7 'Forbidden' Alley

After a few hours and getting showered with love in tons on loads by my parents, Jane and I finally exit my house safely and in one piece.

You see, my mom is a very caring and kind person. Her only bad habit was that she LOVED filling her guests' stomachs until they practically explode. My father's just the same, so Jane had to take in the double doses of my parents' love.

And not to mention that they just came back from shopping AND they loved her so much because she was such a sweet, cutie pie.

"Ugh, I can't walk any further Ron. I'm done. I'm sitting down right here!" Jane exclaims and was just about to sit down in the middle of the pathway.

"Whoa whoa whoa! Jane! Haha not here please! Get up, you're embarrassing us!" I make the omega stand up back on her feet with no much effort.

We begin to laugh and a few wolf 'paparazzi' try to invade our space.

Oh boy, we're getting on the headlines of news by tomorrow...

"Jane. Run" I say quietly, taking her hand in mine and dragging her away from the many people clicking our photos. The crowd immediately gathers and runs behind us, some even turning into wolves to reach us faster.

"Dammit!" I exclaim and flick my wrist swiftly, pulling Jane close to me and drifting away with the air. It was so swift and smooth that it looked like we disappeared in the air.

Now the people are going to use their technology and stuff to slow down the video to show the world my magic.

But at least we're safe now. It doesn't matter to me that this small incident is going to become viral worldwide. My mate is safe, my family is safe, and that's all I ever want.

"Whoa, just- thank god. Where are we now?" Jane forms a series of thoughts and speaks it out loud. I check the surroundings and find nothing to confirm on where we came. But we headed to the south side of the city, I was sure of that.

"Ron...I don't feel good..." she comments, her voice small and frail as she clutches my shirt tightly in her hands. Now looking at the alley, it looks very suspicious.

Worn out, patched buildings, gloomy atmosphere, and to top it off, no actual residents are found. I shush Jane and keep whispering little nothings in her ear.

There's this annoying thing about my powers.

I take some time to restore my energy and use it in bulks. Considering that I used my somewhat teleportation two times already, the third is going to take awhile. I just don't want Jane to be worried, so we don't move and inch and awkwardly stand in each other's embrace in the middle of the abandoned street.

"W-what is this place even?"

"I don't know Jane. But please don't make any loud noises okay? Do you trust me?"

"I- I do."

I can't risk closing my eyes to help my body regain its energy faster because many, many things can happen in just a blink on the eye. I have to stay cautious, no matter what.

I can feel Jane's heartbeat on my own chest, and it's not anywhere near good. She's too panicked about the situation I got us into. And I have to apologize for my reckless act of escaping the paparazzi.

"I'm so sorry Jane. Please don't hate on me. I'm so sorry..." I whisper very slowly into her ears, holding her closer and closer to my body. She shakes her head very slowly, not wanting to speak her mind out about it.

Or maybe she isn't ready to forgive me yet.

*Howling*

We both flinch, Jane even more so, at the sudden and loud howling of a wolf. It came from up somewhere, and I miss her forehead when she almost begins to cry out of fear.

"Baby it's okay, it's alright. Just a few more seconds."

I don't like the way I sounded. So unsure...

I try harder and harder to retain my energy as soon as possible because the situation is getting worse as the time ticks by.

"Jane, baby, please don't cr—" another howl cuts me off from assuring Jane. And now I feel like crying too.

It hasn't even been a whole day since I discovered my mate and I have already put us in danger. Grave danger, if it turns out to be so.

"That's it. That's it. Just a few seconds!" I anxiously exclaim and whisper shout. I'm too scared to close my eyes to finish the process earlier.

"That's it!" I yell loudly this time, feeling my powers surge in me again and I flicker my hand in the air. We levitate a few meters above the ground and we escape the area within a jiff.

Jane breaks down as soon as we set our feet on the ground, back to my parent's garden.

"Oh no, no. Shush baby. It's over. I'm so sorry Jane. I promise it's never going to happen like that ever again." she's still in my arms, weeping like a child. My baby must be so scared. My head starts to spin because of the excessive amounts of energy I used today. Jane, who

"I- It's fine, Ron, I was j-just scared..."

"Me too," I say.

"For you..." I add, kissing her forehead reassuringly. My mom is altered by our sudden presence and bursts out through the back door, jogging towards us.

"Oh my god, what happened?" she asks after seeing Jane crying her eyes out and me looking drained by too much.

"Ronald what did you do?" I don't have the energy to speak to her, so I mind link with my mom. She steps back a little as if she knew something about that place.

"Oh, lord..."
