Just like Cedric said, Rosie was discharged from the hospital the next day.

But Cedric couldn't come see her at the hospital or take her home and she understood. He was a busy man. And he had no business watching over his employee because she was just practically a stranger. And she knew he was still angry with her. So, some distance was required if she needed him to cool off some of his anger.

Cedric wasn't home when Aiden dropped her off. Calypso immediately ushered Rosie to her bedroom with orders to rest. Rosie wanted to complain. But she had already caused them too much trouble and didn't want to seem ungrateful for them helping her.

Lying on the bed, she called her father. She was suddenly feeling so homesick and wanted to hear his voice.

"Hey, Dad," Rosie said when he picked up. "How are you?"

"I'm fine, honey. And I'm glad you found your phone."
