Episode 4: You Want to be My Oppa?

"The truth is... " Y/N said reluctantly.

"What is it already?" Jimin was impatient.

"I know that this is selfish of me to request but can we go out on dates?" Y/N shyly said.

Jimin is puzzled. In his mind, 'How can he go outside nowadays without getting identified?'

"You know that's too hard to do." Jimin puts a hand on his nape.

"I shouldn't have asked." Y/N pouted. "I'm sorry about that too." Although she's just Jimin's wife in paper, he cannot help but to be a bit sad too.

"I guess we could go to places that only a few people would get to know BTS." Jimin said.

Y/N sighed, "That will interfere with your hectic schedule. I would be a burden."

"Well. I'm sure we'll find ways." Jimin smiled at her.

"Uhm. Jimin. Since we're not romantically involved yet can we be friends first?" Y/N shyly stated.

"Sure. Friends first." They both shook their hands. Y/N left the living room.

Jimin stood up and asked, "Hey where are you going?"

Y/N shouted from the bedroom, "I'm just getting something. Stay there."

Jimin pouted and waited. He held the gift he's going to give to Y/N. "I hope she will like this."

Y/N came back with a book in her hand, "There. I wrote that novella."

Jimin looked at it. It was entitled: Unattainable Star. Jimin looked at Y/N.

"Please read that. It was authored by **** **** ****." Y/N said.

Jimin's not a fool and RM told him about Y/N and her career as a novelist.

"This is you right? **** **** **** is your pen name?" Jimin raised n eyebrow.

Y/N is shocked, "You knew about my works?"

Jimin laughed, "No. RM told me that you were an author and that is your pen name. What is this book about?"

"Please just read it. It's only under 150 pages. You can finish that in three hours or so."

"I'm not staying her for a long time." Jimin stated.

"Okay. Just promise that you will read it okay?" Y/N told him.

"Okay." He placed the book on the table and handed Y/N the paperbag that held his gift for her.

Y/N opened the big paperbag. "This bag is heavy you know."

She took out albums. "Whoa? Are these all the editions of the albums? I never had the chance to buy a single one. I just stuck to music streaming."

"At least you didn't download it for free 😂," Jimin laughed.

She took out lots of stuff out. "O my."

"An external drive? It's pink. It's so cute."

"You told me you're a prof so you need lots of researches so you might be needing this while travelling." Jimin smiled at her.

"This is really sweet." Y/N blushed.

"Thanks." Jimin blushed and scratched his nose.

"What is this?" Y/N gestured to what it looks like a pot of flowers that is made of plastic and rubbers.

"I saw these on the online store a month ago. I found them cute and thought that if I sent you flowers they will wilt but flower pens would not. You're a teacher so you'll need many pens."

"Sweet. Good thing you didn't sent me flowers. I'm quite allergic to most of the pollen of flowers." Y/N as amazed by his gift.

"Noted." Jimin fixed his hair.

Y/N took another item from the bag. "Oh a cup."

"It's a special cup." Jimin grinned.

Y/N read the instructions of the cup, "Once it is exposed to a liquid a message pops out of the bottom of the cup. When you take the last sip, you can still see the text."

"Try it later when you get a cup of coffee." Jimin looked at the cup too.

"I wish you had your own cup too." Y/N frowned.

"I ordered mine too. Don't worry." Jimin smiled.

Y/N took another item from the bag, "Wow. It's a planner."

Jimin took the planner from her hands and explained its complexities, "It's a multi-planner."

"What?" Y/N questioned.

Jimin knows Y/N can afford these things but since she's too busy she might not have searched for cute stuff. "It's a planner with a built in powerbank, flashdrive and sticky notes, etc. It's basically what you need since you're busy."

Y/N cannot believe her eyes. Jimin is the best giver ever. "You are so nice. I mean these are the best gifts I have ever received."

"I'm glad you like them." Jimin got the bag.

You forgot one more. He gave Y/N the item.

"O My." She as shocked. It was a luxury brand pouch.

"That's for you." Jimin smiled. "Open the purse."

Y/N opened and saw five concert tickets to one of BTS' future concerts. "Wow. I..."

"I gave you the tickets a long way ahead of time so that means you can make amends to your busy schedule." Jimin pointed at the tickets.

"I guess I'll have to find time for my husband for now on." Y/N teased.

"Hmmm. So you're saying that I'm your husband now? I thought were going to be friends first?"

Y/N grinned. "Did I said that? Okay Jimin-ssi."

"Hey. I'm older than you." Jimin teased.

"You wanted to be my oppa?" Y/N fixed her hair and winked at him. She laughed so hard after.

Jimin laughed his heart out. "To be honest, Y/N I thought you were just a straight-faced smartpants with a personality as flat as a cardboard."

Y/N was frozen. She cannot tell if she's going to be mad or laugh.

"I was wrong Y/N." There was a long silence between them. It seems like they were seemingly forming a connection with each other. They were staring into each others eyes as if they were finding something.

"Hmmmm." Y/N puts a hand on Jimin's shoulder. The atmosphere was pretty awkward.

"Yes?" Jimin questioned.

"Do you still love your ex-girlfriend?" Y/N asked.
