Arc 1.7

Nicolás patiently waited for June at the holy ground. In the last two days, he has been revealing the plans of Monero who is planning to get Noyer and Linux to fight each other to then come in and attack. Well, Nicolás knew that Monero has not yet got close to that but he made it seem that it was closer then Monero planned. Nicolás knew only a common enemy can bring Linux and Noyer to peace.

"General Nicolás it's nice to see you without your gear" June greets cheerfully. Nicolás gives a nod in agreement and gets up.

"General June it's nice to see you without the vicious grin when in battle" Nicolás jokes with him. June laughs and puts his arm around Nicolás. The two are actually good friends even though they are enemies in battle. The two actually like each other company which baffles other people.

"Of course! When will you lose that cold gaze why don't you smile for me instead?" June jokingly asks, Nicolás tilts his head towards him and shakes his head.

"I don't really smile unless the joy I feel is too hard for me to control" Nicolás answers June with a small smirk. While pushing June hand to get out of his hold to take a seat. He made a gesture for June to take the seat ahead of him.

"I see so what can I do to get you to smile?" June asks curiously while looking at Nicolás.

"Hm good question but right now I have a serious matter to talk to you about," Nicolás says as he looks straight at June. June soon lost his cheerful aura and replaced with seriousness.

"What is wrong Nicolás? Were you finally asked to kill us the Thornton? Did you have no way out this time?" Asked June, Nicolás shook his head.

"No, I would never obey such an order. The reason I called you here the Monero have planned an attack on Linux and Noyer. Well with clues I found they have made it seem an attack in one of our ports was done by Noyer. However, they left something that made me doubt it one of the people dropped this insignia which doesn't belong to either Noyer or Linux. I investigated this and this is from a secret group in Monero who work for the Emperor of Monero. This isn't the only isolated incident happening there was also an attack in the orphanage and plazas around Linux. I doubt some of those were planned by Noyer as you would never allow an attack in the orphanage no matter what. As an agreement between the Montes and Thornton" Nicolás explains. June's eyes squint thinking back in the recent attacks on Noyer. There was an attack on the water supply which Nicolás would never attack as he would never allow the common people to suffer. He first thought it was an attack by Linux just that Nicolás wasn't informed. That the Emperor sent it to be done without Nicolás knowing. Now he knew it probably wasn't so as the Emperor in Linux trusts Nicolás a lot.

"What is Monero planning Nicolás?" Asks June he knew that Nicolás would never ask to meet unless something big is happening.

"The first thing they are doing is getting Linux and Noyer to fight each other. The second step is to get the Montes and Thornton to break their agreement. They would have made it seem that a Montes killed a Thornton or vice versa. This would cause both Linux and Noyer to go in a full out war. Finally, once we both very weak or one triumph over the other they will swoop in and attack defeating both Linux and Noyer" Nicolás explains. Three of his men come down giving him a couple of scrolls with information and evidence.

"Those bastards! I knew they were too quiet so this was their plan. I will crush them I was plotting against the wrong enemy!" June angrily shouts while slamming his hand on the table causing it to break.

"Neither Linux or Noyer can beat Monero by themselves. As they have a much bigger population. The only reason they haven't attacked was that they are far and to send reinforcements for them is difficult. As they have to cross either the ocean or go through the mountains. That will take to many resources and there is a huge risk they will fail. Unless they get their enemy Honto to join them but we both know that will never happen" Nicolás explains. June's people come down to replace the table.

"Are you really asking what I think you're asking our respective Emperors hate each other guts!" June asks in pure shock how will it be possible for Linux and Noyer to get along.

"I have a candidate in my mind Emperor Evan is planning to step down soon. This Prince already agreed to get a peace equal and fair treaty. All that is needed is for your side to accept" Nicolás explains. June sits back with a thinking look.

"Emperor Kent is already close to his death bed he has been holding his seat for a long time now. The only ones who have the ability to get his seat now are his grandsons. The only one who will be happy to agree to this does not have much political power. I will try to get him chosen to be the emperor. What's our timeframe?" Asks June with a worried look he knew it had to be fast cause Noyer and Linux relation is getting worse.

"Unfortunately 4 months from now that's when they are planning to attack the capital of either Noyer or Linux. I'm unsure as I only got a hold of some part of the information" Nicolás explains. June's eyes widen in terror that soon! Who knew Monero had such plans under them!

"I will try to complete it by then! General Nicolás we will not allow this to happen! We will protect our homes no matter the cost" June declares.

"Of course we will not allow such a thing, General June" Nicolás answers with a smile. June is shocked by the smile and couldn't help but blush a bit. He sends back a big smile at Nicolás. He always knew that Nicolás is a beauty, even when battling him Nicolás looked incredible.

"Nicolás you should smile more" June cheerfully says. Nicolás only gives him the stink eye.

"No need I don't want any more girls chasing me" Nicolás answers seriously.

"Don't forget the male pursuers" June adds between laughs.

"I'm not that handsome to turn men gay" Nicolás responds while rolling his eyes. June stops laughing and looks at him with a shocked look. He puts his hand on Nicolás shoulders.

"Nicolás you seriously don't understand how beautiful you are! Both men and women would be willing to wed you! Even I get flustered by your beauty sometimes! You do have the power to turn straight men bent for you! So be careful and don't get eaten!" June exclaims as he shakes Nicolás.

"Stop that" Nicolás scolds. June stops shaking Nicolás and gives a sheepish look. Nicolás shakes his head but he almost started to chuckle. He only let out an amused grin instead as he smiled enough.

"Sadly I have to go! I don't want to leave but duty calls goodbye my beautiful Princess General Nicolás!" June cries out as he turns around dramatically. Nicolás shakes his head and heads back home to his residence.

[User you are doing very well in your mission. I came to inform you that Luciana is plotting something from what I have seen. When you told me to monitor her I thought it was unnecessary but I saw her writing up a plan. Which is seducing Prince Lance in the upcoming ball that's all I could see as I couldn't see the whole plan. There was also some writing poisoning the emperor I only saw it briefly as she burned after she wrote it. In her planner she only put some words like in the ball date there is SL and PE]

"She probably planning to spike Prince Lance drink and while his desires in control she will seduce him. What a cliche plan but knowing Prince Lance he will make her at least a concubine in his home. She will probably poison Emperor Evan and blame me somehow getting revenge on both me and the Emperor" Nicolás explains to the system in his thoughts.

"Keep monitoring her tell me what she buys I want to see what she is gonna do. For now, I will get my most trusted people to get antidotes to many poisons secretly. So I can cure the Emperor right away if I'm too late to help him" Nicolás states to the system.
