MARTHA POV

"Thank you so much Gust, despite what happens today, you really make my Jan happy, also give my thanks to Ms. Selene,” I said to Gust

“No problem Martha and I am sorry if my cousin did not join us, she is just like that, has no interest mingling with others” Gust explain

“Well it seems and I understand that part though I don’t know why she is always moody, she is really different earlier, she is so brave facing all the bank robbers and makes a deal with them, I am really scared but it subsided when I saw her, I just don’t know why she let them flee with the money!” I explained

“Don’t worry the authorities is doing all their best to caught them, anyway I will let her know what you said, and it is so late now I guess you guys need to go home” Gust said and offer to bring us home

When we got home he said goodbye to us since he still has something to do and Jan waves goodbye and thanks to him.

It's been a long day today, even we have been in that situation good thing we still manage to buy what we need especially my clothes for tomorrow, Gust reminds me that I should be all prepared at exactly 9 am, I should be at Ms. Selene’s house.

Before entering the house I just noticed something, the shadow that I usually see in the electric post is gone, I am always aware of that shadow but I just ignore it, I am thinking it is just some stray cat roaming around but sometimes I am surprised that in my peripheral vision it looks like a human shadow but that is really impossible like how on earth there will be a human at the top of the post? So I just don’t mind it, it's just surprising that it is not present tonight.

Anyway, it's been a long day today, I am really exhausted so I enter the house and try to sleep.

SELENE POV

"Boss, I already send to you the picture of the woman, as you can see she is dead now" The last few words that I heard before I passed out, as I close my eyes a sudden burst of strength flows all over my body and I know this feeling…its already 12 am.

The three-armed man was ready to go and leave me here when they heard me cough

"Ehheemmm..."

The three-man turnaround but they did not find anything, I assume they are thinking it’s just their imagination so they continue to walk but they hear another voice, and this time I let out a word that stopped them from walking.

"Leaving already?" I said standing at their back

They are all shocked to see me alive with the blood all over my shirt and jeans, the wound from their shot is still visible to my head, arms and legs.

They were terrified making sure that I was shot to death and I am not even breathing earlier.

"H-How come you are still alive??" the leader asks

I did not answer him or even move to where I stand, I am just staring at them while the bullets from my wounds keep coming out and it heals at the same time, they cannot believe what they are seeing; now their eyes are widened seeing my eyes turn into red and my fangs come out.

"V- Vampire!!!! aaahhhhh...get away from us!!!" he shouts his lung out then starts to run together with his two men.

I move quickly and appear in front of them; they were frightened and trip themselves over to the ground.

I grab the arm of the leader and from there I pulled his arm until it breaks, the screeching sound of his breaking skin and bones surrounds the whole area, now he lost his left arm then I grab his head and crush it until his brain and eyes popped out.

Now I turn my gaze to the other two, they witnessed what happened to their leader and was stoned at their position, scared of what just happen they can’t even move especially when I am just an inch from them, their body is shaking and they sweat all over their faces.

"Now is the turning of the table…let see. What should I do to the both of you?" I said with a creepily smile encircling the two terrified men.

I stop from moving and face them then smirk.

All you can hear from the abandoned old building is their scream begging for their lives.

A few hours passed,.

"Sen Where are you?" Gust ask calling on my cellphone

"I was kidnapped," I said that confused Gust

"Wow, you were kidnapped? You don’t seem to be kidnapped but rather the one who will kidnap hahahhah" Gust said still can't believe what I said then burst a laugh.

And when he is about to ask me again, I suddenly appear in his room

"Oh sh*t, it's real, wait, how?" Gust said then quickly holds my arms then guide me to sit

"I was abducted before 12 midnight, I don't have the strength yet so they easily knocked me down at first" I explained.

Gusts give me a bottle of blood and drink it up quickly, I feel relaxed and my eyes turn to normal colour again.

