Nova fell asleep in the team room for the Flowering Sun along with Mune, but he still woke up in time for things in the morning.
Though he and Mune both fell asleep in the room, Mune had continued to sleep.
He quietly closed the door of the room, exiting and leaving Mune to sleep.
Nova went to class as per usual, but was met by another "GO TO CLUB" message.
Anastasia and Sophia popped in after him.
『...Are you going to the cooking club today?』[Anastasia]
『I think it'll be fun, but you don't have to go!』[Sophia]
Nova yawned and shook his head.
『...I think I'll pass.』[Nova]
『Ah? Are you gonna go to a different club, then?』[Sophia]
He waved his hand in the air while walking away.
『Nah. I'm going to rest a bit.』[Nova]
They both stood out in the hallway, watching him walk off into the distance.
He returned to his dorm room and twisted the doorknob open.
The moment he walked inside, there was a jet of cool air.
『Nngh… It's cold...』[Nova]
Nova preferred to have a cold room so that when he slept, the blanket felt warmer.
He began to change clothes and went into the shower.
The moment he turned the water on, he felt grime and dust wash off of him.
He felt the most incomprehensible feeling of comfort when the water hit his skin.

He could burn the dust and grime off with his flame, but it felt much better to just take a shower.
Once he was done, he was about ready to clock out.
When he went to his bed, he slipped into it before he realized something was wrong.
When he laid down, sleeping right next to him was Freyana.

He stared at her face and saw tear stains that flowed down her face.
He took her hands and held them in his, examining her.
Looking at her arm, there seemed to be some heavy scratching marks.
「...Oh, no.」[Nova]
He saw some blood on her arm and fingernails.
He quietly murmured so she wouldn't wake up.
『...Blessed Flame Rebirth.』[Nova]
The blue flame burned, quietly healing her scratches and cuts.
She seemed to feel some discomfort as her eyes twitched lightly, but she remained asleep.
「She… must have really tired herself out.」[Nova]
He pulled the blanket over the both of them and embraced her.
『...I missed you.』[Nova]

When Nova fell into sleep, he found himself in a field of green.
『...Where in the world am I?』[Nova]
He realized that he had been here before for training with Reischneid.
『...Oh. I guess I circulated too much mana.』[Nova]
He sat there in the field, staring at the blue sky with clouds drifting past.
『...I haven't been able to train recently, huh?』[Nova]
He stood up on the grass and began to move the mana through his body.
Using what he remembered from his training with Reischneid, he began to practice the Torrential Rain Fist.
His stance was definitely a little sloppy in comparison to Reischneid's instructions, but that was due to Nova not training for a bit.
He formed the claw on his right hand while keeping an open hand for his left.
『...Okay! Come at me, brownlings!』[Nova]
Using his imagination, he summoned forth some brownlings like Reischneid did with the monsters before.
He summoned forth a bunch of rank 5 fast brownlings and began to defend himself.
They quickly dashed around Nova, but he managed to slip a few attacks in before he grabbed one by the front leg.
『Alright! True Gale!』[Nova]
He thrust his fingers into the body of the brownling, causing dust to explode forth, but he suddenly got barraged by a bunch of other brownlings.
『Ack! Oof! Argh?!』[Nova]
He got knocked around for a bit before he dispelled them from his mind.
Nova laid down on the floor, tired for a while.
『...Okay. Maybe I'll try to get a feel for Raiment.』[Nova]
The last time he tried to do it, he quickly lost the feeling for it and it disappeared.
He did some stretching to prepare himself, getting up off the floor.
『Raiment!』[Nova]
He saw his blue flames engulf the entire field before the coat robe and cape appear near him.
The moment it fully manifested, he felt a massive load get put on him.
His mana slowed down considerably, it felt like his mana drained way faster, the mana even became harder to control along with his existing mana feeling like a drop in a pool.
『T...Thi-This is WITH my mana heart?!』[Nova]
It reminded Nova of when he had just begun to learn to use his mana.
He maintained the flow for a bit, making him feeling like he was clenching up his whole body.
After a few seconds, he fell over and lost his concentration, causing his Raiment to flare up before the embers floated away.

He stood back up and got ready to try again.

A pulsating motion suddenly flowed through his body.

The mana capacity suddenly slammed back to his previous amount, his speed returning back to normal, and his mana beginning to regenerate again.

He clenched his heart as the mana began to chaotically move throughout his body.
『Ngh.. This isn't good...』[Nova]
He suddenly felt a hand smack him on his back.
『...Hasn't it been a little too quick for you to almost kill yourself again?』
Within moments, the chaotic energy inside of his body began to settle down and recede.
『...Haah… Haah….』[Nova]
He turned around to see who had smacked him on the back.
He was met with a young man with a long, white ponytail wearing an earring on his right ear and a flashy white suit with an orange tie that matched the colors of his eyes.
