Me, Naruto, Shikamaru, and Choji start our studies at the Academy next year. A lot has happened in the past few years. So let me fill you in since you are getting no hints from the title AH OUCH!

So a lot has happened these past few years. So let's begin off with my experiments. You know I have been very curious about this link I had to Gaara and I felt the need to study on it. Because it had to do with the mind I decided to consult the Yamanaka family. I frequently go to their shop anyway due to having a need for plants. It was there I meet this beautiful girl named Ino. We seemed to get along well and I was allowed to join in while she was taught about the intricacies of mind jutsus.

Though I wasn't allowed to know their jutsus the talks about the mind were very informatie and allowed me to make my own jutsu. I call it Mind Tether jutsu. Using my connection to Gaara as my model I made this Jutsu so that I can make a bridge to others minds and see inside their heads. It's a very invasive jutsu though as it allows one to walk in anothers Mind Maze. I would hate for this to fall into the wrong hands. That is why I put a seal on my mind so that even if I am captured no one can get this technique. I heard there are other jutsus like this, mainly for interrogation but my jutsu seems to go a bit further than that as chakra can go across my bridges. In theory as long as both parties are willing they can share chakra with each other no matter the distance.

Making my own Jutsu was interesting so I decided to study and make some more. Grandpa said to me that chakra has elemental natures so he had me use something called Chakra paper. When I inserted my chakra into it the effects were... Well it crumbled and crinkled a third of it split off another art caught fire like a match and a small corner of it became yet. From what grandpa says I have high affinity for earth and lightning jutsu while wind, fire and water are lesser. He was shocked too since very little people had a natural affinity to all 5 elements.

After that I began to learn about Elemental Releases. From what Grandpa tells me there are other Unique Elemental Releases called Kekkei Genkai one of which I have called Metal Release. But there are other like Magnet Release, Boil Release, Dust Release, and many others according to grandpa these releases are used by other Kages. I was very interested in these unique ones. How many combinations can one have? I was going to find out at some point.

My days at the blacksmith have gone well. I can handle the flames better now and Tensu says I am no longer a beginner but an adept. He says there are a few levels to black smith. Apprentice, Novice, Adept, Expert, Master, and Grand Master. From what he tells me Grand Masters made the best weapons including the 7 swords that the 7 swordsman use. I would love to get my hands on those to study. It seems to be a trait of mine that whenever I hear of something that interest me I do all I can to learn about it. Tensu himself is the only Master smith in the village. From what I am told it has been many years since there was a Grand Master.

My experiments with seals has gone well too. Instead of carrying around a scroll I managed to make a wristband that can store items inside of it. It is a great alternative since you have to drop blood on to bind it to yourself. No one but myself can use this wristband but I only managed to make one due to I used my own Nin Metals to make it. It takes a lot of chakra just to make a small amount of Nin Metal.

Other than that my Medical Ninjutsu is coming along greatly. I took puppet Jutsu and fused it with medical ninjutsu so that I can heal multiple people at the same time. Best part is I don't have to hide my eyes anymore. Grandfather told me they are new dojutsu and since they seem to let me see what we dubbed Strings of Life we decided to call it Seishigan or Life and Death Wheel. It really helps since I can connect a chakra thread into the darker strings to heal vital points. It still takes a lot of chakra but it seems my chakra keeps getting larger as I grow older. I feel that it is coming from my connection with Gaara

It is late night and I am still at the hospital. My four star iris spins around. People don't seems to mind it anymore since my ocular jutsu can't actually harm them and in fact I can use it to save many people on the verge of death. Well it was quite until a loud banging is heard one of the Anbu brought in a boy with black hair covered in blood. I rushed over to see what was going on and then froze. "Sasuke?" I come over quickly asking what happened my face showing more despiar every second.

I am told Itachi has betrayed the village. Not only has he betrayed us he killed every last member of the Uchiha clan including his mother and father, not even letting newborns off. The only survivor is Sasuke. Who seems to be having a nightmare from all his trembling. This is the night that will be known in history as the Uchiha Massacre. Grandpa arrives shortly to see what the situation is and is told what I was.

I look at Sasuke who is trembling and crying but unable to wake up. I have only ran into Sasuke a handful of times maybe not even five still to have this happen to him who was so cheerful and so proud of his big brother it seems very unfair for his fate to be this. I want to do something to help him. "Grandpa. I have a secret technique that may be able to get us the details of this. I wish to use it on Sasuke"

Grandpa looks at me "Marix this isn't a good time for this" I look at him "Itachi knew genjutsu very well and look at Sasuke right now. Who is to say he isn't suffering from it right now and may cause damage to us later" I retort trying to make a logical argument to this. Reluctantly Grandpa gives in so I began to make my hand signs "Mind Tether technique: Walk Among the Sands!" I touch my palm to Sasukes head and my consciousness enters his mind.

What I see is awful. It was a front row ticket straight into the massacre. I watched the blood pour onto the floor, the screams of woman and children, the begging and crying. I watched as Itachi approached Sasuke after killing his mother and father. Telling Sasuke to hate him and I thought it was over but Itachi looked directly at me "You shouldn't be here" He said in a cold voice and I trembled. The next 72 hours were the worst experience I have ever had the misfortune of knowing. While in the real world only a few seconds pass before I coughed up blood all over myself and collapsed to the floor.
