed into him in the womb so perhaps some of it's chakra melded into Marix" He says in response "This is unprecedented because there has never been twins chosen to be a jinchūriki."

"There have been reports of special abilities born between twins at times." Speaks Shikaku of the Nara Clan "It could be due to this connection that the Ichibi Chakra is in both of them."

"In that case he is highly dangerous. He has no seal on him so the Ichibi could probably transfer over to him though this connection and become free again only this time in our village" Says Danzo. When he mentioned Ichibi being freed a lot of them felt uncomfortable as it hasn't been long since the attack of the Kyuubi.

The hokage thinks of the incident and all the destruction that happened but he also thought of Minato and Kushina who gave their lives to seal the Kyuubi in their only son. Which he had failed to protect. He didn't want to fail again. "So what do you all suggest about this?"

Danzo "I say we should just kill him. He is a dangerous factor. Who knows when he might snap besides he isn't from our village"

Hyūga Head "No killing him may release the Ichibi. We don't understand this situation well enough. We know that if a jinchūriki is killed the Bijuu will be released. We already know the Ichibi can make a connection between the two and has utilized it who is to say if he dies the Ichibi won't come?"

Uchiha Head "Then let us put him under arrest and keep him locked away for future examination" This idea seems to be accepted by many who murmur in agreement

Yamanaka Head: "But he is only a child barely even knowing the world. I say we just monitor him closely but do not change things to much or he may feel threatened."

Danzo "No he is too much of a threat to roam free!" The other elders agree with this "Indeed. We should put a seal on him sealing away his chakra and try to prob him perhaps through this connection we can have a link to inside information of the Sands."

The Hokage listens to them all "I have made a decision." All the people look at him "I will adopt this boy as my grandson making him a member of the Sarutobi clan" Chaos insues

"You can't do that. If you adopt him it would mean war with the sands. After all he is the child of Kazekage!"

The hokage glares at the one who spoke "We all know why he was sent here. They may say politic hostage to strengthen the bond between allies but we all know they just abandoned the child here because they thought he was useless to them. Hell if it wasn't for the Kazekage they may have just killed him on the spot" This silenced a few of them. They all knew that when the boy as born he didn't cry and afterwords he seemed like a soulless husk so the elders of the sand thought he was a retard.

"When Minato and Kushina sacrificed themselves they wanted Naruto to be hailed as a Hero but have any of us done that for them? No instead he was sent to an orphanage and abused terribly. This child Marix wants to be loved and accepted. I see it in his eyes just like Naruto. I am not going to make the same mistake twice when I can save this child from the darkness" When he spoke of Minato and Kushina all them except Danzo and a few elders lowered their heads in shame

Shikaku: "Then I suggest we put a seal on him at least. So that something unexpected doesn't happen" This got nods from others.

Aburame Head: "I agree. I have seen this child in the hospital. He is very intelligent and you can see him trying to find ways to help the village despite being so young. As the hokage might say even though he is not from our village he has the Will of Fire in him" once again they murmur in agreement. All of them have varying degrees of knowledge about the boy in the hospital

The hokage smiles "I agree with the seal we will put it on him as soon as possible and when he wakes up he will be adopted into my clan as my grandson. This meeting is dismissed"
