1 Chapter 1 : It All Started Like This!!

"God damn this work is killing me..."
On a certain place on the planet in a country xxx and main city xxx, a figure was looking through the windows as the sun started rising up indicating the end of his shift.
At the same time as the thought of his shift entered his mind, the door opened revealing the figure of a co-worker...
Yes, you figured it out, its the guy that will take over now...
"Morning Seion!!!" He said with stars in his eyes while Seion looked at him as if he wanted to kill him!!!
"Morning..." he answered with a very tired sigh and with black bags under his eyes...
"You don't look so well. I hope you didn't slack off on your duties..." He told him with a serious face...
'If I kill him now would they know it was me??' is what crossed his mind...
"Hai, don't worry, i did everything, therefore, lets check out my Security card so i can go and take a rest..." he replied shaking as he shook his head eagerly to leave this hell...
"Good, good, lets do that." Nodding to him...
Following our small but tiring exchange of words at least for him caused this bastard to smile without a care in the world...
Obviously, it's because he's working in the morning and is the most wonderful shift as he has all the time in the world when his shift ends in eight hours...
Going through the motions and finishing up, Seion left his work and through a few fucking delays, as he needed to take the metro, bus and other means of transportation, he finally arrived at his humble home...
As he pulled out his keys from his pocket, he heard someone speaking up to him from behind...
"Hey, Seion!!!"
'Fuck my life!! Why!! Why me!!!' he cursed in his life for his damn luck...
"Oi, Seion!!"
"What is it, Bill??" he spoke in a dead tone...
"Ai, you've become quite dead huh?? Want me to order a coffin??" Said while sneering at him...
"With everything that is happening around us, I might need that but more than me I believe you need it more..."
"After all you never keep the distance and failsafes for Covid..." he retorted back...
Bill's face twitched as he realised that Seion directly cursed at him to get the Covid and fuck himself in a hole deep within the earth...
Yes, throughout 2020 everything changed in our lives for half the human race on earth believes in this shit and tries to cope up until now...
A year has gone by and only know they founded the hospitals with the vaccines while many died and many are carriers of it...
It wouldn't be a surprise to Seion if the dead suddenly starts crawling from their graves and have an apocalypse...
Seion's eyes glowed for a second as he would love for that to happen, as he would quit his current job and become a freelance hunter putting bullets in the skulls of zombies...
He also has a long blacklist of fuckers that needed to be put out on his agenda...
Unfortunately, everything about your expectations in life goes wrong, you become numb to the point of apathy, everything turns grey with all the misery and other factors and while living your life or trying you still gain nothing...
What happens then is that you finally realise that this world is nothing but a shitty reality...
Getting out of his long monologue in his thoughts, Seion saw Bill looking at him before speaking up...
"Whatever man we both will die at some point, but as I drink coffee and smoke, I'm immortal you know??"
"Oh, and by immortal I mean I have a longer lifespan, I will still die after you..." he said with pride in his voice...
Looking at him as he had a smug face while having a poker face, Seion completely ignored him and opened the door to enter inside...
He yawned as he wanted to sleep and therefore he shut down any attempts from Bill to speak to him and shut the door as he locked it up...
"Ah... WAIT!!!"
Gusts of winds passed by carrying leaves in the air as Bill stood there all alone outside the courtyard...
"Damn it!!! I should have asked first about the mouse... Now how can I play Titan??"
Gritting his teeth and clenching his hands in annoyance he ended up taking a 180 turn in attitude as he sighed in the end...
"Whatever I'll ask tomorrow..."
Back in the house, Seion was taking off his clothes for a quick shower while thinking about many different things and at the same nothing...
You ask how??
It's simple because despite being dead tiring and his body is shutting down...
His fucking brain is working overdrive!!!
After finishing up, he dragged his body into the bed and laid down while entering a state of nothingness...
He deeply thought it was a Cultivation kind of thing but unfortunately, he realised it was his brain fucking him up once again...

Finally falling asleep while managing to see the time being 9:00 in the morning, he struggled to open his eyes feeling something was buzzing...
'Wtf!! Let me sleep!!'
He slowly looked at the phone next to him and noticed that fifteen hours have passed...
His whole body jerked up as he didn't even realise he rotted away in the bed for he felt it was 1-second give and take...
"I'm FUCKING LATE TO WORK!!!"
Quickly answering the phone and rushing to wear whatever was on the floor and with inhuman reactions that he never realised he had, Seion left the house to take a Taxi and rush for work...
Going to the office 30 minutes late, he apologised to his beautiful co-worker and promised her to come an hour early tomorrow which she accepts and managed to save a bit of his face there...
"Phew..."
"God damn this work is killing me..."
"For real, sleeping 15 hours... Sigh..."
"But still, miss Lana was quite cute today..."
Yes, her name was Lana Pierce, a girl being born in a common family trying to pass her life by not worrying her parents...
She is as beautiful as a flower with purple hair reaching her shoulder, light blue eyes and light pink lips...
She is 26 years old, 4 years younger than Seion and has a well-cultivated body for her age making her quite attractive and simple...
You could say that she is the embodiment of the next door's flower...
There was another flower but unfortunately, she left after hooking up with someone and that bastard Lance, that keeps coming with a smile on his face every morning without a care in the world popped up...
As time passed slowly, it was now 2 o'clock at midnight...
While getting bored he took his phone and opened one of his favourites games from THQ back in the good days...
Since he slept for so long he opted his brain to go Over Mode Glitch!!!
Meaning he strained his eyes as well as his brain and alternate his focus towards the cameras, as he had to watch a few secret and important areas and playing the game...
This will help him tire out and when he gets back home, hopefully, he will sleep easier than today...
Unfortunately, though he never got to start playing as the moment he tapped to start and the icon of loading appeared on the screen his phone froze...
'Fuck my life!! Why!! Why me!!!'
He started raining curses here and there yelling loudly in the office as none could hear him...
It took him a while to calm down and as he did, he noticed his phone was buzzing in the desk where he had placed next to a laptop as he didn't want to throw it from his hands in his anger...
He has no money for another one...
On the upper part of the frozen phone, a small window popped up showing him that someone was calling him...
He was impressed, the moment he saw this...
Why you ask??
Because the game was still in a frozen state and supposedly the phone should have been as well, so how come someone is calling??
Furthermore, he also thought about the situation of the game freezing because of someone trying to call him but threw that thought out of the window and let it crash down on the street with 25th-floor skydiving...
And he did that because the phone number was 10 digits and all of them was zero...
He then took it once again in his hands and contemplating, if he should pick it up due to the weird number of 0's...
However, he soon took the call as he realised that it has been several minutes and is still ringing...
Placing it sideways from his ears to his mouth, he spoke up and only got a weird sound as an answer...
"Hello??"
