Courting

"Naruto!" I pound the others head "Get back to class!" Both me and Iruka Sensei are reprimanding Naruto. He got even more outlandish! The little punk actually put paint on the Hokage Monument! Naruto grumbles. He went a little easier on the Thirds sculpture, only giving him panda eyes, because he is my grandfather but everyone else... He made drew crap, literally, and big goofy glasses on the Second, gave a runny nose and buck teeth to the First, and turned the Fourth into a clown!

"Hmph make me. I got a jutsu that can take you down!" he makes his hand sign "Ninja Centerfold!" With a puff of smirk Naruto is gone and instead is a naked woman with long yellow hair. She is only covered by a little bit of smoke covering her important bits. She winks and blows a kiss. Iruka sensei get's a nose bleed and falls down but only black lines form on my face. "WHY ARE YOU MAKING SUCH RIDICULOUS JUTSU?!" Me and Iruka both yell at him before both of us punch the top of his head.

Sigh this boy is getting more outrageous each year that goes by. I tie him up with jutsu strings and Iruka sensei carries him back to class while I follow. "Thanks to a certain someone we will be reviewing the Transformation Jutsu. All of you one by one come up and turn into me" Naruto pales at this. It quickly becomes his turn and he turned into Iruka sensei... If Iruka sensei was stretched to be 9 feet tall looking like he was made of sticks. Of course he falls. Of course I manage to pass as I have always been good at chakra control.

Iruka watches as me and Naruto clean up the Hokage statues. Why me? It is because I don't want Naruto to do it by himself. Even though he has friends, well a friend, being me since he says Shikamaru is my friend and Sasuke is his rival, he is still down a lot. I think it is because of two things one people don't interact with him much and sometimes he even hears the adults telling their children to stay away from him and two I think he really wants a mother and father. "Hey Naruto, after this how about we get some ramen?" This always perks him up so he works faster. As promised me, him and Iruka sensei go out for ramen.

I make sure to get some take out for Sasuke as well. Making sure to store it in my storage band, using some seals I improved it so time is slowed down inside the ban so it will still be hot when we get home. I also upgraded my outfit too as I got older. I am still fond of wearing chains so my pants still have chains connecting them but I weaved some micro fiber like metal bits into all my clothes with slight magnetic properties that react to the chains so that they don't rattle when i move about. My belt is basically a bunch of shurikens made into a belt I connect them together with a magnetic buckle. I wear a thin net like vest made from small chains but one could see my chest through it. While I have a sleeves on both arms that only covers from my wrist to elbow.

"Iruka Sensei can I ask a favor" Iruka looks at Naruto "May I pleeease wear your headband?" He claps his hands making a praying gesture "This?" Iruka touches his headband "No way. Not yet. This is a symbol of adulthood and you don't get one til you graduate" Naruto slumps then orders more ramen, I'm glad Grandpa raised my allowance or else I couldn't afford this little glutton!

|The Next Day|

Finally graduation day! All we need to do is pass one last test. Making three shadow clones. Of course these aren't Jonin level ones that have physical bodies. I had already made my own Metal Clone Jutsu so it was pretty easy to do this. Most of us pass but narutos... well he made A clone just the clone looked weak and sick laying on the ground. "Oh come on Iruka. He did technically make a clone. How about letting him pass" Iruka shakes his head "No Mizuki. All the others made two clones a piece and were functional. While naruto made one but was completely useless. I can't pass him." Naruto grit his teeth and dran off. I look at Iruka and Mizuki, I still feel caution around him, then I head out.

I didn't like the look of the headband on well my head so I had it tied on my shoulder instead. When I step out the Academy doors I find Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Sasuke, Sakura, and even tenten who had already graduated. When they see my headband on my arm they all offer up their congratulations I only smile before looking over at Naruto who is sitting on a swing watching the others get congratulations from their parents. I walk over to him and I pat his shoulder. "It's alright Naruto. It is all going to work out for you. I know you are going to do great things. I can feel it" He smiles at me a little then nods and leaves. I think he just needs to blow off some steam.

"Ino I want to show you something" I shoo all the others away before covering Ino's eyes with her headband leading her away by hand I take her to the training area near the forest where there is a great expanse of green grass. I scatter some things around from my pockets. They are very small quickly hidden by the grass. "Ok you can uncover your eyes now" She lifts the band "... Grass?" She says slightly disappointed. I only smile then make hand signs "Floral Jutsu: Springtime of Youth" I shudder mentally. I hate using the word Youth because of Guy Sensei. Floral Jutsu is a branch of Plant Jutsu which is also a derivation of Wood Jutsu. Soon all those things I scattered began to grow blooming into various flowers. Hundreds of flowers bloom all around us in a circle.

Grandpa told me that the First hokage used Wood jutsu which was a type that combined Water and Earth Release. Taking from this I began to try and break it down further to make Plant jutsu, oddly enough plant jutsu though uses the same combo it can't control trees only vines and other plants. Floral Jutsu is a branch I found but it only works on flowers and seeds. "It took awhile but I made this Jutsu just for you Ino and just for today in this moment"

She covers her mouth tears coming from her eyes "It's beautiful" I put my hand on her shoulder "Well it isn't over. Turn around" Slowly her and I turn around and she sees a row of Lavender plants swaying in the wind but they are in a certain order Spelling out "Will you be my fiancee?" Ino cries harder while blushing then jumps on me "YES!" We both fall onto the flowers getting buried in their sweet scent as we kiss.