"I'm sorry Sen I didn't sense it, I don't have the power yet that time," Gust said feeling sorry

I slowly stand up then tap Gust's shoulder it's my way of saying don’t worry anymore.

I get out of his room and walks towards my room, Gust customized a separate room for me in his house and the same goes

with me whenever he wants to stay at my house.

MARTHA POV

Waking up as early as 6 am makes me really want to go back to my bed, somehow my body is excited about my new job, well excited at the same time a little nervous thinking that it is Ms. Selene, my new boss!

Looking at my new clothes it is really new to me wearing all of this, I mean it's been really a while since I got to wear these types of attire.

Most are plain pencil cut dresses and skirt paired with blouses, seriously I don’t know what to wear with all of this, what

I should choose, though Gust told me that all of this suits me well.

Finally. after choosing what to wear I fix the breakfast for Jan and for Justin, then I receive a text from Gust.

“Mar, exact 8 am the driver will arrive make sure you are ready to go”

From: Gust

I hurriedly fix myself since I will be picking up by her driver, Gust also mention to me that I will always be near Ms. Selene in all her appointment, thinking about that makes me really nervous, I feel like there’s a hundred butterfly roaming around my stomach, honestly, I am afraid to make a mistake, Ms. Selene can’t accept any mistakes pretty sure I will be scolded most of the time! Sigh…

At exact 8 am the driver arrive to get me, it only takes a few minutes and we are already at Ms. Selene’s house, it is so big, I remember my life before, my family’s house, I used to live in this kind of house though indeed Ms. Selene’s house is really huge, a typical mansion-like.

The driver guides me to get in the house and the head maid approaches us.

"Good morning" I greeted her, I guess she is in the ’50s but still has a beautiful face.

“Good morning too Ma’am, have a seat, later the Madame will be here in a short while,” the head maid said and I was stunned hearing how she addressed Ms. Selene, “Madame” I mean it is too formal for her age and her looks.

While I am arguing with myself about the Madame thing, I saw Ms. Selene walking down her grand stairs, I quickly stood up as a sign of respect or I am just really nervous….whatever!

"ahmm Good morning ma’am" I greet her

"Good morning, here are my other schedules aside from what Gust gave you" she greets me as well then handed me the folder of schedules.

My eyes were buried at her, she is so gorgeous as hell, how I wish I can be as gorgeous her, her hair is tied up like a ponytail, she is wearing a fitted coat and sexy slacks, formal to look at yet so hot and sexy.

Upon getting out, the driver opens the door of the car for us, I was about to ride at the front seat when she stopped me.

"Seat beside me" she seriously said without looking at me instead she is looking outside the window.

I swallow my throat while entering the backseat and seat beside her.

Honestly, I am getting Goosebumps sitting beside her, I don’t know how to approach or what kind of approach do it need to give her, I can answer and follow all her commands unless she will be the one to talk to me first but if I will be the one to initiate, I don’t think so…

I am in the middle of a conversation with myself when she speaks to me.

"So, how are you? Are you all okay now?" she said while still looking outside the window

"ahmm, I am okay now Ms. Selene, and thank you for what you did, for saving me" I respond

"I need to save my mall from embarrassment, and about the money, you will pay it to anytime that I want you to do something for me, I know you won’t disagree since you can’t pay me in an instant," she said that shocks me

I felt silent hate for her, I knew it! She planned it all along; there is a reason why she helped me in the first place, to make me her puppet that will follow all her commands, she has the hold on me now, I can’t do anything about it anymore damn!

I didn’t make any expression but to agree with her

"Yes ma'am" I respond

"Good" I saw her just smiling at me and I hate that smile, she let the robbers flee because of that! She really wants a hold on me!

The whole time while we are on our way filled with silence, I don’t like to talk and I bet she doesn’t want either!

I want to regret the feeling of appreciation for what she did, though I don't have a choice anymore to go with the flow and now that I need a new job as well.

Dang! get a hold, Martha! you need to be strong! you still have something to do, saving Dad from that evil woman Natasha!
