New day, new adventure

Once in the room, everyone gets ready for bed: Leah and Isabel in the double bed, and Eva and Lucien in the double bed.

The next morning, the group is sitting at the table of the suite, where a big breakfast for all of them has been brought by a Rugarith clanmate.

"Okay, what do we do today?" asks Leah.

"We have to go to the Arena so I can be inscribed for the fight," says Eva.

"You are right. But first, I think we should go to Lokedall's workshop. Maybe we can find something interesting and useful," suggests Lucien.

Everyone nods in agreement.

"I know where it is. I can guide you if you want," says Isabel after finishing her drink.

"Then, it's decided. We—" Lucien starts to say but is interrupted by someone knocking at the door.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Leah gets up from the chair and comes to the door. When she opens it, Valzun enters through the door.

"Good morning. I was told that you participated in an auction yesterday. So, I decided to bring you the object you bid on. Ah, hello Isabel! I didn't know you were here," Valzun says as he approaches the piss where the group was sitting.

"Oh, sí. I met them on the way to the elevator and then at the auction, and we've become very good amigos[1]," Isabel says with a big smile to Valzun and then to her new teammates.

The group, hearing this, can only shake their heads at such a shameless comment.

"All right. Well, here I leave it to you. See you soon," Valzun says as he leaves a box on the table and then heads for the door to leave.

When Valzun leaves, Eva gets up from her chair and approaches the table, curious about the artifact inside. Although she had already seen it before, at the auction, but wanted to take a closer look at it. She removes the lid from the box and takes out the object very carefully so that it does not break. The object cost them 22.5000.000!

When you leave it on the table, all eyes focus on the object.

"How do we make it work?" asks Leah.

" You only have to ask," says Eva. "Rinmian, what does the future bring to us?" she asks mystically.

Nothing happens.

"Are you sure?" asks Isabel.

Everyone looks up at Eva to see what she answers.

"Maybe you have to give it time," Leah says.

Everyone looks back at the papyrus, waiting for something to happen.

Nothing happens.

Everyone looks up from the object and looks at Eva.

"I don't know what's wrong. In the book, it said that you had to ask her a question and—" before she can say anything else, the object begins to shine.

Everyone gets closer to the artifact, so they can see better.

Little by little random letters appear to form words.

"You will embark on the journey of your lives, full of dangers, betrayals, and love. You will discover your inner strength, and you will have to learn to control it, or else the consequences can be devastating. Millions of lives will depend on your decisions. But first, you will go to Lokedall's workshop," Eva reads.

"Wow, a little grim, no?" Isabel says and shrugs her shoulders. "At least we know where we have to go first, don't we?"

Our heroes shake their heads.

"We have to find a place to keep it," says Lucien, as she puts the papyrus back in the box.

"Ten[2]," Isabel says, giving him a bag.

"Where did you get it from?" asks Eva confusedly, while Lucien takes the bag and places the box with the artifact in the bag, then puts it on his back.

"Duh! From my bag, where else?" says Isabel as she takes her bag and puts it on the table. "Everything fits in this bag. It's like having infinite space. Yours is like mine."

"Another creation by Lokedall?" asks Leah as she carefully examines the bag.

"Oh, no. I did this one. I was inspired by a film I saw when I was pequeña[3]," Eva says with a smile on her face, but her eyes say something else. Gloom.

"It's all right. We should get ready to go out and go to the workshop," says Lucien to change the subject. Not only did Isabel have a gloomy look, but Eva and Leah also begin to show symptoms of gloom.

The girls nod.

"Bueno, what do you prefer: the tourist route or the boring route?" asks Isabel, as she gets up.

"You decide. You're our guide," says Leah getting up as well.

"Vale. Let's go," Isabel says enthusiastically and heads for the door.

"Wait till we get our stuff first," Eva says.

Lucien and Eva shake their heads.

Five minutes later, in the hall, they say goodbye to the receptionist and go out into the street, with Isabel leading the group.
