14 Don't call me cute

It was almost midnight, when I started thinking about Jane again. I've been trying to restrain myself from thinking about her and get some decent sleep but I couldn't. I couldn't help myself.

I couldn't get to erase the way she looked at me so shyly and smiled so sweetly, the way she hugged me tight when she felt danger creep up on us, and of course, our first meet.

I can never forget about yesterday...

"No, Ronald, conceal it, don't feel it~" and I continued singing the song.

I can I can I can I can I can—

"I can't..." I sighed at myself in the mirror and made a face before storming out of the room I was assigned to for the week. I trip on several carpet folds and finally reach the room where the scent of my mate lingers strongly in there.

"Jane!" I whisper shout at the frightened little omega.

That's when I realised...

She wasn't alone.

"Oh? Look who's here~" the girl teases my mate.

"If it isn't the hero to save our little princess~" another one teases her, pinching the side of her waist playfully. Jane giggles sweetly before showing them the door I was standing at.

"Out, ladies" she says, looking at the three.

I jump to the side and let the girls out of the room, but the last one whispers something too close to my face before leaving.

"Use protection." and the door slams shut.

I can already feel my cheeks furiously reddening as I stand in front of her in an awkward stance.

"I- uh..." I don't have any words at the moment...

"Yes?"

"I...um, I missed you..." I finally breath the words out of my chest. Jane blinks a couple of times, processing my words. And of course, she opens her arms for me.

My awkwardness vaporizes as quickly and I fall into her embrace, bringing her down with my weight until her back touched the mattress of her bed.

"Hello..." I mewl in her ear. She giggles again and wraps her arms and legs around my body, making me go crazy.

"Hi, Ron." we both giggle, because there wasn't actually a reason for us to meet like this in the middle of the night.

I inhale her scent.

Peaches and bath bombs...

"You smell terrific, baby girl." I compliment her.

"I have my baths before the night, that's why." she answers me and cuddles me closer, her head buried in my chest.

She emits small sounds of affection and joy from the back of her throat and I couldn't help but coo at my cute, sweet lady.

"You're so cuddly..." she says, her voice much lower than a whisper.

"I want cuddles..." she demands suddenly.

She wants cuddles? Then she will get cuddles.

I make her whine when I push myself off from the bed, but only to pull her up and carry her bridal style to the middle of the huge bed. I lay her down and I soon lay behind her, covering us with the duvet and pulling her in my embrace.

"Hmm...hehe" she giggles into my warmth, her hand wrapping around mine which rests on her waist.

"This is nice." Jane says, wiggling around in happiness as I chuckle at her coyness. I raise my other hand in the air and twist the night lamp dim, offing the lights in the room on queue.

"So, how was your day, sweetness?"

"Wonderful. But I still wonder..." she pauses, turning around to face her body towards me.

"...how come you don't know me? I mean, I'm the princess of the wolves. You should be knowing that." she says cutely. I widen my eyes and laugh at what I'm about to say.

"Believe me or not honey, I'm COMPLETELY oblivious to the outside world. I've never learnt how to use this device..." I pull out the phone I had in my pajama pockets. Jane covers her mouth and snorts into it, trying to hold her laughter but eventually fails.

"Are you serious!?! You don't know how to use a PHONE!? Whoa...you're really living under the rock, aren't you?"

"I am. Unapologetically." she giggles again, shaking her head.

"But because my parents never told me how to use it, neither did I have time for all this...to learn. And most importantly, my parents warned me about the dangers of using the mobiles. And...social platforms...ah what was that again?" I try to recollect the name of that application.

"Ah! Instgrama! And one more...yeah! Facebooks! And a few more I can't remember..."

As soon as I end, Jane bursts into a fit of laughter, rolling around the bed as I look at her clueless. Has she lost her mind? Maybe.

"BWAHAHAHAHA!!!"

"Jane...?"

"Oh my gosh Ron it's Instagram! Not Instgrama! And Facebook is singular, not plural!" she says and continues to laugh her lungs out.

After awhile, she seems to calm down and my embarrassment begins to wash over me like a wave.

"Oops."

"I swear you're so cute when you're clueless, Ron."

Ohoho she didn't just call me cute alright~
